Periodic Table at Catamount

I had an anniversary dinner there Aug.31 of this year. Everything was outstanding, even though 2 waiters were taking turns serving us. It's ok, I didn't mind. I just received my credit card statement and the total is different than the receipt in my hand.This restaurant has over charged my account by $30.00. I can't wait to find out what happened.I'll let you know.

We had dinner last night at Periodic Table with friends. We've tried several of their menus in recent years and last night's Asian theme was very impressive, both in variety and quality / taste. This menu is varied enough that we can eat there again without repeating last night's dishes.

A delicious menu! Five of us went to dinner and ordered different items- the duck for two, the chicken a la king and the Dover sole - it was absolutely delicious, a really cool concept of making classic dishes with a new twist! We really enjoyed the sides and some appetizers as well. The ambiance was great and we loved the live music We will definitely be back!

Periodic Table was fantastic. We were lucky enough to get a table in the bar and every dish was delicious. The seafood tower and the NY strip were amazing! The service was superb and the wine list was great! We will definitely be back!

The bar service was amazing! Lee was professional, helpful, and went above and beyond the entire night. It could not have gone better. I really appreciate your help from start to finish. We will definitely back. I’m excited to share our experience with our friends. The perodic Table staff seemed to be a highly functioning team!

Incredible experience always at the Periodic Table. Every bite was delicious on the Mahalo-rado menu. Our server Brooke was next level wonderful. Will be back for the upcoming winter offering, for sure...Mahalo!

Loved it!!! BUT coming from an Icelandic person…wish there was a better demonstration of scandi music!! So monsters and men, ABBA, etc.

There are so many great things to say about this place that it's not even worth listing them all, because the list would be endless. The food here is so delicious that it's one of the only places I've eaten where the high price actually matches the quality. The chef at this restaurant is a culinary genius. The food is both simple (and beautiful) in its presentation and deliciously complex in its flavor. Our server and hostess were incredibly accommodating and friendly, and chose all the right times to approach our table without interrupting conversation. The server (Cam?) was very knowledgeable about the dishes, was easy to talk to, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We took cheese cake to go after our delicious meal. When I asked if they had plastic forks (because we were staying at a hotel which had not provided them for us) the server said they did not have any, but then in yet another heroic effort of service provided us with a metal fork to take with us. What an experience. I will go back there every time I visit Steamboat.

I showed up on the wrong date, and the staff was so accommodating. We sat at the bar where Cory took great care of us while she was bartending. She knew the menu cold, and made some great suggestions. The food was amazing! Love the whole concept and will be a favorite in Steamboat!

Had a wonderful time dining here! I’d dined here last winter with their Kin menu and that was fabulous, so I came back to try the Italian style menu and was once again blown away. I’d recommend the Agnolotti duo app and eggplant parm. Drinks were also superb. All around great experience, will be going back!

Cam Nix, our waiter, provided the most exemplary service that I could expect. The chicken wings were delicious, as promised. My compliments to the chef. When a server offers a recommendation for food choices and it is everything he says it will be, I greatly appreciate the result.

Wow wow wow. What an amazing dining experience! I seldom write reviews but this needed some praise. Food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal. Staff was all amazing. Cam was such a kind server and made wonderful recommendations. Food came out very quickly yet so fresh. Club Med menu was delicious, I wish I could make it out again before it's gone. I brought some friends in to celebrate a birthday. We were in for the Alps theme this winter, and it was amazing! From start to finish; it was a great experience. The warm welcoming mulled wine was a great start. We all decided to have the fondue, it was executed wonderfully and the accompanying foods to dip were great. From there we had a little bit of everything on the menu and we were all so happy with how it was all executed. Jackson our server had perfect timing and table presence to let us enjoy this amazing experience. Don't miss this Alps concept this winter!

Outstanding 🤩 incredible cocktails, fabulous food, great service, and a beautiful setting. Each of our drinks was unique with great flavors. The appetizers and oysters were amazing. Each our entrees had unique twists, great presentation, and several layers of amazing flavors from the first bite till the last. Don’t miss Periodic Table. Absolutely amazing food, above and beyond my exspectations. Everything about the theme was so cohesive and worked so well together. I loved that the menu mentioned where the meats were sourced from. So many amazing options for everyone.

Really wonderful overall. I love the Asian theme this season!! Always great food. The service was very good, atmosphere was nice. Pork Buns were fantastic. The wagyu hot plate with the black garlic sauce was really good (though a bit thick cut imo). Definitely recommend it.

Had a wonderful meal for my wife’s birthday. The staff buys into their seasonal menu and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a date night!

