Recently I've been visiting The Brother's Café for Breakfast in regarding my own quality time. I highly enjoy their pancakes and tend to rotate in the different choices I've grown up with this Café since the old corner location on 40th St and 43rd Ave. It's awesome to see them grow in business and in staff. It's also great to see familiar faces and when they recognize me growing up. My usuals for Lunch would be the Regular Dishes choices of Grilled Steak w/ Rice and Beans or the Chicken Kebab w/ Rice and Beans and sometimes a Grilled Chicken Salad. They're always welcoming and humble. This is a definite recommended place to relax and dine any time of the day but beware they do tend to get busy around Lunch time.

I love this place. My sister and I come here regularly for brunch. We enjoy their pancakes, and the huevos rancheros are also good. For lunch, the tortas are exceptional. Friendly service and good prices.

If you’re in Sunnyside and craving a meal that’s fast, flavorful, and feels like home, Sunnyside Brothers Café is your go-to. This neighborhood gem serves up authentic, satisfying dishes from morning to night whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast before work, a hearty lunch between errands, or a no-fuss dinner that still hits the spot. Let’s talk food: it’s so good. From huevos rancheros with red sauce to grilled sandwiches stacked with turkey bacon, every dish is made with care and served with a smile. The portions are generous, the flavors bold, and the prices? Ridiculously affordable. You’ll walk out full and happy without denting your wallet. The vibe is local and unpretentious. You’ll see regulars chatting with staff, takeout orders flying out the door, and the kitchen working fast without compromising quality. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down for a proper meal or grab something quick and still feel like you’ve been taken care of. Whether you’re craving Mexican breakfast classics, diner-style comfort food, or just a solid cup of coffee, Sunnyside Brothers Café delivers. It’s not trying to be trendy it’s just authentic, efficient, and delicious. And in a city that moves fast, that’s a rare kind of magic.

This place is a great experience. It has an authentic vibe and the wide mix of Mexican-American food giving plenty of options for everyone. We had the chilaquiles and two eggs with bacon. They were both delicious. The place is actually pretty big inside and it has few tables outside. Highly recommend!

Do not sleep on their fresh made chips! The Guac is not spicy (which is perfect for the kids) so I always ask for their amazing green salsa. Food is always fast, fresh and delicious. I’ve ordered most items on the menu and it’s always super satisfying. Neighborhood gem!

Too marvelous for words - was a big fan of their previous location, got worried when I saw it was no longer there! Delighted to find that the Brother's have found a much more suitable premises for their delicious, wholesome meals. The Huevos Rancheros with Red Sauce, 10/10. I will be dreaming of it for days to come.

I had the chilaquiles and this place never disappoints. The service is pretty good but it can be a little better. Other than that this place is family friendly. There's plenty of food to choose from

Much better than their old location, even small things like the coffee tastes better due to the newer equipment. Just be sure to check as they tend to forget things during busy times.

The quality here remains unmatched by any competitor. The staff deliver outstanding service consistency. Every option satisfies hunger without emptying wallets. My friends created the atmosphere, and the restaurant service supported it. My visit here was worth every dollar.

I have tried their food here before, and it was delicious. I truly love the atmosphere. However, on Friday, when I ordered an iced latte, I was disappointed to find a dead fly in it. This is unacceptable, and I ended up throwing away my coffee, half-finished. The hygiene standards need to be upgrade

We were excited to try The Sunnyside Brother’s Café after reading so many great reviews, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Our order was lost, and we ended up waiting over 45 minutes for breakfast that never arrived. In the meantime, several tables that came in after us were served, finished their meals, and left while we were still waiting. I was there with my two kids, husband and we had other commitments, so we eventually had to leave. When I approached the lady in charge, she simply told us to “wait 2 minutes,” and when I explained that we had already waited 45 minutes, the situation was not handled in the professional manner you would expect in hospitality. We also had to ask our server twice for an update before she finally admitted that our order had been lost. We fully understand that mistakes happen — and we truly would have understood — especially with my husband being in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. But the way it was managed could have been much better. To make matters worse, we were still charged for our drinks, and there was no effort to acknowledge the inconvenience or make things right. We left hungry and disappointed by the lack of accountability. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we hoped for.

I am not planning to go back to this restaurant because their served my breakfast without a good presentación and flavor, the home fríe is always over tosted, coffe is cold, and the service is extremelly unfriend. The Waiters never welcome the customers, they say hi only to people who they know. I don't recommend this place to nobody because our money has a value and we deserve a nice service as well a good food. Please be advised I went there many times in the past.
