Pollo Tropical in Sunny Isles Beach receives mixed reviews. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, especially Elizabeth and a senior staff member who assists Spanish speakers. However, some complain about slow service and overcooked, dry chicken.
Tip: Some reviewers had issues with overcooked chicken, so it may be worth checking your order before leaving.
Tasty food for a good price! Portions are just right, not too much but enough. Would definitely recommend! My parents did not really like their plates though but my wrap was just right and kids were happy
Great quality and tasty food! I always order a side of the fried yuca and never disappointed. Excellent and fast service!
This place is a savior when I feel too lazy to cook. Chicken plate with rice and beans and the garlic sauce are always the best option. Only around $20 with a drink and you dont need to wait long. Plenty of parking though it might get busy sometimes. They have a drive through too.
I really like tropical chicken food, but without a doubt, this is the best tropical chicken in the United States, in addition to cooking super well, you will feel as if you were in a gourmet restaurant with the attention of Mrs. Minerva. My congratulations!!!
I’ve been coming to this location for many years and have seen a slow decline in food, customer experience, and quality control. Today I decided to give it a shot after a long break and I’m glad I did. Upon entering this heavily trafficked pollo I instantly realized how clean and organized the eating area was. My dealing with manager Joel at the register was amazing, you can tell he takes pride in his craft. My order was for two with multiple sides and was ready in less than 5 minutes, well packed, and fresh. I never leave reviews but I felt this was well deserved.
Suyen was great in helping us out! Initially the order we received was wrong and she helped us seamlessly. This definitely helped to make our day and keeps us coming back! Thank you Suyen! Your professionalism and interpersonal skills are excellent!
Food is so good. Staff is nice and the place is always clean. A lifetime customer. 😍
Merlande provided exceptional service during my recent visit to Pollo Tropical. Her warm demeanor and attention to detail made my experience truly delightful. She went above and beyond to ensure that my order was accurate and that I felt welcome. I highly commend her professionalism and friendliness. Thank you, Merlande, for making my visit memorable
I recently visited this Pollo Tropical restaurant and overall, it was a decent experience. The restaurant is easy to find and well-located, making it a convenient spot for a quick and casual meal while in Sunny Isles Beach. The atmosphere is casual and tropical, with bright and cheerful decor. The menu at Pollo Tropical is extensive and offers a variety of options, including chicken, pork, sandwiches and salads. I particularly enjoyed the chicken, which was cooked to perfection. The sides were also good, like the yuca and the plantains. I myself got the chicken bowl, with rice and beans. The service at Pollo Tropical was friendly and attentive, and the staff was more than happy to make recommendations or accommodate any dietary restrictions. Prices are also very reasonable, making it a great option for a casual lunch or dinner. I just came from pollo tropical the lady that speaks English with green eyes and blonde hair was very nice and suggestive in the food. It was my first time here the food is delicious and service was great. I will be coming back here again when I’m in town again.
My experience was very great not your regular day base pollo and the worker named wildiana is very sweet and sets a very good example for pollo
Delighted with the very nice and quiet place, the delicious and fresh food. The black-haired manager was an excellent person, very kind and attentive, he suggested an incredible lunch. Grateful for the good customer service, I will come back many times, 100% recommended.
The food always hits, and the workers are always so kind. They make me feel like we’re family. The food is so good and at an amazing price.
The server was very attentive and spoke fluent English and good at upselling . The food was delicious. All meat was very tender and juicy and not over dried and nor flavorless. Thanks Pollo tropical 😋
This Pollo tropical was so clean and all the employees were so nice and friendly. The food was amazing. The manager Suyen was so helpful when I was placing my order her costumer service was great. 5 stars for this Pollo Tropical!!!
Luz Maria you are such a great manager. Thank you for your service.
The chicken was very well cooked and wasn’t dry at all. The workers there treat everyone with respect. Everytime I go there’s someone cleaning the salon. They always make sure the place is very clean
I love the quality of the food at this particular location of Pollo Tropical and service is exceptional. Great Management!
