The curried goat, gungo peas soup, jerk chicken, stew peas, and Barbi fried chicken were so delicious. The portions and cost were worth the trip for me. The service was friendly. The potato pudding, omg! Flavorful

Very authentic food, well seasoned and very tasteful. Customer service is amazing, the servers are pleasant and greets you with a smile. The ambiance is soothing. Big up Chef Lothian, great service, great food, and very clean and tidy restaurant.

It was myself,my mom and my husband. As we entered there was other patrons there but the atmosphere was welcoming. The place was clean. We didn't take long to get serve. Even the other patrons were welcoming. My husband was chit chatting to a couple. The portion was generous. We traveled from Brooklyn and weren't disappointed. Yes, I recommend this establishment 100%.

Been living in NYC for over 10 years and this place has the best Jamaican food i’ve ever had,hands down! I so happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this restaurant .First of all the customer service was excellent! I was shocked because as a Jamaican myself I know we aren’t so keen on good customer service ;).I got the chicken soup,jerk chicken and fried chicken with rice and peas and everything was 1000/10.The options were endless! They have everything you can think of.I don’t know who the chef is lol but he/she deserves a raise! Lol Keep it up Ms Lothian!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Last month was the first time I visited Ms. Lothian kitchen with my cousin and sister from Barbados. The staff greeted us as soon as we came in. The food looks so good that it took us a while to choose what we wanted. After we order our food omg it was tasty no complaints. I had a slice of potato pudding 🍮 and it was great, my sister loves the slice she had also. Ms. Lothian my cousin and I will be back again. What a great staff you have, a lady keep checking to see if everything was ok

I am reluctant to write this review in an attempt gatekeep the goodness and not make them too busy… but I will in case someone is unsure and they need AUTHENTIC Jamaican taste to warm their hearts. And some hearts need good Jamaican food to be right So here goes: They’re awesome. Front end staff were courteous and attentive, efficient. The rice and peas we had was with gungo- nice gungo with real coconut. Fried chicken was succulent, crunchy , flavorful, Steamed veggies, cooked and served just right, not overdone Oxtail was good cut, seasoned well with a healthful proportion of meat,- not skimpy and packed with bones and butter beans. Parking was good too. Keep up the awesome work, it’s worth it.

I’ve been following the journey for awhile on IG and always wanted to get a pudding but they were sold out!! To have a restaurant now is a very major accomplishment!! We ordered two large curry goat dinner, small chicken foot soup,side order of Jerk pork, and slice of sweet potato pudding. The food was amazing!! The staff was pleasant!! We were in the bank next door, the food was smelling, and folks were saying “ Yes their food is really good.” So all I gotta say is try it!! You won’t be disappointed. I definitely have to come back for the chocolate tea and patties.

I walked into the empty restaurant to get a beef patty these ladies gave me the nastiest look I was afraid to even order but they beef patties were sold out so I choose chicken .. they gave me the patty in the paper wrap with out a bag and rushed me to pay without asking me if I wanted something else … I sat down to eat it which wasn’t planned but I had no bag to carry it so I sat down …took one bite realized it was a veg not a chicken so I get up tell them this was a mistake the other woman there was so nasty and upset she had to have me what I paid for .. I sat ate and watched for a few mins everyone who came to order was from the islands and how I know bc of the accent .. now they were treated with respect they laughed with the customers and all just very welcoming .. but where’s was that nice hospitality when I came in they were so rude fyi mi daddy from Spanish town but I don’t need to have to show people where I from just for respect and just because of this experience I would never come back to this place they need to be ashamed and the chicken patty was gross just disgusting

Basically the rice was so hard it was like they tried to heat it but didn’t leave it in the microwave long enough so by the time it comes out to the buffet it cooled off quickly. I could tell the rice had been in the fridge cause when I home and reheat I put a wet paper towel and heat for a long time if not it will be fridge hard. This shouldn’t happen at a restaurant. Fresh cooked food is piping hot ! Chicken was hard as well. Never again ! My barber warned me and still gave I this place a try.
