My fav Thai food!! Incredibly tasty and flavorful food and closest to authentic Thai.

Delicious food; knowledgeable, friendly wait staff. Love this place!

We had a great time and ordered the red and yellow curries. Everything was great, quick, and staff were very kind.

Excellent authentic Thai food. Tom kha was absolutely delicious. Red curry was a bit watery but good in taste and the drunkin noodles were super saucy and had a perfect balance between sweet and spicy. I’ll definitely be back here again and will recommend to others.

This is an awesome Thai restaurant right in my neighborhood. They make excellent versions of Thai restaurant classics and even some dishes that you don't normally find at other Thai restaurants. The staff is nice and hard working. I normally order to-go but I also enjoy dining in to experience dishes like Khao soi straight from the kitchen instead of from a takeout container. Both versions are great but you get to see how they want it to be served! High quality restaurant that I'll always support!

This restaurant is definitely a must-go. The food was very tasty, service speed was decent and the person serving us was friendly. One of the hidden gems in SGL for tasty Thai take. Definitely will visit again!

Stopped in for a quick lunch - will definitely return here when back in town. We both had Tom kha soup that was maybe the best I’ve had. I had drunken noodle, which is not something I always order, but would definitely order here again. Basil fried rice was the other meal - very tasty! The portions are generous and prepared well. Mango with sticky rice is my go to dessert and it was the perfect ending to lunch. It seems to be a bit of a hidden location in this center and there’s construction making it difficult to see from the road, but it is absolutely worth searching for when a really tasty Thai meal is what you want to eat.

Everything we’ve tried here has been absolutely delicious. Their pad Thai is hands down the best! I’ve eaten at just about every Thai spot in town—and even out of town—and nothing compares to Thai Square. The decor is simple, nothing flashy, but let’s be real… you’re here for the food. And it’s incredible. Go try it for yourself—you won’t be disappointed.

Thai Square is a hidden gem in Sugar Land! The food is absolutely incredible, so authentic and full with flavor. The owners are the kindest, most welcoming people you'll meet, and their genuine hospitality makes you feel right at home.

Amazing! I had the Tom Yum soup and Drunken Noodle with pork. Both were outstanding. The pork was crazy tender. I ordered it spicy and by god, it was! If you like spicy but not crazy hot like me, I’d advise getting level 2 spice. I’ll regret full spicy tomorrow morning but right now it’s euphoric!

Delicious! Just happened to be passing by and stopped to take a peek inside. It wasn't busy, the smells were enticing, and I was given a warm and friendly welcome so I decided to give it a try. Delicious! Food was perfect, appetizer was so good, I ordered another. I had Pad See Ew for my entree and medium spicy was exactly what I was hoping for - just enough heat without masking any of the flavors. Noodles were perfect, veggies well cooked, but still crisp. Highly recommend!

Boom Chucky chow WOW!! Great food!!!!!! Incredible service. Spicy beef salad for the win! And let me tell you- they go all out if you ask for spicy!

The food here is out of the place. Me and my husband recently moved to Richmond and wanted to try this place for date night. I am a vegetarian and don’t even eat egg so I was super skeptical about trying it. The food is soo awesome and the flavors are soo clean and the spice if fresh…

No notes, food is really good, reasonably priced, staff are really friendly and helpful, ambience is wonderful as well, best Thai food I've ever had in my life. I get takeout at least once a month and dine in often.

Our family’s favorite place we have been visiting for more than 2 years but surprisingly I missed giving a review. Personally love their Tom Yum & Tom Kha soup , Chicken Satay, green red and yellow curry , drunken noodles & pineapple rice. The owner May is very sweet . Highly recommend this local Thai food restaurant.

The place is clean and welcoming and service is amazing. The owners check in regularly and they are kind people. I drink a lot of water with food and I got refills without ever having to ask. Now the best part is their food! Tom Kha is so flavorful and it had a nice tangy kick to it would def recommend first timers to try it. Also I don’t eat spicy so I chose 0 for my spice level for their range 0-5. Overall an excellent place and my fav. Thai place in town.

This place is amazing. The coworkers are nice, great food choices, and when we went there there were no people. The only thing is that they only have 2 deserts (don't get me wrong it was great) but I would like it if they had more. I am definitely coming back and that's why I give this place 5 Stars.

Great food with affordable prices. Service and ambience were excellent! Visited again yesterday. Excellent food. We ordered Spicy Fish. Comes with Thai sauce and steamed rice. Good portion - enough for two.

Don't let the sparse decor in this newly opened restaurant fool you. These people know their Thai food! They've been open maybe six days, so give them time to find their "vibe." The crew of four are originally from Thailand but are very recent California transplants from Cupertino. The co-owner, May, planned to visit three states in their search for a new location. The second was Texas. She narrowed it down to Sugar Land and stopped! (Sorry North Carolina!) The heat and humidity don't faze them - it's similar to Thailand's weather. Judging by comments from our community's private Facebook page, we are so happy they're here! Now, about the food. I had read that they charged extra for rice that does not come with dinner dishes like the currys. That sounded crazy to me as I always ordered curry that came with rice. I asked May why. She explained that it's a common practice in California that she was recently told isn't a "Texas thang." To not charge for rice now, they would have to adjust the new prices to absorb the cost of the premium rice they purchase. (No Costco rice for them - there IS a difference!) But, a flyer just went out with menu prices and it would be unseemly to start changing prices so soon. *** UPDATE!!! White rice is now complimentary with dishes that are normally served with rice!!! Thank you, May! *** They have only lived in Texas two months and there is a lot to learn about this state, so I can't be mad about that. We ordered the appetizer Spicy Chicken Wings, Larb Gai and Shrimp Pad Thai. The larb came out first. Wings take longer and came out shortly after. If you really want the wings first, you can specifically request it. I prefer the fried Garlic Basil Wings at Pho Shack in the same strip center, but my husband liked these better. They are meaty and have a delicious chili sauce on them. The sauce is house-made and ground FIVE times! The larb was a good portion and delicious. The leftovers will be mighty tasty in a tossed salad, wrap or fried rice. My husband had Shrimp Pad Thai - that's how he decides whether to come back or not. We're coming back! The vibrant orchid blossoms on a couple of our dishes are not plastic or silk - they're real and added that exotic touch. A good habit May brought from California is recycling. This is the rare local restaurant that has a dedicated recycling bin in the kitchen! May, train more help because you're gonna need 'em!