I don't know about atmosphere, because I went drive through
Hi, I would like to take the time out to say thanks to Suyen, for her outstanding work. Her dedication and attention to detail and commitment to excellence does not go unnoticed. I had an issue with the food and I was complaining to an employee. She overheard the conversation and acted quickly to resolve the issue. She played a vital and pivotal role in giving me a good experience and she should be recognized for her role because customer service does go a long way towards making a business more successful.I hope the way she handled the situation sets a high standard for others to follow. I felt the need to acknowledge her. You have no idea how great of a positive impression she have left me with. She went above and beyond, her professionalism and approach says alot. She is definitely different and makes a huge difference. Thanks again for creating such a wonderful experience!!
Delicious food and the best service in the area.
Claudia and Mrlande are good honestly. Charles is a rapid cashier
I love coming to this pollo Tropical location. The team is always welcoming and makes me feel like a valued guest.
I’ve been dinning at this location for a couple of years now and I still love how convenient and fast it is to receive your order. Pollo tropical made a great decision when they decided to have the restaurant open till midnight. Great food. #Blue
We’ve been coming here only for Ronnie. He gives us the best service takes care of us. Make sure that we’re happy always comes around and ask us how the food is. I recommend him highly anywhere he goes. Will be a very great manager.
First time here and it was pretty good. The portion sizes are good . The food is fresh and prepared quickly.
Came through the drive thru last night and I have to say; I was impacted by how fast it is and food is hot and fresh. 10 of 10 service! 👌🏾
I love this location. Food is delicious and the team is amazing!!!
Happy with the service I received from Sujey and Rosa today. You guys are awesome!!!
The manager Yoselin was so nice, she's always smiling, my meal was perfect. ❤️🩹
I had an issue with my order and the next day the manager Elizabeth Lidia fixed the problem. Best Pollo Tropical in South Florida
I recently visited, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly, and service was fast despite the restaurant being busy. The food was well prepared and fresh. I’ll definitely be back to this location!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I just had a fantastic experience at this location today, Thanks to Sujey I believe she says she is the assistant manager. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me and my family with a warm smile and made sure the dining area were organized and welcoming. Her attention to detail and professionalism truly stood out. We are definitely be coming back.
Love coming to this location. Very friendly staff and clean to have a sit down meal.
I have been coming to this location for 7 years now and I have to say that this location is always clean and food is delicious. Service is 10 of 10 as well.
If you live in Sunny Isles and you want a good inexpensive meal Pollo Tropical fits the bill.
The foods amazing, I went and had great costumer service and I left full and content.
I was really hungry and overall best decision I made coming to pollo the food was hot and the quarter chicken was very juicy. Excellent staff although it was busy today the brown skin girl with the braids was very helpful. Would definitely come back for the dessert
the food is the best ! the workers are super sweet and kind with others ,always very polite and helpful. I also always get my food under 5 mins exactly how i ordered it.no mistakes ever made .overall love coming to this pollo tropical because in the other ones the people are mean and have no type of manners.
Great service, fast and reliable and good attitude and the manager Suyen is very nice, caring and attentive with great customer service 2620
I’ve been going with my family to this location for years, and the quality never changes. Food is always fresh and served quickly. Great management!!!
Hi, this was my first time coming to pollo although it was very busy today but the food came pretty fast and hot. I tried the quarter chicken and it was very juicy. The cashier Rihanna was very nice and very helpful. Would definitely come back.
I truly felt well taken care of, as she handled everything with professionalism and respect. Yoselin’s positive attitude and dedication really make a difference. Thank you so much for your excellent support
My order was a 1/4 chicken meal, the chicken was juicy and well done how I ask, the manager Yoselin gave me a really good service thank you so much.
Great food as always. Big store in a busy section of town and a busy plaza. Plenty of parking lot.