Periodic Table was a great stop on our trip. The menu was exciting and the food was delicious. We hit the end of happy hour which was great for appetizers and cocktails. Frank was very attentive and helped with meal selection. Everything we had was fantastic but the elk was probably the star. They have a kids’ menu for little ones which I don’t believe is shown on the website. Dessert was amazing! We had the pear tart and almond cake. Definitely recommend for dinner.

The food was so delicious! They added the perfect mix of flavor and made sure it was juicy and fresh. (And there was cheese) the servers were so nice and social in a polite way! The atmosphere was so fancy but comfortable and cozy. It added to the flavor of the food and the other way around! The servers helped the atmosphere as well!!!

Amazing dining experience, world-class service, and an inviting atmosphere that just so happens to have delicious food. Their menu is always changing with new and exciting cuisines to try that take advantage of local meats and greens. Whatever the menu is, you can be sure to have some of the best food in the Yampa Valley and exquisite service that will leave you wanting to come back to try their latest menu. Frank was an amazing server!

This was the first time my husband and son and I ate at this fabulous establishment. I can’t tell you how wonderful it was from the hostess, the bartender, all the service people and the excellent chefs. The food was unbelievable. It was so flavorful one of the best Saturday night dinners we’ve had In Steamboat Grazie

I’ve been here half a dozen times over the last couple years and it’s always delicious. As a vegetarian, I always leave satisfied. The cocktails are creative and the service is impeccable. It is inviting, unpretentious, and worth the spend.

Great food! The rotating menus are awesome. We have been about a dozen times or so and each time we come back it’s great. One of our favorite places in Steamboat.

Second time eating dinner here with the family. Such an amazing experience! Food was incredible. Service was even better. Morgan K took such good care of us. We will definitely be back!

We are not so sophisticated in our current life, but have been more so in the past. We were a little nervous to come, but wanted a nice atmosphere and enjoyable experience for our anniversary. Periodic table and Brooke did not disappoint!!! We really appreciate how amazing and welcoming Brooke was! Thank you so much! We will see you in a few months!

Morgan and Frank are such sweethearts- the whole team actually signed a birthday card, aw! Do not overlook the barley risotto (a side!) was the perfect cozy grounding item we needed after a day in fresh pow.

Not only was the food and atmosphere amazing, but Brooke was a fantastic server. We love the rotating menu-it keeps it fresh and it is impressive the inventive menus they keep coming up with. Be sure to give this incredible restaurant a try!

Our waitress Brooke was attentive and kind. She shared knowledge of the seasonal aspect of the restaurant and provided excellent food and drink recommendations.

Brooke was amazingly, amazing. She was attentive and fun. Great view. Saw a fox. Fantastic fall colors. Can’t wait for the winter menu.

We've eaten here a couple of times. The menu this season is Mediterranean. Unfortunately, my salmon and the other entrees were all over cooked. The moussaka eggplant skins were tough, and the portion was small for a vegetarian dinner. The presentation for all entrees was very nice and the dessert was delicious. For the price, I expect their "A" game.

Cocktails were great and service was too, we had several appetizers, hot stones, and an entree. Very underwhelming and incredibly salty on most of the dishes. Boa buns were fantastic though. Staff were supper friendly and hospitable. Hopefully the kitchen was just having an off night but not sure I would try again.

We went to the Periodic Table with a party of ten. The drinks were mixed reviews. The Millie’s Mustache was good, the Pinot Noir was good, both the non- alcoholic and the alcoholic version of a Prickly Pear drink (Cactus Flower?) were just OK. They were a little bitter. All of our meals were a disappointment. The steaks - the ribeyes, tenderloins, and their steak frites - were all over cooked. They were charred on the outside so that they were dry and hard until you got to the center. They tasted like ashes/charcoal instead of like steak. The butternut squash soup was very tasty. Brussels sprouts were OK but dry. The bread and the balsamic onions that came with it were good. They even forgot to cook one of our dinners! One person at our table had to wait until our dinners were almost finished before he received his dinner. The management was nice about comping desserts for our table, but the desserts were not stellar either. The s’mores dessert had a very hard cookie and chocolate that was not melted. You could not cut into it without force. The marshmallows were just stuck around the outside with a drizzle of chocolate. Not toasted or even warm. We have been coming to Steamboat for over 40 years and have eaten at almost all of Steamboat restaurants through the years. Sorry, but we will not be returning to The Periodic Table.

Bad experience - I can handle expensive prices or poor service or a really long wait time or average food, but not all 4. Took 30 minutes to get drinks out, ordered after, didn’t get some things we ordered, got an extra thing we didn’t order so that’s a plus I guess, took 2-1/2 hrs in total with kids. Server did apologize at the end, but nothing really done to help make up for anything. The fact that I took the time to leave a review speaks to how bad this experience was.
