Dairy Palace Staten Island Reviews
They have a new pizza guy, Juan. He is amazing. Pies are coming fresh out of the oven and he is putting toppings on too! They have vegetable, vodka sauce, white, broccoli, garlic knots and more. Juan will also custom make you one, just give him 15-20 minutes. Now this is a real pizza store.
All in all great place! Highly recommend. We ordered on the phone. Food was ready and warm shortly after we came in. One item was not cooked properly. We asked the manager and he made us a new one free of charge. People there were friendly and welcoming. Although my toddler was rambunctious, people treated her politely in the store.
THE NICEST STAFF EVER And yummy food!!!!
If you want to have a delicious slice of pizza or soup here is the place you should go! The cheese warm pizza comes straight from the oven to your plate and the soup is so tasty!!. They have other delicious dishes for one to have a fulfilling lunch or dinner.
Excellent food and service. Got gnocchi and pizza, both good
Really nice and quaint place. Not a lot of seating room, but there was enough room for us! The food was excellent!
Such friendly and courteous service great food at very reasonable prices
Great Chalav Yisrael Kosher pizza, and a lot of other food as well. My children's favorite!
Absolutely loved the pizza! The crust to cheese ratio is perfect and the toppings are generous. Delicious!! And the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!
Delicious food, tons of variety and choices for the whole family (no more sushi but there was plenty to make up for it), cozy atmosphere! We loved the palace bombs for dessert! Would gladly come back the next time we visit Staten Island and need a great kosher meal.
The pizza and french fries at dairy Palace who was absolutely fabulous if I could give it 10 Stars I would plan on going back real real soon great extensive menu thank you so much. A very happy and delighted customer am I!!!
I was here for the first time and am so glad I stopped in, the food was absolutely delicious! My family loved it! There's so much to choose from on the menu, they got something for everyone. I love their sushi salad!! Definitely gonna stop by again next time I'm in Staten Island. Thanks guys for the great service.
I've been here a few times over the last year and I would return. The pizza is surprisingly good considering they're the only kosher pizza in town. It's competitive with Cedarhurst shops. French fries are ok, although I'd love to see steak fries here. The sushi is Jewshi - plain and uninspired but fresh and well formed. Nothing wrong with it as part of a larger order but this isn't really a sushi destination. The beverage selection is nice. Seating is easy, it has an "out of town" pizza shop ambiance, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only improvements I'd ask for are those steak fries and delivery service - they don't deliver during peak hours. Understandable but frustrating. Overall it's great for what it offers and it does exactly what it says on the label.
We stopped to grab dinner to eat in the car while on a road trip. I had a veggie burger. Presentation was a bit of an issue because I couldn’t find the top of the bun until I eat the salad in top of it. Huge side of fries. Kids split a pizza and fought over the last piece, so it must’ve been good. We also split an order of delicious parve kibbe. Tahini was super watery but the kibbe itself was delicious.
This is a review by Oscar Jaeger, Lois's husband. I was here yesterday at around 4:30 p.m. and ordered four take-out dishes. While ordering, I observed that the restaurant was decently maintained and that the person taking my order was courteous and efficient. The place was clean, as was the bathroom, which I used after placing my order. The ambience is just okay; if you're looking for a fine dining experience, look elsewhere. The food left a lot to be desired. Concerning the two Chinese-style dishes I ordered from the restaurant's vast menu, Sesame Chicken with rice and Chow Fun Chicken, both contained not very tasty vegetarian "meat" and tasteless fried onions. At least the first dish was edible; the second was a "hot mess": it was not described as spicy in the menu, but it contained such a huge amount of cayenne pepper flakes that, when I brought the dish home, Lois and I could not eat it without my first washing out most of the cayenne (along with whatever other seasonings the dish may have had, which were indiscernible after the washing). From the hot steaming foods section I ordered the homemade Potato Latkes and the homemade Cheese Blintzes. The first dish was not bad, but overly salted; the second dish was flavorless. All in all, the main basis of any recommendation to eat food at or from this restaurant would be the fact that there are few if any similar restaurants on Staten Island.
The selection is massive. Pizza, pasta, sushi, paninis, and much more. The food we ordered took a bit longer than expected but was good. However, there were multiple families sitting inside clearly not observing social distancing and some of the staff had masks that did not cover their noses.
The food is okay, took quite long to prepare. My main complaint is that the store is filthy. Tables were filthy and there doesn't seem to be any attendant who cleans up. The guys behind the counter don't seem to care. Ketchup goo and who knows what else smeared all over the table! C'mon!
Gross. Greasy pizza place with bad food. Salads looked great but it was just pre washed lettuce and premade dressing.