Amazing experience at Pollo Tropical! The staff was incredible—there was a small mistake with my order, but they fixed it immediately without any hassle, and even gave me fries. Great customer service, friendly team, and such a positive vibe. Love the team and love this place. I’ll definitely be back!
I work in the area and have been coming to this location for over a decade. The food is always great as is the service. I would especially like to commend Manager Suyen. She is always professional and seeks to appease even the most challenging customers. I've seen her deal with a belligerent customer yet maintain her composure and do everything reasonable to rectify the customer's issue. This is a very well run store.
I love eating at Pollo—it’s fast, tasty, and this location is always quick with service. The young lady who helped me, I believe her name was Wildiana, was very kind and provided excellent customer service. I was surprised to hear she had just started working there because she handled everything so well. Overall, great service and friendly employees at this location!
“I had a great experience at Pollo Tropical! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. The grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the sides tasted homemade—especially the black beans and rice. The staff was friendly and made sure my order was correct, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. Portion sizes were generous for the price, and I really appreciate the variety of healthy options on the menu. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a quick but delicious meal.”
In general I can say that my experience as a customer at Pollo was incredible my food was so good just like if my momma did it and the manager took the time to take care of me. Thanks Pollo Tropical <3
Pollo is one of my fav places to eat! Not all locations are the best but this location is one of the good ones! Customer service is great here! Young lady name Widiana was so sweet and kind. I was actually shocked when she told me she just started there! I would have never noticed because the way she handled me with care! Keep up the good service , we the customers appreciate it!
Great food, ordered a couple of times. But what's the point in choosing sauce while ordering, if you are not gonna put them anyway. First time they put at least one. Today there was no sauce at all. Number of order was 26407988272283648. Put sausec as separate items in menu perhaps?
I don’t know why, but I don’t love the food in this specific location. I like Pollo Tropical in general.
I got the two types of salad, soup, and the cheese balls. I have to say that the salads were good, the soup not that much, but the service was also ok and relatively fast.
Pollo Tropical es un Sitio agradable para hacer una comida rápida tiene momentos en que la comida es buena otros Regular Pero en General es muy conveniente Relación precio Y atención...
Pollo Tropical is suffering from a lack of identity crisis, from a personable Yellow Chicken Mascot and interior that echoed a Caribbean welcoming theme to Bland, Dull, and unwelcoming transformation. Growing up eating this South Florida Staple it’s saddening to dine in at a branch after many years and experience what I did today. Small portions, $20 USD Per person, No Sauce /condiments Island. Hope pollo survives
Pollo estaba sobrecocinado y seco como se ve en la foto. Por favor para la próxima no lo sobrecocinen, se seca demasiado, pierde el jugo, sabor y gusto y ni lo quise terminar.
When I first entered this location, I was excited. I ordered my food and waited. The cashier was polite, but the wait was long. The workers mainly attended to online orders and the drive-thru (the drive-thru wasn't even busy, and they received only two online orders), meaning they were slow. The vast majority of the workers only speak Spanish, which made it difficult to get some sauces. When I saw my order, I couldn't wait to eat it. However, as soon as I finished eating, my stomach started hurting. The pain would diffuse and come back; it even worsened to the point where I could barely stand. Even more than an hour later, I still felt pain and discomfort. I genuinely wouldn't come back here. I've eaten at dozens of restaurants and other locations several times, and I've never experienced this. The food looked good but wasn't good after all.
I ordered online 2 bowls. Very simple, I get to the store and it said should be ready at 12:04. Mind you, the store only had 2 other customers. By 12:20 I still didn't have my order and the store got busy. I went to ask what happened to my order and basically was ignored. I had to ask 2 more times before I got my food. Again, a very simple order. Feels almost like they ignore the mobile orders until you go up to the counter and badger them for your food, then they start making it.