Best Thai food in Houston (in my opinion) Before you read!!! This place is super crowded at peak hours for dinner, so I recommend coming early or later for better service. Great, flavorful, and tasty food Service was amazing (very nice servers) The atmosphere was nothing short of amazing - well decorated store with a good feeling I tried the chicken wing as a change, and to my surprise, it was the best wing I have ever had! 5/5 stars ⭐ (will come again)

Located in Sugar Land of US 90 ALT. Next to Smoothie King is in a little strip mall that seems to be empty. The restaurant and the menu is very clean. The server is nice. The food are excellent. If you pick a spicy dish, you can choose how spicy you like from 1-5. Today is a bit chilly and I ordered Shrimp Tom Yum soup and it warm me right up with the right amount of spiciness. I love the Thai ice coffee and the roti dip is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Definitely will go back.

Thai Square is one of our favorite local spots! The husband-and-wife team who run it are always so friendly and welcoming—they know us and our kids by name, and the wife even remembers our order by heart. It feels more like visiting family than just going out to eat. The food is consistently tasty, and the warm atmosphere keeps us coming back again and again.

Halal beef & Halal chicken, however pork is served at this location, plz look at the menu carefully, good service, lovely ambience, be wary of cross contamination knocked off 1 star due to hair in the fish, they replaced the fish, free of charge.

Ordered chicken basil fried rice. Quoting Uncle Roger: "This rice looks so wet. You can see your reflection inside. Mulan is going to start singing if she sees this rice." Taste was good though, would've been perfect if it wasn't so wet. Otherwise, the restaurant overall is quite authentic; I would come back and try other items even though service was minimal and the floor was a bit sticky.

Visiting this place today. Small, cozy restaurant. Simple decor. Since they just opened 3 wks, so seems not have full staff yet. Food is good, good price. Love all dishes that we tried. Will be back to try other dishes.

Good quality Thai food with different levels of spice (just tell them the level you want) The quality versus the price is amazing. The service was above the norm as all server's waited on you as if you matter. It was nice and you should stop by cause it won't disappoint.

Went with coworkers for the first time due to the recommendation of a client. Though service was great the place was a bit hot and humid. Noticed multiple fans running and didn’t seem likely the wall mounted AC unit was blowing cold enough air. Anyways, the food was good but not great compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been too. I would still recommend them just don’t think I will personally return.

Ive been here several times for lunch but I’m just getting around to reviewing it. I like Thai Square. The quality of the food is very consistent and flavorful. I have had several dishes here over my several visits. I’m a spicy guy, so everything I get at any That restaurant is going to be max heat. With that being said, I haven’t had anything here that was unbearable but some dishes have been very spicy. My last visit , I had the Pumpkin Curry with shrimp. It was very good and full of flavor. I really enjoyed it. The service is very straightforward. One thing I try to do at restaurants when I go is ask for recommended dishes, even if I’m very familiar with the cuisine. This is one constructive criticism I have for the staff here. I’ve asked and was just told, order whatever I like. While, I am very familiar with Thai food and what I like, a person new to the cuisine or restaurant may not have the confidence to just choose what they like or may not even know what they like. While this is not a huge deal, it is an area for improvement that I saw. In contrast with some other Thai establishments in the area that have been more customer focused when it comes to inquiries about the menu. The ambiance is casual and relaxed. I have never had to wait long for my food and I will continue to return in the future.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. It doesn't look like much, but the food is good. They can make your dish gluten free if you ask. We will definitely go back to try other menu items. The place was empty when we visited, but they were doing a pretty brisk takeout business.

We visited for lunch and it was not busy at all. The food was great. We had the Basil Fried Rice and the Drunken noodles. Both tasted awesome. We asked for spicy level four and it was a delight. They had several carry out orders going out through the time we were at the restaurant. It was neat as well. Location is off Alt 90 and Grand parkway.

I have loved this place for years. It has been so consistent with amazing flavor and quality. I usually get the massaman chicken. Love the onions, spices, peanuts, and the way the chicken is prepared. However, when I ordered it today, the chicken was different, there were missing ingredients that I had come to expect and enjoy, and I found the flavor lacking. After years of ordering from them, it made me wonder if they are under new management? It made me not want to order from them again if this is the new standard :( I hope it was a one time experience!

K

This place use to be bar none best thai in this area. Very consistently good for last 2 years. But maybe they changed management or something cuz they've gone down hill to average. The pad thai has very little chicken and the tofu taste sour like it's past its prime. I do not recommend this place over other thai places anymore.

I ordered beef pad thai with meduum spice. The beef was super tough and bland. And the actual sauce tasted like straight cayenne and crushed pepper, not authentic. As foremwnentioned, [ ordrred beef, but found large naaty chunks of tofu.

Food quality is not good. Thai curry, fish, tom Kha gai soup and fresh summer rolls, all were sub par. We won’t be eating here again.
