This Sugarland location is wonderful!! It was on a Sunday, and I expected it to be packed. Only 2 people were dining in. I loved zaxbys ever since I lived in GA... So I took my roommate, it was her first time trying it. She loved it. She and I was impressed how professional the employees were. I got fried pickles, the cobb salad and insane hot wings, which are the hottest ones. There's alot of things that aren't hot to me, and these cleared my sinuses. The flavor is the best. I could eat 100 of them. Too bad there isn't a challenge. Anyways... give them a try... you won't be disappointed... the food and service is A+.

Zaxby’s is always really good and the food was fresh and hot. The chicken and fries were so good and everything came out fast. Jess was really nice and made the place feel welcoming. She was patient and made sure the order was right, which I appreciated. Overall it was a really good experience and I’d definitely come back.
Jessica was my cashier she was very welcoming and gave great service. The entire team that day were very high energy, which I appreciated. I ordered my chicken and fries well done, and the guy cooking came out to verify that was exactly what I requested. Then he did just that! It’s odd to receive such good service in the food industry to me these days, but I was absolutely proud of the team working on 1/5/26 during the 5 o’clock hour.

This place was a fairly good place. The place was probably one of the best chicken tasting places. The people surviving us were so nice. The only thing that kept this from being a 5 Stars was the constant loud beeping. I don't think that happens every day but it was very disturbing.👍

First time here. Food was just meh. Wings were cold. The front staff seemed to have a tough time with orders even though there weren’t lots of people. They couldn’t tell what I ordered. Place is clean though. Spicy sauce wasn’t really spicy. Kids didn’t even like their grilled cheese. Seemed to be a butter overload and the tenders were just ok.

I was very disappointed. The staff were not very friendly, to say it was 11:00 A.M., and they were not busy at all. I ordered the Wings and Things, but the wings looked like toothpicks and were overcooked. I was also given a tablespoon of fries. This meal was not worth the cost at all. The establishment was nice, overall, however, the area near the drinks, the counter and the floor was so sticky.