Take out. I got a missing yucas. I spent 30min on the phone and could not talk to anyone
The old woman cashier denied me a combo with chicken sandwich when I told her to look at menu she still said no it doesn’t come with a combo. And everyone in the kitchen and the manager ran to her defense like I was the bad guy. With all due respect if you don’t know the menu why work there? And if you don’t understand the system why work there? On top of that today when I said yacca with no cheese. She still got my order wrong. If you don’t believe me rewind the cameras and we can both watch it together. I would receive my order wrong 4/10 when she taking my order but today I really wanted what ordered. I shouldn’t have to fight to get my order correct. On top of that the mangers took her side like always. I never use to care if they gave me my order wrong. But like it’s exhausting having to order with her. On top of that she’s constantly calling the manger for help when she doesn’t understand something. You can get upset all you want guys. But you know I’m right. Like I’m not a difficult customer I just want what ask for. But all of you mangers and supervisors keep looking at my woman and I like we did something wrong. When in reality it’s the old lady who doesn’t know how to take orders or even listen for that matter. I’ve dealt with this issue and have been very patient but today was the final straw. She can get upset all she wants but if you don’t believe me look at the cameras. And if you don’t care, don’t get upset next time I see you. Also I ask the manager if he speaks English he said a little. You’re a manger but only know how to speak a little bit of English yeah ok… Guys get your house in order because there’s no reason to look at me with anger. I wouldn’t have written this review if you would of just apologized but instead you chose to be silently disrespectful by stating at us with anger.
Service or favor — that’s what they seem to think they’re doing for the customer. Very poor attitude, I waited more than 7 minutes in front of the register to place an order, and they just looked at me and kept doing their own things, or simply walked around pretending to be busy. The manager, Suray or Surey — something like that, not blonde but with light-colored hair — completely ignored people, not even a simple greeting, and she is honestly terrible at providing service. Or maybe she thinks she's doing people a favor. I’ve loved Pollo Tropical for over 15 years. And it wasn’t just me — there were three other people who were completely ignored by the manager. One lady and a delivery driver waited for over 25 minutes.
It wasn’t the best experience. The place seemed a bit dirty. Sauce all over the counters. The staff sounded like they don’t wanna be here anymore. The food looked nothing like the picture they advertised. Dry cold chicken. Caribbean soup was sour. Not at all thinking of coming back here.
The food great! The service bad, Only the cashier was friendly, the others were very grumpy, I asked for two sauces and they gave them to me reluctantly, I spent like 4 or 5 minutes in front trying to get someone's attention so I could ask for the sauces, and the place was empty (there was no excuse that they were busy)
Garlic cilantro is FULL of garlic, it’s spicy. Manager in red is just not welcoming and doesn’t put guests first.. food was good dinner roll was hard.
Went to try vieja ropa on tostones dish that's advertised on TV. Looked great on TV but meat was virtually tasteless, bland and very lacking in spices. I will not order it again as nd I won't recommend it to anyone.
Just got back from here and today that I'm disappointed would be an understatement. I came here for a free Veterans meal they give out every second Tuesday of the month. This was my first time going. A fellow veteran has been urging me to go, so I finally went. The place was pretty empty when I came in. I waited at the register for aput a minute before someone came to help me. First she get me a price until I said it to her again. Then, she did know how to put the code in, but told the them make the meal anyway whileshe figured it out. Because I was going to get a free meal, I decided to get a large drink. Here's where everything goes wrong. The drink cost $4. I paid it because I had to catch the bus back home and need something to drink. The food came very fast. So, I placed it inside of me backpack and heading to the restroom. The rest had only one toilet and it was occupied, so I walked out because my bus was coming. Just got home having sipped away my large drink I'm ready to eat now and when I opened my container, what I beheld was what I below to be the smallest price of chicken they could find. I understand that it was free, but show a veteran some love, please! This place was empty, so no need to save chicken for paying customers. I worked at Pollo TROPICAL and I've never cut a peice of meat this small. If I was paying I would be pissed! Just wish I had know because then I would have spent my $4 on another piece of chicken instead of on the drink which wasn't worth it. When life gives you lemon... So, I've just ended up put the chicken into the rice and making myself another meal. Hopefully, I'll have a better experience next month.
