In the historic center of Stradella, in an old building with a 1927 sign, we enjoyed tagliatelle with mushrooms, a delicious Milanese cutlet, and a unique chocolate-baked pear dessert, all accompanied by a good Bonarda. The owner was friendly and helpful, as were the staff. The historic center and the accordion museum, which is inexplicably closed on Sundays, are worth a visit. Then, take a stroll around Casteggio, which is very interesting.

We stopped here on our way from Dolomites to France for lunch with our kido. Such a nice experience! The meat (beef steak and lamb)was sooo good that our son even did not finish his fries which he always asks. We have visited lot of posh restaurants in Dolomites and this was definately top quality! At first glance we were not sure whether it is not too posh, but we felt comfortable with the kid. Staff was super attentive, prices low when you compare what you get. If you have a chance, go there!

A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Stradella. Very well-appointed, from the decor to the service. The menu is good, varied, and the meat dishes are excellent. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The price is reasonable for what you get.

If you consider the evaluation criteria applied to the restaurant's price level, the consistent award of five stars is appropriate and justified. The exceptionally good or very good quality of the ingredients used is particularly commendable. The only fish on the extensive menu (turbot, €15.00) was unfortunately only available in foil and filleted at the table. The fillet (€23.00), exceptional for the quality of the meat, was also absolutely convincing. The fact that the kitchen even offered a greeting for a cover charge of just €2.50 per person was particularly surprising and pleasant. Despite so much well-deserved praise, one criticism must be allowed: the service (with the restaurant fully booked) unfortunately did not seem perfect. The two very friendly and charming waitresses did their best, but the chef de rang, with his taciturn and surly demeanor (even after a 10% = €10 tip), detracted from the overall feeling of well-being during our visit to this restaurant. It's a real shame. However, next time I'm in Stradella, I'll gladly return to this restaurant, and perhaps the chef de rang will have read my criticisms and try to raise a smile next time.

A truly elegant restaurant, but still not "posh." My boyfriend and I had a truly wonderful meal; the food was excellent, with unique flavors that were not at all boring. The staff was very polite and friendly! The prices were fair for a place like this. I'll gladly return!

Piccolo ristorante in quel di Stradella, locale molto curato e personale disponibile, rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo veramente! Consiglio vivamente

Tutto molto buono e posticino molto accogliente e raffinato. Ideale per le coppie. Personale molto ospitale e diaponibile. Unica pecca è il costo, ma almeno una volta da provare. Antipasto, secondo, acqua, dolce e caffè: 45 €

Pranzo di coppia. Mia moglie inizia con un antipasto di verdure grigliate e Tomino caldo e io una caponata di verdure con pinoli e burrata, proseguiamo con un piatto di gnocchi con ragù di chianina e un filetto di manzo al pepe verde con contorno di patatine fritte, tutto accompagnato da una bottiglia di montefalco rosso, per finire due ottimi dolci con un bicchiere di passito. Carne veramente di alta qualità. Servizio ottimo con la ragazza molto gentile e mai invadente. Pranzo in linea con la tipologia del locale €80 in due con bottiglia di vino

The restaurant is elegant and suitable for a business dinner or an intimate evening. The staff is helpful, friendly, and quick. The appetizers are good, especially the pot-cooked onion and the veal tartare. The rib-eye steak was sinewy and a bit fatty; I didn't like it (but that's a matter of personal taste), so I recommend ordering something else. Prices are medium to high, more justified by the quality of the restaurant than the quality of the food.

Umbrian cuisine restaurant with a classically elegant atmosphere, distinguished by heavily framed 19th-century paintings. The cuisine is overall good and carefully prepared, with special mention for the pasta dishes with Apennine black truffle and the excellent fossa cheeses. The pork arrosticini and lamb are delicious. Only 3 stars because there are restaurants in the area that offer better meats (Chianina and South Tyrolean) at lower prices, or the quality and ambience far outweigh the price difference. I won't comment on the extensive wine list, as I'm not an expert on Umbrian wines.
