Panda House Springville Reviews
Always very good food - better than most Chinese food restaurants.
Best Chinese food I've had in a while, better than what I get in Buffalo for sure. The old TV and decor took me back to when I was 5. Will be back.
My husband and I came here on our way to family’s house and didn't know they were cash only, didn't bring enough cash for the order. The owner was nice as could be and said just come back with it later. On our way home, we stopped to give her the rest of what we owed and she was SO thankful!! Even said "I wouldn't have cared if you came back or not!" And gave us a package of almond cookies on the house (which were VERY tasty). Caring people, awesome food. 10/10
It's good Chinese food. It's what you expect to get when someone tells you a Chinese restaurant in America is good.
The food was great, but I got a hug from the owner after three minutes of conversation. Good people.
Absolutely wonderful!! The owner is super sweet and kind, and the food is incredible! The crab rangoons are full, and the meats are velvety and big! A perfect little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that will fill your stomach and your heart. Also, the almond cookies are worth the $1.25 🩷🩷🩷 10/10 Will always come again^_^
My wife and I occasionally order takeout from here. The food is the best we’ve had. It is a little pricey, but we like to support the local family owned restaurant. The woman who is always working when we go in is so kind, cheerful and wonderful.
Best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had. Huge pieces of white meat. Delish. Lady at counter is so sweet and bubbly. We often order chicken with garlic sauce or shrimp and broccoli. All very good.
Sweet-n-Sour chicken and Chicken with mixed vegetables were very good. The egg rolls not so much. A little pricey. Very friendly. Cash only. No menu available.
Good big portions of food. And got a hug from the owner. Very nice lady.
Little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant that may have changed names several times, but most of the food taste has not. Lo mein tasted of my childhood, and the General Tso's did not disappoint. Only wish the Egg Roll was as good as I remember, and I'd have given it 5 stars.
The food was delicious. The meat portions wertr much smaller than other places. The price is a bit high compared to other similar local chinese places. Upside: the crab rangoon comes with 10 pieces instead of 8 like many others. The people who work there are exceptionally friendly and nice.
don't get me wrong. the general sous was great. but the lomein had more onions in it then lomein noodles. talk about expensive. a large general sous and a large shrimp lo mein cost me $36. absolutely ridiculous
I’ve eaten at Panda House a few times and the food itself has been fine, but the pricing has honestly been frustrating. I’ve ordered the exact same meal three different times and paid three completely different prices. I understand prices go up with inflation — that’s normal — but this feels different. The total seems to change pretty often, even within the same month. Another thing that makes it confusing is that I usually don’t get an itemized receipt, so there’s no real way to see how the total was calculated. That makes it hard to know what’s going on or why the price keeps changing. I’m not trying to bash the place — I just think clearer, consistent pricing and giving customers receipts would make a big difference.
I no like you, you no good she say. Like wife she say. Get our food, annnnd everyones sick. Nope. Never again. Lmao ill go to Olean. Or the city. Where things have to be legit.
Depressing. Disappointing! Don’t waste your time/money! This place had barely three light bulbs installed to illuminate the dining area/cashier. Walls have faded old paint too. It felt like a scene out of a horror movie. MENU IS MISLEADING AND NOT UP TO DATE. Placed a takeout order and was told “everything one size” but was not given a receipt. Our total did not reflect what was shown on online menu! Food was super greasy too from sweet sour chicken to the lo mein with barely any spice. Do not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
They over charge you for food. You ask for the lunch special during lunch then they give you full meal and charge for it. They knew about this and would not fix it. Disappointed and never again. That's not how you run a business.
We ordered 3 combo meals and rice. We were told on the phone, when we specifically asked how much, $56. My daughter got there to pick it up and was told $67 dollars. This is outrageous. I used to love going there, but never again
I've only ever ordered takeout here and it's decent. Not the best. If you only ever eaten Chinese food in a rural environment maybe it's good for you but if you eaten in cities and anywhere else this place is mediocre at best and the foods are insanely overpriced. I ordered once and said how the hell do these 3 items cost $40 and then i forgot and came here again and only ordered because my wife had a craving but i would never spend more than $15 in any other location for what i ordered last and was 25 ish dollars. The people are nice but if you are ordering food here you are contributing directly to their wealth. This is a rip off. If you think the following pictures are worth $24 you're smoking cr**k