They gave me the food in 2 seconds and understand why. 17 dollars for this ropa vieja??? First time and last time at pollo tropical. Never again. I have never seen a portion so small….
I ask the window server if they had French fries and she said yes, I asked for medium, and she said that I can choose only small or large. I chose large. On the bill, it showed fried wedges for $5.39. Half of them were soggy and half of them were dried. The Caesar salad had more than 20 croutons. The dressing was loaded with mustard and the chicken was dry and very salty. I remember the days their Caesar dressing was amazing. I drove away not realizing I have been robed. I will NEVER again buy food from Pollo Tropical! The photos show the large amount of dries potato wedges and the tone of croutons in the Caesar salad.
Normally this place is half way tolerable. However, lately the employees here have made the ordering process and experience very unenjoyable. The fountain drink machine is always broken so we are forced to have the workers fill our drinks behind the counter in an already under staffed environment. 20 minute waits are now the norm. Watching the plate makers fill our plates with thrown utensils and many of times without plastic gloves is honestly troublesome to watch. The most uncaring demeanor I’ve seen in a Pollo Tropical. Skipped our number since they were out of our order and failed to tell us until we noticed people after us were receiving their order. No knives. Receipt paper empty in the process of a long line waiting. Demanded a refund after 30 minutes of waiting. Took 8 minutes to obtain the refund. Don’t come here. Manager was a mess also. Where is management? Line is 14 deep on a Sunday at 10:00pm. Utensil has sauce in it along with an array of other things.
Dont order online. You’ll only receive a partial order and have to go in and pick up the rest of your order because no one answers the phone when you try to call them. Also, when you ask for the $5 delivery fee you paid for your order to be delivered in it’s entirety, yet you had to go into the restaurant to pick up the rest of your order, no one in the store knows what to do. They tell you to call customer service which doesn’t answer the phone either. The customer service recording tells you to deal with the location directly if you’re calling about an issue with the delivery order. The manager also said I can keep my food, like I hadn’t paid for it and he was doing me a favor, even though I was never issued a refund for anything. Don’t place an online order until they can figure it out, unless you want to pay $5 for delivery plus tip, not receive all of your order, and still have to go into the store anyway to pick up your food after paying for the convenience of not having to leave your house when sick.
The worst service I've ever had in a restaurant, today is Friday August 29 7:30 pm
I ordered food and the service was so slow that I asked for refund my money. Chashier didn't know how to do it. Coworkers didn't know how to prepare the orders with organization and following them on screen. They erased orders never served or prepare again orders that were served. Manager all the time was telling them how to erase and follow the orders on the monitor screen. All workers told me that they are new, without experience and without receiving proper training by the company. At last, I got my refund ticket and left. Really, a bad experience and I do not recommend to anyone to go eating at this place.
"I visited this Pollo Tropical and was attended by a trainee who had a great attitude and was very polite. However, the trainer seemed frustrated and upset, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, I had two appreciation cards from a previous order issue, but they didn’t work when I tried to use them. The restaurant is in a great location and has a lot of potential, but it definitely needs better management and customer service. I hope to see improvements in the future!"
Worst pollo tropical ever, waiting in the drive-thru like for almost 20 min can't leave the line because of how the drive-thru is design. The service was crap. They have no communication skills whatsoever.
They always manage to mess up your order, I always order the same tropichop and it always has something extra or missing something. Today they did it again! They put beans in my rice but my order never said add beans. I get a lettuce & rice tropichop so imagine what it’s like to eat hot lettuce because they’re not careful and can’t read the ingredients.
