San Jeronimo Restaurant & Bakery Staten Island Reviews
The food was so good that I couldn't think of taking pictures until I had time to breathe in between eating. The spice level was exactly what it should be. I loved the avocado crema. The best thing on top of my milanese torta. I also had the Pollo gordita. My brother ordered the steak quesadilla which was wonderful. But we both loved the Birria Ramen the most. And to finish off the dinner right we went for the wonderful selection of cakes and pastries in their bakery section. Definitely gonna come back to try more stuff. Parking maybe an issue because it's right on Port Richmond Avenue bit it's very convenient to get to being right next to Ralph's ices.
Really enjoyed it here! Great Mexican food and drinks! Felt like I was in Tijuana or some small city in the heart of Mexico. Staff handled the food cleanly and the food and drinks there were very good for the price. If only my stomach could handled more food!
What an awesome place! From the sweet smell of the baked breads to the Spanish accent waitresses. I really enjoyed my dinner date with my wife here. The food on the menu catered mostly to authentic Mexican cuisine. Make sure you order their home made sweet drinks there, my wife got the mango and she loved it, refreshing!A few pictures to show you what we ordered!
OH. MY. GOD. Do not sleep on this place- amazing food!! If you like Mexican food this is the place on the island. You can do take out or dine in. I went in on a Saturday night for dinner. The wait to be served was a little long, BUT they had a party in the other room- the servers were hustling- and they give you free chips and salsa while you wait. Once the food came it blew me away. The flavor was phenomenal and the presentation was muah *chef’s kiss*. I also had homemade flan after the meal. Drool. My aunt had the tres leches cake. Both so good! We got some of their bakery items to go too. Literally everything was delicious, fresh and amazing. I loved it so much I went back the next day for another meal. Seriously a hidden gem on the avenue. Come!!
Great customer service, authentic, local quality Mexican food for great prices. Delicious and fresh tacos and tamales. They also bake fresh mexican pastries daily!
Food was delicious!!! I would definitely come back again!
Wow the food was absolutely amazing, from the tostadas de bistec to the tres leches de fresa. A must on your culinary list!

Great Mexican food; authentic, with house made salsas, took some pan dolce home, and will return for a cake, when we have a party! Parking lot is small, but covered for the lunch crowd. Will definitely be going back!

Great service and food at an incredible price! The guacamole and birria were amazing!
Today I order a number of different items for the two of us, to hold us over for few days after a recent snow storm. All was super fresh ,& delicious.

The enchiladas de pollo en salsa verde always hits! But I ordered it once on DoorDash and apparently didn’t specify if I wanted salad/beans but I didn’t give me the option to! So they send me salad and so you’re gonna have to call them to let them know what sides you want. Other than that just order on the phone to get the order cheaper and correct!
San Jeronimo has outstanding service that keeps you coming back! The staff is incredibly warm and attentive every single visit. The food and atmosphere have room to grow but the heart of this place is undeniable. A solid neighborhood restaurant and bakery worth supporting!

Multiple times ordered for pickup and was told 25min for food to be ready. Waited more than 45min when the restaurant was empty. Restaurant got upset I didn't wait and choose to go somewhere else. The thing that sucks is that the food is actually decent from here.

Don't grubhub this restaurant made me wait 20 mins to approve my order. my dasher was waiting then made me wait another 20 minutes to cancel my order, and say the store is closed.when it's literally open right now. What jerks you just lost a customer.
