Amazing home style filipino food for a reasonable price. Large portions. Always stop here when I'm in the area. Great on a cold rainy day.

Homemade Filipino food. The food looked fresh and the location was clean. I ordered the pork adobo, longanisa and rice. It was fantastic even though I knew it would be a bit on the greasy side. Staff is very friendly and made you feel like family. It was lunch time and the place is well known by Filipinos working and living in the area. Great place to have Filipino food!

Had flan and the fish and egg cakes with rice was the best one of my favorite places

Great Filipino food in a small simple setting. We ordered Laing, lechon kawali, longinisa, bbq pork, turon, and cassava cake. It was about $40. Delicious dishes similar to home cooking.

I like to come here often. For the most part ordering is simple, get a plate with rice and 1 or 2 entrees. Every entree I've tried so far has been delicious. Food is very authentic filipino.

Food is always very good here. We've been coming here for years, and always loved how the dishes capture the "Filipino" taste. Service is pleasant and warm.

They were closing and only had chicken or pork adobo left. The owner graciously offered a serving of both. The pork adobo was the best I've ever had, even compared to adobo I've had in the Philippines. The chicken was a little dry but still pretty tasty.

I got there early so i went to their little market next door. It was great to see all kinds of stuff my mom would buy. It brought me back to my childhood days. Then i went in Clarita's. It was like a fiesta of variety of filipino entrees. I had a double combo of sisig and pinakbet with rice and an order of pancit. It was masarap!!!! Delicious! I can't wait to go back again.

Everything looked very fresh! My adobo was really good, but the pork and potato stew was a little bland. Quick service, fair prices, and good service

Great food, service and prices are good. However, the atmosphere inside feels like a dungeon, dark painted ceiling tile and poor ventilation.

If you want something quick, no frills Filipino food then this is your place. Entrees on steam trays at fairly reasonable prices. The problem is, you really can't eat here on the regular because almost 70% of the food is the same day in and out so you will get tired of the taste. Also they tend to cook the most indulgent, oily Filipino dishes.

Pretty authentic Filipino experience overall. Mom prefers it over another place close by. I could have it either way. They do run out of popular options pretty quickly, so get there before or by noon to better your chances. Not a fan of the location, but Filipino restaurants tend to be in such out of the way locations; seems it continues to be a fringe indulgence.

Warm, carinderia, mom-and-pop style atmosphere. Food is simple, affordable and without MSG. Looking forward to Filipino dishes such as laing and dinuguan. Unfortunately they run out of food often, so be there early!

Good for a quick bite if you’re in the area. Sisig had plenty of onion and ginger which I liked. The adobo sauce was passable, but the meat was dry. There were self-serve condiments. Their turon is huge, maybe 6 inches. 1 is basically 2 normal turon. The sugar is thick and crunchy but not really caramelized. The banana was a little underripe, it was a little dry and firm. A selection of entrees are made each day but none of them are labeled. They are all oilier dishes. The service was fine.

I was in the neighborhood and was craving some home cooking and found Clarita's. They offered 8-10 different precooked entrees. I went with the rice plate with chicken adobo. It was delicious! It was sweet, spicy and had lots of flavor! However, the pieces of chicken was nothing but bones. Imagine cutting a thigh into 4 pieces and you get stuck with bony pieces. Well that's what they gave me. Plus it was cold! Which was odd because they brought out another batch while I was ordering. I would not mind if I was eating it at home, I would be able to reheat it. But I ate it in my car. The rice plate was $11, which is expensive. Considering it was just 6-8 pieces of bones and 2 scoops of rice!

Probably I didn't select the most matched dishes with my liking. But overall it was okay. i am going to try other dishes later as I hope I'll like some of them. After that I'll update my review too.

I’ve been going to this place for almost 8 yrs— Food is good— But today I stopped by on my way to work- Asked the guy if I can seperate the adobo dish from the rice, he capped an attitude and said “ We don’t put it on seperate containers anymore”! I said I’ll pay for the container as I don’t like it running all over my plate by the time I get to work it will be messy and the juices leak out of the plate— This ugly guy who’s rude and mean won’t budge, I said, Cmon Kuya, jokingly smiled to him and I said , I’ve been coming here for years, and he goes “ IT DOESNT MATTER”! So I left cuz if people don’t value customers loyalty, I’d rather go to RENE ROSE and not be stressed out with some stupid container! Your customer service sucks and don’t put servers that aren’t even happy to work there!!! You just lost a Customer today!

The owner man was rude on the phone ... I am a very good customer Fro many many years !! and I am a good person and they didn’t want to sell me the halo-halo separately. This makes me not wanna come back here again and go to the Filipino place by 7-Eleven down the street on Caliente Drive Arceli (Clarita) was so much nicer to me. I will Always buy my food products from her. Mits 4:10pm and The stores about to close soon so I don’t know how many hollow hollow people buy but the stores about to close and they could’ve sold me the two ice cream’s individually but he was argumentative and next time I will do business with Clarita. If this happens again I will no longer do business with this restaurant and go to the Filipino restaurant down the street on calliente drive. NEVER AGAIN. Rude Keene Mmmm mommm

Stopped by this place for the first time at 5:30pm (they close at 7pm) only to be told by the two cooks who were sitting down with their dinner.. he pointed over to the food sitting out and said "that's all we have left." I glanced over and nothing appealed to me so I left. So they don't do al la carte? Sorry to interrupt your dinner. Not a good first impression and not coming back here. Magic Wok nearby has good sisig but they're currently closed for renovations.
