New Chef Hong Kitchen Staten Island Reviews
Underrated Chinese Food. I ordered the sesame chicken with chicken fried rice for lunch and it was delicious. It definitely compares favorably with the many different Chinese fast food restaurants that I have been to. Price is similarly cheap too. I was surprised at the chicken fried rice option, usually it's only pork fried rice for lunch. Will come back to try other dishes!
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants around. The flavor is there. The texture is there. Not the greatest atmosphere it’s kind of hot inside but the food is delicious. This and mayflower on Caselton are the top takeouts in the city.
They have an authentic chinese food! and we can dine in. I tried their orange chicken, turned out it’s very good
what price of the items, i cant see the current prices? i only the old menu prices which are great...3 items its 32 already i thought its going to be like 24 in total.
The food here is excellent and the staff is very nice. They even customized my dish. It was so good, I came back and they remembered me and my order. Highly recommend!
Very good food ;I come here quite frequently. Their vegtatble fried rice is very well cooked and their service is top tier. One of the best spots in the northern part of ataten island for sure.
Food is delicious, but the person on the phone usually sounds like theyre rushing you to place your order. Rushing you off the phone
The combinations package are really worthy in terms of quanity and taste. They have variety of options as well. We tried Sea food Lo mein , shrimp lo mein all the items were very generous in portion and fresh.
This place is very nice the food taste great and these are good hardworking people please treat them kindly as they Learn to navigate there business through these trying times
I'm very picky about my food. Hands down the best Chinese restaurant on Staten island in my opinion. I say that because of the price, quality and quantity of the food. I've ordered here for the last 8 years. Never had a bad order. They never miss, it's been a consistent hit each and every time.
I order from here at least twice a week. Food is always on point. I haven't had one meal miss the mark. I've also suggested this spot over the other Chinese food on Staten island. Delivery is pretty fast even in bad weather. Definitely worth the eats.
My wife loves the flavor of the meals here. the service is normal (the food is so good that on a busy day the phone rings by the time the staff hangs up, and there are two phones and it's on Fire (in a good way).🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
Food was great, will be my go to for lunch when I'm at work and crave Chinese food. I had the chicken broccoli with pork fried rice and a small order of chicken lo mein and both didn't disappoint. It's very hard to find some good Chinese food on the island and I'm happy I found this one by my job.
The food here is great! My fiance order every Sunday as a "thing" and honestly prior to trying this place 5 months ago we never really ate chinese food prior. Definately the best we have in the neighborhood. Good quality, nicely prepared, and fast delivery.
My wife ordered from seamless and the wrong order was delivered with the wrong customization. We called the restaurant directly and the woman on the phone was exceptionally patient and walked us through the process of making it right through seamless. Even staying on the line until it was all sorted. The correct dish was delivered promptly and was delicious. Many thanks for working hard to fix our order.
This is our third order with them however overall for our experience with them is three stars. Since they have some hits like their fried scallops and fried chicken wings but they also have some misses like their fries are soggy and taste old. Then there’s the onion rings and it’s another soggy not crispy story. But to top it all off it’s the inconsistency when we ask for hot sauce, ketchup and bbq sauce on our food, they sometimes do it and that just messes up the whole experience of getting ready to eat your food, being excited, just to be asking where the sauce at. Anyway, I know good food when I get it, this spots a hit and miss depending on what you order.
I hate to do ⭐⭐ because there wasn't anything significantly wrong with the food except for PRICE (more on that later) and the lady who takes the orders (I think I heard a regular call her Michelle?) she's a pleasant person. BUT, I'm sorry, OVER $10 for 4 chicken wings & French fries?! I'm sorry, this particular dish which holds major nostalgia for me should NEVER cost OVER $10. Ten dollars flat would've been a bad enough disappointment but I think I would handle it better (they even have a sign posted about rising costs forcing increase in menu prices) but those several cents over $10 particularly offended me. Even with inflation, I don't think 4 CW & FF (at your basic Chinese food spot in the hood) should total more than $8; it definitely shouldn't be $10 or more. Obviously, you can see how PRICE has triggered me and hence the low rating. PLUS the young lady (not maybe-Michelle) forgot hot sauce on my CW. That's a felony! And I mentioned at least three times: "Ketchup on the fries and A LOT of hot sauce on the chicken wings."
All the time, when a call, no body,, answer the Phone, What's wrong? Gays,,
Called once to order food they said 30 minutes I will recieve my food.. 1 hour and 40 minutes later no food I called to tell them that it was ridiculous they said driver is leaving soon so I told them to cancel they then put me on a do not deliver list terrible service
The food was delicious and well prepared and the staff were well represented.
Very unprofessional. They will talk to you anyway they feel they can. I use to work order from them all the time spending no less then $25 .they talked to me so rude and the delivery driver is worst!!! Never again!!