Honestly, I wish I would have stayed in bed. The worst late night snack ever. This food was trashtastic and they didn’t even give me the cookies I ordered. Going to bed with a stomach ache. Damn sprinkle in my shake! 😩
By far the worst zaxby's I've experienced! This is my 3rd and last time. It's always an issue. System down, always gotta wait, don't have wings. My goodness get it together!
I’m highly disappointed. Firstly, I ordered about 15 minutes ahead of time only to wait another 20 for my food once I got there. Not only did I have to wait an absurd amount of time, once I got my food it was the wrong order and highly over salted. Once I went to return the food and get my actual order, the workers didn’t even apologize and instead joked around with each other. Very terrible experience
Tried Zaxby's for the first time today after my husband saw a commercial for the "giant" quesadillas. Ordered 2 chicken bacon ranch quesadilla meals and 2 of the same quesadillas by themselves. Was asked to pull forward to wait, there were no guests inside and there was no one infront of me. Twenty minutes and $40 later our food was brought out, it was COLD and several triangles only had a few pieces of chicken. Not worth the price at all, so disappointed. Will not be back.
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely awful. When placing my order and at the pickup window, the employees were using profanity and behaving very unprofessionally. It made the entire experience uncomfortable and unpleasant. I would never come here again definitely not a place I’d feel comfortable bringing my family or even going alone.
I met a friend after doing my morning run at this location for lunch around 12pm on 10/12/25 — it wasn’t busy and the staff was super nice. I don’t have anything negative to say about to staff in particular. This complaint is about the salad/zalad i ordered which was a House Zalad — after eating i went straight home and took a nap, woke up w/ a fever of 102 degrees — i’m not sure how the salad’s are prepped but i know was for sure that the salad gave me food poisoning — i hadn’t ate anything that morning but a muffin. Please make sure that the lettuce is not BROWN/OLD looking/GRILLED CHICKEN IS COOKED ON A CLEAN STOVE before serving food to customers. Thank you.
This breaks my spirit to even articulate in words the hurt and mistreatment I experienced at my very last time being a customer and consumer at Zaxby’s. I am a long time customer and was a very avid fan of zaxby’s restaurant before my final visit at the establishment. So much that I would drive over 45 minutes out of the way just to grasp that tasty chicken, but this last time was my very last time no matter how good the food is I will not return to a place that treats its guests so poorly. Not only did I drive about 50 minutes to get to zaxby’s and wait in the line and order once I got to the window I was told that there was no way they could break a $100 bill. Although I ordered over $30 worth of food after speaking with the employees at the window I said fine I’ll go and find change because I really wanted to enjoy this meal. So I drove around for 30 minutes on top of the 50 minutes that it took me to get there and I was still very excited because I knew it would be all worth it because I would be able to eat my favorite chicken strip place. Or so I thought. Once I returned to Zaxby’s there was a new person taking orders at the window when I got back in line to order my food. DEVIN! Who seemed to be possessed by the devil. As I began my order she began to cut me off, over talk me, yell, and even treat me as if I was incapable of placing an order. The same exact order that I had just placed perfectly fine 25-30 minutes before with Angie. Devin treated me with disrespect and disregard, so much that it just ate at my spirit. I didn’t want to write this review, but after almost a month later it’s still bothering me. I think about how she treated me each and every day since. When I arrived at the window I politely asked to speak with her where she continued to downplay my concerns as a customer for her behavior. She told me that she was sorry that I feel that way about the way she intentionally made me feel. I kept calm and asked for a manager after realizing that there would be no resolve to be had in continued discussion with Devin and she informed me that she was the manager and that there was no corporate that I could contact and that if I was that bothered that I should just have a cookie as a joke. Making me feel even lower than I had already felt. My kids were in the car and also my girlfriend, there were other employees nearby who all witnessed Devin treat me with disdain and dismay. I felt so crushed that I decided not to return. EVER. And to make matters worse, she put cookies in my bag to add further insult to injury. I tried to let it go, but even as I write this I still feel that same pain as if it was the very same day it happened. I just can’t believe that she would feel that it was okay to treat anyone like that, let alone a customer who visits frequently.
I recently visited Zaxby's at 1918 Wescott Ave in Sugar Land and was really disappointed. I ordered the Wings & Things Meal and a kids meal, but both plates barely had any fries—what a letdown! The tenders looked more like nuggets than the juicy pieces I expected. For what I paid, I felt like I got way less than I should have. It honestly looked like someone had already eaten part of my meal! To make things worse, the drinks from the machine were gross. I was hoping for a nice meal, but it turned out to be a big disappointment. Not worth the money at all. I won’t be coming back anytime soon!
We ordered online and asked for curbside pick up. We got there 5 mins early. I checked in. Our order was supposed to be ready at 8:27 pm. There was ZERO traffic inside. And one car in the drive thru. I waited til almost 8:40 and no one came out with our food. I pulled in thru the drive thru. We got our food. It was cold. We ordered a large fry with our meal (paid extra) and extra fries instead of cole slaw. There was hardly any fries. No Zaxby sauce. Our food had been sitting on the counter bagged up for who knows how long. This is the 2nd TERRIBLE experience I've had at this store.

Went through drive thru, the was ok JUST OK. Zaxbys is really hit or miss sometimes I go the food is really good, this night IT SUCKED. The fingers were cold, the fries were equally cold. The fingers just didn't taste the same for some reason. And I got the 6pcs, I let the lady know they were cold, the proceeds to give me more fingers EQUALLY COLD. I am writing to share a concerning experience regarding the management at your restaurant. After being asked to order via DoorDash while on-site, we were later told our order could not be fulfilled due to a system error at 2:30 PM. We were then pressured to cancel the order ourselves, which DoorDash blocked as the food was already in progress. The frustration was compounded when we observed other orders being handed out moments later. I hope you will look into these service inconsistencies to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.
