It was my boyfriend and I's first time here, and the food was DELICIOUS. We ordered the dahi bhalla (so refreshing), the chole bhatura (I understand why it's a bestseller), and the chicken tikka masala with garlic naan (we had to save some to eat later). Definitely will be going back.

Had a weekday dinner night with my family. This was our first time at Renu’s kitchen and the experience was excellent. The host was extremely friendly and professional, he guided us as to what people usually like and the choice was spot on. My favorite was the chole bhature. My family also liked the paneer tikka masala, kids loved the pasta with butter chicken and dahi bhalle. It was a unique experience. And the best part is unlike other outside eating experience, the food did not feel heavy and unhealthy

Very delicious food! Had the samosa and Dani Puri (pictured below). The owner is very welcoming and the place is very clean. Everything is made fresh in this mom and pop restaurant. So keep in mind, it will be a longer wait time (since it’s fresh) but i think it is worth it. Also, had to order Chicken tikka curry, paratha and garlic naan to go. The food was very flavorful. Will come back to try the other menu items

The chaats are so good literally gone in my stomach in 10 seconds. That’s how good it is, the choke bottire and money items are also really good because they are New Delhi style. This new experience has now become my new favorite restaurant. The owners are super friendly. Just go try it and you will see

Found them through a Google search. Wanted to have some masala chai and some snacks and walked in and discovered a gem. Every item we had was delicious and fresh. We had samosa (excellent), masala fries (some of the best I’ve ever had), gujhiya also was amazing. The papdi chaat also was excellent. Our son had the mango lassi which he really enjoyed. We liked the food so much took some butter chicken pasta to go. Will definitely go back and cater from them. Inder (the owner) was great! Highly recommended!

What a delightful experience From the warm welcome to the final spoonful of dessert, everything was wonderful. We started with the samosa chaat — crisp, flavorful and addictive. For mains we tried chole bhature the spice level was just perfect for us (medium hot), and the portion sizes were generous. The service stood out as well was attentive, offered helpful suggestions and made us feel right at home. The ambiance is cozy, with soft lighting and tasteful decor, making it great for a relaxed dinner. We’ll definitely be back and will bring friends! My wife had eaten here before, but this was my first time. I was reluctant to go, but I'm glad I did. The eating area is very small, about 5 tables. The food however was pretty good. I'm not familiar with Indian food at all so my wife asked for recommendations. The owner, who was very nice and helpful, gave us a suggestion so I rolled with it. Our food was made fresh on the spot, so the wait was a little longer, but definitely worth it. It was Chicken Tikka with buttered rice(can't remember the actual name) and Flat Bread. My wife order also, but unfortunately, I don't know the entree name. Hers was made fresh as well and looked very tasty. The portions were good sized, very filling and well seasoned. I was very pleased with my meal and would definitely go back. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. It's in a strip center, so there's plenty of parking. If you're craving a well prepared, freshly cooked meal with good service, I'd definitely give this place a try if you're in the Sugar Land area.

Discovered this place after visiting the temple and it was a perfect choice! The owner was helpful with recommendations as it was our first time at Renu's. Don't be fooled by the limited menu because everything they make is outstanding. My best friend and I happily cleaned our plates! We had the aloo tikki, chole bhture, dahi bhalla, and a gujiya along with a mango lassi. Didn't take a lot of photos because we were busy eating!

This place is a hidden gem in Sugarland. We absolutely loved the food here, trying it for the first time. We ordered the Dahi Bhalla, Aloo Tikki, Chole Bhature, and Gujiya. All of the food was exceptional and made fresh. The cilantro & tamarind chutneys were really flavorful and paired well with the Aloo Tikki. The mango lassi was also no sugar, made with pure mango puree and yogurt. The owner was really friendly and explained everything to us thoroughly. This family owned restaurant is truly a must-try! Me and my best friend enjoyed this restaurant!

This is one of the best Indian food places in Sugar Land/Missouri City! The owner was amazing and is definitely passionate about his dishes. The food was made from scratch by his wife and was fresh, family owned aswell! Food, environment and service definitely amazing. I was in this area to try an Indian buffet for lunch. They closed their buffet early, so I ended up trying this place based on the reviews on Google. Inder explained to me what dishes are popular at this place. He also told me that his wife personally cooks all the food to order. Since everything is prepared to order, it takes time. But the wait was definitely worth it. The butter chicken was outstanding and so was the dal makhani. I will rate this the best dal makhani I had in US! If you love dal makhani, you should definitely give this place a try. The chole was authentic Delhi style chole and the flavors were spot on. The goat curry was good. I will definitely be visiting this place again and highly recommend it!

We had an amazing first visit to Renu’s Kitchen! We ordered the chole bhature, butter chicken, and garlic naan—and everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The butter chicken was rich and perfectly spiced, the naan was warm and garlicky, and the chole bhature was a standout. We also really enjoyed sitting out on the patio—it was a great atmosphere. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian food.

Tasted just like home! The chole bhature were spot on—fluffy, flavorful, and satisfying and so was dahi bhalle which was perfectly spiced. This place brought back so many cozy food memories. Update March 9th 2025 We tried this place again - Papri chat and Aloo Tiki. Really good. Will try more things next time Finally got to try Renu's Kitchen. Have been seeing reviews for the best Chole Batture in Houston. We had Chole Batture and Papdi Chat which met the high expectations set by other reviews. Some of the best we have had after coming to the US. It is a small place, mainly geared towards takeout. However, Inder makes up for it with his service and conversation. We went just before their closing time but we did not feel rushed and thoroughly enjoyed the food. Everyone should try this place once. We will be back. Hoping for Inder and Renu to grow their business