Date: 11/20/24 Time: Approximately 2:35 PM Today, I entered the store to place an order. I walked up to the counter and stood in front of the register, waiting to be helped like any other customer. While waiting, three employees walked past me, made eye contact, and deliberately ignored me. One employee, who appeared sluggish and disinterested, glanced at me briefly before quickly looking away, giving the impression that she neither cared about her job nor assisting customers. Shortly after, a white customer approached the counter, and this same employee, who had walked past me multiple times without offering assistance, immediately went to serve them. It was clear that she prioritized their service over mine for no valid reason. A Black Haitian worker, who was busy in the back, noticed what was happening and gestured that he would help me shortly. However, even after this, the same unhelpful employee and the manager walked past me again without acknowledging me or offering assistance. The Haitian worker ultimately left what he was doing to take my order, showing professionalism that was completely absent in the others. As someone who rarely attributes experiences to race, I couldn’t help but notice the stark difference in treatment. I was ignored, while two white customers were assisted immediately before and after me. The Haitian worker later stated, "It's like that over here," further confirming that this behavior is not isolated. When I tried to address the situation with the manager, she dismissed my concerns entirely, showing no interest in resolving the issue. This left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. I’ve visited other locations and never experienced service as poor as this. I will not return to this store, as the atmosphere was unprofessional, discriminatory, and outright unacceptable.
Unseasoned, blandest food I've had in a long time. Not even some salt or pepper let alone the blends you'd expect from something serving south-american style food. Was a long hair cooked into the meat aswell, having to pull 10cm worth of hair out of my throat certainly did not improve the experience. No idea if it is just this location or the chain in general, regardless with the amount of alternative options for fritanga-like food in Miami do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.
Waited to be able to give our order everyone was in a backroom? Then the lady giving us our food was very rude and yelled at me when I requested barbecue sauce. My daughter then proceeded to ask for ketchup and was told there was none. Then someone else asked for ketchup and that person received their ketchup. The lemonade supposedly is fresh but I watched it get dumped out of a sealed gallon with a label to a different company and it was disgusting.
Horrible service, I ordered 2 chicken soup I mentioned that I wanted corn in it and it didn’t have any, I thought I ordered chicken soup not garlic soup honestly horrible Also I asked if there was still chicken chipotle wraps and the lady told me yes, once I made it home it was a chicken sandwich worst experience ever out of all the locations I’ve been in
Came at 5:15 PM, out of stock of Meat and Chicken ! (That the main concept of the fast food). Can you send a mail when you will have stock ? or the moment of day where I have the most chance to have something to eat at your fast food ? just to know when to come ! Thanks
Do not order online in this restaurant, worst experience ever! Today, I ordered online, and the order was confirmed to be ready for pickup at 1:50 p.m. Arriving at the restaurant at 1:52 p.m., food was not ready. Countless other customers came in, ordered, and got their food while I was waiting, obviously also some that ordered online. Kindly asked two times when my food will be ready. "Soon", no sorry, no explanation, no nothing. Had to wait for 35 minutes until the food was ready. Again, no sorry, no nothing when I finally got my order. Arriving at home (family desperately waiting to finally get lunch), we opened the stapled bag, and 4 ordered items were missing. Worst service ever! Well done, Pollo Tropical, we will not bother you again with an order!
One of the worst location and with incompetent people working there. Never order anything from the drive thru, they will give nothing but headache, ordered a chicken soup and never received 1 piece of chicken, the black beans was only water, the chicken they give you the smallest and oldest piece of the grill.
It took them 30 minutes to give me my food and a homeless came in and started to ask me to buy him something, if that was not enough the homeless came for round two when I was eating. No one kicked him out or said anything. I went again and then they gave me this as a meal.... this is not a meal, the beans are bigger then the leg and are almost the same size as the thigh, don't forget... the thighs have bones.... what... a .... joke.
