Cafe Latté Staten Island Reviews
The place is very clean, looks like they have a separate section that's outdoors but it's for smokers. I don't smoke so I sat inside. I sat at a table that seats 4 people since it wasn't crowded and the only customer at the inside part , I was greeted when I came in, I was stared at for a bit but the young hostess gave me a menu. I was ready to order, I ordered the chicken chops with rice and a cappuccino. The cappuccino arrived and I was also served a glass of iced water. The cappuccino was kinda heavy taste which it shouldn't be, I added 4 packets of brown sugar to lighten the flavor. The food was absolutely amazing, this is the best Mediterranean food I've ever had yo. I thought the portion was small but naaaa son it's very filling, awesome flavor, fresh tasty chicken, the bread toasty and soft, omg I was having a food gasm like I'm not gonna lie. I definitely need to come back and try the other stuff on the menu. I asked the server where was she from or the restaurant, she told me Kosova a part in Albania. Yo this is the best Albanian food I've had like my hats off to the chef. The service check in needs a bit of improvement and turn off the staring please, it's NYC and there will be customers from different countries visiting this amazing restaurant. I know I'll be back, the lady server was nice but, I did come in nice and smiling, I'm a social butterfly when necessary. I also love to try new places I don't go to many restaurants on the island but I did learn about this place from a famous TikTok influencer riskybiscui7. His customer service experience wasn't a positive one but he gave a great food review. Hopefully this restaurant reaches out to him and offer him a better service. God bless and Happy New Years.
Cafe Latte is an absolute gem on Staten Island. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with that perfect cozy vibe — warm lighting, great music, and a smell of fresh coffee that instantly wakes your soul up. The staff is super friendly and genuinely makes you feel welcome, not just like another customer in line. Their lattes are always on point: smooth, rich, and never bitter. You can tell they actually care about the quality of their coffee. The pastries and small bites are also amazing — fresh, flavorful, and perfect alongside a drink. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying longer than you planned because it’s just that comfortable. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee, studying, or hanging out with friends, Cafe Latte really hits the mark. Consistent, clean, and always a great experience. Definitely one of the best spots on the island!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Truly Exceptional My fiancée, Likseva, and I stopped in tonight on our way back to Brooklyn and we were blown away. From the warm welcome by the lovely Montenegrin-Albanian owner to the beautiful atmosphere and soft music, everything felt personal and heartfelt. The food was phenomenal, full of flavor and clearly made with passion. This is the kind of place you remember long after you leave. We’ll definitely be back soon to see the owner again and enjoy another amazing meal together. As a Marine Corps Colonel who has dined all over the world, I can say with confidence that Cafe Latte is a must-visit. Highly recommended. #CafeLatte #StatenIsland #MediterraneanCuisine #HiddenGem #MarineCorpsColonelApproved #AlbanianHospitality #LiksevaAndMark “Me zemër e me shpirt” – with heart and soul
came in about 30 mins before closing and were still greeted and welcomed warmly. we were served by a young gentleman with glasses and a beard (unfortunately i didn’t catch his name) who was an absolute class act. we ordered the mediterranean panini and grilled chicken wrap both of which were phenomenal. the food is fresh, clean and delicious! a pleasant young lady with dark hair helped bring some of our orders out. as amazing as the food was, i cannot stress how excellent the service is. this place is truly a gem! will be returning and recommending to friends and family!
I love this restaurant. The food is super delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is outstanding. I've had lunch here on many occasions and always leave satisfied. There is outside seating which is canopy covered, that's a plus.
This place was cozy yet comfortable. The service was super friendly, and the food was perfect portions and great. The waiter was very sweet to my toddler. They accommodated last minute for Mothers Day, which was very nice. It was not crowded at all.
Food was amazing, the pasta bolognese tasted very fresh. The service is also very friendly and the food came out quickly. I would recommend this place every time. I’ve been coming here for months and won’t stop any time soon.
Came in today for a café latte and really enjoyed the overall vibe of the place. The interior is beautiful and has a cozy feel that makes it easy to relax and hang out for a bit. The menu is small but solid and everything we ordered tasted fresh. One thing to note, they do allow smoking out on the patio, and the smell definitely drifts inside. I personally don’t mind it, but if you’re sensitive to smoke it’s something to keep in mind before coming. Service was a little slow, not bad and no one was rude or anything, just took a bit longer than expected. Overall still a nice spot and I’d come back.
A very nice lunch at the adorable Cafe Latte in Dongan Hills, on a side street just off Hylan Blvd. We both had paninis: the grilled chicken (with lettuce, tomatoes, swiss cheese & pesto vinaigrette) and the Mediterranean (grilled chicken with spinach, grilled vegetables & goat cheese). The service was great and they also have outdoor space.
Cozy interior, but that's about it. Overpriced food (a 4 person lunch was $170, tip included), especially one appetizer (forgot the actual name of the dish) 2 spoonful of hummus, one spoonful of tzatziki with pita. The lemonade tasted fake (chemicals) with non-disolved sugar at the bottom of the glass, the fried cheese and the fish (salmon) was too salty. The pickled veggie burger on a pita was soggy at the bottom. The waiters were very amable and helpful. Oh, and don't sit at the table next to the back door (that goes to the outside sitting). When that door opens, the wind tunnel generated is very unpleasant.
