Poppy Coffee Stockton Reviews
Very well designed coffee shop. Aesthetics are very pleasing and the pastries were freshly baked. I enjoyed the service in both times. I’ve tried their hot tea which they have some good selections. I made a TikTok on 209 foodie alert if you want to see more
Poppy's in Stockton is finally open in it's new location and it did not disappoint 👏 I had the Pumpkin Spice Latte and my husband had Banana Latte, both incredible. Take a stroll down to The Mile and relax a bit!

Great service and cutest place 😍
Great new Stockton coffee shop right off miracle mile. Friendly staff. Took a while to get my food but I figure they are figuring things out still. Was delicious
Definitely a good spot to get lost in. Will be coming back as many times as I can.
The best place to get a mexican hot chocolate or a hot Jasmine tea!!
My son & I are so happy they've reopened in this new location.
Excellent Coffee. Cozy atmosphere, great, friendly service. Such a nice, refreshing alternative to Starbucks. I've been here before and plan on continuing to frequent Poppy Coffee. THANN YOU Poppy Coffee for being what a small Cafe Shpuld Be! ~Scotty S.
Home of my favorite Vanilla Chai in the whole 209 area code. Poppy coffee welcomes me back with a new bigger, shiny location!

Very cool place I’ll definitely be going back
The chai was really good. Really nice place to stop by and study or hang out.
We went for the first time today, going for a much needed caffeine beverage. I ordered a Mint Chip Frap , the wife a Mexican Frap. Though both were very delicious, mine unfortunately did not have the mint flavoring, so it only tasted like a coffee chip drink. We definitely will go back, though it was not made properly. Great service and pastries.
The atmosphere is really laid back. I really love seeing a place that has people connecting And interacting. The only down side was the space. It was really tight. They do have decaf espresso so there is a larger variety of drinks than what I had expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I like it but when I asked to have the music softer so I could talk with my friends. The waitress said she could turn it down but she liked it. I was offended
The new location is perfect for this coffee shop compared to the old one, I’m glad to see more traffic going through this business’s doors. It is deserved… I do however would like to ask that they look into making the quality of their coffees more consistent because sometimes it’s good and other times it needs some work … other than that I hope nothing but a progression in quality and also an everblooming success! This cafe has potential..

A very cute place I have to admit! But very poor service here. I’ve only met one girl who works here who is actually very kind, but not enough for me to return, or to recommend this place to anyone else. I had the pleasure of meeting the mother (or grandmother? I can’t remember, sorry) of the owner who was absolutely LOVELY. But even she warned me about the owner. Got to briefly meet the owner (if I can even say that) and she wouldn’t look me in the face and completely stuck her nose up at me. And this was after I spent $30 in their shop. Staff will intentionally ignore me, glare me down just for walking into their shop, and will roll their eyes and sigh at me for just sitting down. I wouldn’t recommend, unless you get the only nice person that works here. It’s a shame because it has so much potential to make Stockton a more beautiful place. But again, that’s up to each individual person to do, and they can do that without a place like this.
I keep giving this place more chances, but I think I'm officially done. Having to pay extra to have milk in my coffee was weird, but I can understand. However, the lack of consistency in the food and drinks has become really bad. Yesterday was the final straw for me. I ordered the bacon quiche. I paid 6.50 for a quiche that could be eaten in 3 small bites. It was overcooked, and burnt on top. It was super salty. I took one bite, and threw it away. Staff are also inconsistent. Only a small number of them are nice. Most of them lack the ability to connect with customers in the most basic ways. I get better service going to a drive-through.
Got the banana late and egg nog coffee. Coffee was watered down not good at all had high expectations. Paid $15.60 for 2 small coffees

Too much ice in my drink asking for light ice. Really expensive. The food portions got smaller too by half. The sandwiches are tiny now to save on costs.
The coffee could be better and they could put more effort. This is my second time coming here, and $15 for two small coffees is crazy. It didn’t even taste good at all. I’d rather buy coffee at Peet’s instead, and the Wi-Fi is horrible. Definitely not worth the price or the experience.
staff has not been friendly any of the 4 times i’ve tried to give this place a chance. always really terrible customer service, and acting like they don’t want to speak to me at all. one time i was in the middle of ordering and the employee turned around to do something else as i was talking, and on top of that did not even greet me or ask ‘what can i get for you?’ when i walked up. she just stared at me. i’ve really tried to brush it off, but after the 4th i just am deciding i will never return.