Their rice side is super small、3 full spoons and it's gone. Your left with chicken without any side. Super expansive. Tv menu that keeps changing every 10seconds. If you order a large rice separately with half chicken it comes out to 11.78$ Update after corona outbreak: there is no walk in orders open, only drive through which makes for a traffic filled parking lot and a long wait time for uoure food, which is often wrong and you should check everything before driving away. Most of the time there is no salsa souce or any other normal souce that's a specialty of pollo tropical available at the drive through. The price is still the same and the meals are just as small as when they first made them smaller and raised the prices, all their new sandwiches use basically no ingredients and they skimp on what they can, when they can. Overall this place in sunny isles has become a bussiness that's going to close down soon and they do not care about service. I used to come to this location at least 4 times a week for more then 5 years, but now I'm not going there at all, it's just a big disappointment
Worst sandwich ever. Really bad experience. I ordered the cilantro garlic sandwich—chicken was burnt and the bread was cold, like straight from the fridge. I told the staff and they said that’s how the bread comes. I asked if they could heat it and they said no. The person was polite, but the service was not good. Later, my cousin mentioned the same issue and they offered to replace and heat hers. That should’ve been done for me too from the start.
I visited this place on Sunday 1/11/26 afternoon (3-4pm) and I ordered two meals, The lady who took my order she was in a bad mood, but that’s understandable, after I got my meal I went to the counter again and kindly ask for some package of ketchup and Tabasco, the staff person ( a man with Cuban accent) he made a bad facial expression and he threw me 4 packages of why I requested ( you can check the camera and see their behavior) Store should train their staff as per food time means a lot for us, we are human beings , but they treat customers as animals, very bad experience, sadly because this pollo tropical is located in one of the most tourist areas in Miami
Saw an employee handle the register and touched cash, then prepared food. I told the manager at the front, and she didn't do a thing to solve the issue. I could care less. If I could give this place a zero, I would. Yet again another customer came and employee touched register and the manager handled food with out gloves. No respect on food handling safety.
Poor quality food in a run down ambience. Chicken was though as leather. Staff couldn't give information for ingredients or allergens. Answer was l don't know not offering to get the information. We had to push for that. Toilets are a disaster and according to the saying "the toilet is the business card of a restaurant" because this sets the standard for the overall hygiene, I would strongly advice you to avoid that place.
I went for lunch and ordered a churrasco chopy chop and I was disappointed. They only added 3 small strips of steaks. The cashier didn't had any silver ware or any napkins. And not to mentioned that it was the most expensive meal
This pollo tropical is roach infested a man one time found a roach in his drink which was served by Samuel and complained to the manager and from what my niece told me the manager didn't do anything. My niece use to work at this pollo tropical and the managers suyen and claudia are very rude she got hired and was promised something else . she didn't get trained properly but the suyen manager was very rude to her about that when it wasnt her fault they couldn’t complete their jobs as managers and train her for the job . Also my niece complained about discrimination with some managers who would come in store to fill in because they are SHORT STAFFED the name she gave was rosa. Rosa was purposely attacking and coming for my niece because she is jealous and was trying to find any little reason to text claudia or suyen on her shift to get my niece written up for no reason the rosa manager EVEN FOLLOWED MY NIECE TO THE BATHROOM ALSO TOLD MY NIECE WHILE SHE WAS ON BREAK THAT SHE NEEDED TO HEAD BACK TO WORK when my niece stated she had 2-3 mins left of her break. This is just pure discrimination and antagonizing i do not recommend no one work here unless you want to deal with all of that also the pay is horrible and you cannot call off even for IMPORTANT REASONS which is ridiculous. I also dont recommend eating here because my niece said she saw her co worker arianna go to the bathroom and leave without washing her hands NOT TO ALSO MENTION THEY HAVE ROACHES EVERYWHERE!!
they always get my order wrong. Impossible to file a complaint through the app or by calling. Customer service doesn’t exist. Won’t refund you either. Waste of time. Avoid this restaurant if you can.
