What Customers Say About Med Cafe
Med Cafe is a convenient spot on campus for coffee, lunch, and snacks. Customers praise the friendly baristas (Alma, Teresa, Jocelyn, Maria, Joselyn, Jhonny, Daniela, and Joy) and the variety of freshly made lunch meals. Some find it pricey, especially for plant milk and inconsistent food quality.

It is great place for coffee. I miss it so much. Alma ,Teresa and Jocelyn are always nice and smile to serve to us. They are great.
My friends and I grab our drinks here during lunch almost everyday. The service is great service, hot food is good, and the baristas are really friendly. Maria, Joselyn, Jhonny, Daniela, and Joy. There are a couple more baristas but I can’t recall their names.
The lunch meals are different every day and freshly made in LKSC. The coffee sold here is also very good. If you're in a hurry, then just grab a slice of pizza.

Good peanut butter overnight oats but very expensive. I wish they had salmon every day!

Nice place to grab a snack or even have lunch. They have sushi and hot entrees. The also serve Starbuck's coffee and pastries. I always get the granola cookie. ;)
excellent restaurant, a little small, serving deliciously cooked food and Starbucks beverages at affordable prices. does not accept cash however, unfortunately.
I like their menu and have a few favorites. Try the fish. Staff are nice and their hours are very convenient.
There is a new chef who has been making some decent food lately. The price per meal is a bit steep, but I suppose that's what you get on campus.

Charging extra for plant milk in 2025 is not cool. What about Stanford's commitment to sustainability?

Hit and miss, sometimes the food is good, but often it's not. Today they had fish and chips, the fish was burnt (over fired and dry) on top of that the food was cold. If you are going to charge the Stanford Community more than Whole Foods your quality of your product should be superior. Additionally, lines are often long, not the best place to go if you want to grab a quick bit to eat.
They recently switched to Clara's sandwiches made from hunks of nutrition-free white r olls with virtually no filling. avoid

The food used to be great and tasty prior to new management. The lunch options are bland, overdone, unappetizing. Prepackaged salads are inedible, sandwiches are mostly bread. And it definitely isn’t cheap.
