Was most disappointed after some of the reviews as our pizzas were amongst the blandest tasting that we’ve ever had . There is also an added service charge of €2.5 each which is a bit much when you have to ask for pepper and chilli oil . When you complete the payment they just walk off not even a thank you. We were sorry we were too lazy to walk into the town after visiting this place

Having eaten here three times in three months I'm amazed at how bad it has become. Maybe it is because lots of restaurants were closed and they became very busy? Or maybe it is because of the TERRIBLE attitude of the"manager", a middle aged man with a pony tail who virtually spits at you when you arrive and when you leave! Such a shame as the pizzas are really good. After our first visit, we recommended lots of friends to go there and they were all disappointed. One said that they were so rude, they would never return. Very embarrassing for us. Needless to say, lots of other places have reopened so pick somewhere else to eat!

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star — only because zero isn’t allowed) ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!!! The owner loudly and mockingly pretended to speak Chinese… not the actual language, just a crude and disrespectful imitation while looking directly at a group of Asian tourists. It was blatantly racist and aggressive. The group walked away without engaging, but that kind of conduct should never be tolerated. In a beautiful city like Stresa, that thrives on tourism, this restaurant should understand that it survives thanks to visitors who come to appreciate the culture, food, and hospitality. Treating guests with mockery and disrespect is not only disgraceful, it damages the reputation of the city as a whole. The food was unremarkable, and the behavior left us with a bitter taste. There are plenty of wonderful places in Stresa. Avoid this place. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Rip off for tourists! We live in Stresa and were charged €2,50 each for coperto (€5). We sat at a table near some Italian friends... they were not charged the coperto at all. Clearly, if you are local and Italian, you get a deal. If you are not Italian, you get to pay extra. The food was so-so. Really nice pizza crust, but the mozzarella was tasteless.

I thought it was almost impossible to get bad food, especially pasta in Italy. Unfortunately I was taught otherwise when I visited this restaurant. My girlfriend's pasta (Spaghetti vongole) was extremely bland. The spaghetti weren't fresh and neither were the mussels. I don't care if their pizza is good. When they put something on the menu but don't bother trying to make it tasty why put it on the menu in the first place? My cotoletta milanese consisted of three tiny pieces of meat (around 80g) in total. The surface was slimy from the soggy flour. There was also no rucola and no tomatoes as stated in the menu. I will obviously never go there again and I advise against taking anything else than pizza. The service was ok. Prices are rather high but given the low quality of the food they are outrageous.
