I and my bf like the spicy sandwich and the fried spicy wings sooooo much! Remind us KFC back in China. My favorite fast food in Bay Area. Highly recommend.

Very good fried chicken. California wrap is not like Mexican wrap, but everything tastes really good. Some are even better than KFC

Macho Burger doesn't sell their flavored beef burgers anymore, just the Macho Cheeseburger. I was looking forward to trying their green chili pepper cheeseburger and black truffle cheeseburger. I ended up only getting the Macho Crispy Chicken Sandwich. It was indeed the crispiest chicken sandwich I ever had. My friend got one of their chicken wraps and the nuggets. She agreed it was one of the crispiest she had especially in the Bay Area. The nuggets has a slightly crispier outing than McD. This is an order at the kiosk and pick up at the counter type place. Your food comes on a tray and you bus your own table. They serve your food fast!

This place is close to our work and today we tried it out. It’s in a small shopping center that provides some parking spaces but most are “compact”. It may be a little trouble to find a parking spot at lunch. The restaurant is new and clean, self served, you order from a screen and pay then wait until your number called. Our cheeseburgers took about 20 minutes. Most people ordered chicken burgers, our cheeseburgers were quite juicy for $11. They do have some bacon in them, lettuce and tomatoes. The buns are soft and the meat is good, not a really big patty likes 5 guys but enough for lunch and bigger than In-n-out doubles. The fries are quite different and tasty, sprinkled with ground black pepper. Very good. We took out so didn’t get any drinks. Not bad for the price and just right for lunch. I would order one fries for 2 because they’re quite large and plentiful.

Spicy chicken sandwhich and waffle fries are very delicious to me. Tender beef wrap reminds me of Chinese KFC. Environment is great, big and bright. There is a self order machine there. It is easy to order. It is close to my company and I will definitely eat every week. This is one of my favorite restaurants in bay area. Highly recommend!

The food is excellent, I like the service, but they need to take cash as payments. They only expect card as payment method.

Their fried chicken sandwhich is excellent. Super juicy and tender with a flaky yet crispy crust that goes down so easily. Their wraps are also good but twice the size of snack wraps that you would find elsewhere

A taste of Chinese KFC in town! This burger place offers a familiar Chinese KFC experience, with a menu that closely resembles the one back in China, though the flavors are slightly downgraded. We tried the crispy popcorn chicken, Beijing chicken wrap, and Orleans grilled wings. The popcorn chicken was freshly fried, piping hot, and super tasty. The Beijing chicken wrap, which used to be one of my favorites in China, didn’t disappoint. It had the same signature flavor with a unique sauce. However, the Orleans grilled wings were a bit cold, which dulled the flavor. It would have been much better if they were served hotter. As a fast-food spot, the service was on the slower side. We waited around 15 minutes for our order. It would’ve been nice if the food was hotter overall. Still, it’s a solid grab-and-go option.

Macho burger is either from China or heavily influenced by Chinese KFC. Note that I mentioned KFC and yes this place is actually mostly a fried chicken place rather than a burger joint. Chinese actually don't differentiate between burger or sandwich so all chicken sandwich or fish sandwich is called a burger. So don't expect a good burger here because even the only beef cheese burger offering here is lacking and I wouldn't recommend it at all However if you are a fried chicken connoisseur then this is the place for you. It's very similar to the fried chicken flavors that are offered in the KFC in China (btw KFC is more popular than McDonald's in China). The chicken are almost mostly dark meat which is the right way to do fried chicken so if you are a white meat only person then don't come here either. Otherwise the chicken is crispy moist and flavorful. The sauce is very similar to that was offered by ABC Chicken which is another Chinese KFC clone here in the Bay Area. The mayo sauce is served on the chicken sandwich but not super heavy. I also really enjoyed the spicy wings. Once again I didn't like the beef cheese burger but highly recommend the fried chickens offered here. There can be a long line and you may have to wait a bit depending on what you order but they tried to be efficient and I do prefer freshly fried chicken so that's ok. Place is not too small but parking can be a slightly difficult.

This place was interesting. I got the black pepper burger and it was really good. I’ve never had that kind of burger before and it was super delicious. Also got some chicken and fries. Very filling. They seasoned their fries with salt and pepper. I read the reviews about other people having the runs of some sort. TBD. If it happens, I will update. Haha! Would I come back again? Maybe if I was in the area. I would like to try their wraps and the squid stick here.

I really liked the food here but everything else wasn't that great. Starting with the robotic ticket caller. The thing was turned way too high and seemed just a little impersonal. The burger was good BUT on a slow opening it took 20min. SOP is when a burger order comes in you just throw it on the grill and then go back to doing other things. Macho Burger but the focus seems to be chicken. In an Asian fried chicken kind of way. Minor/ major issue. No way to exclude items when ordering on the computer. So noted "no tomatoes" I'm allergic. Not severely. But this would have made the latter half of the day unpleasant for me. I don't know how to QC this issue for them. But you guys might want to include a toppings list like Habit Burger AND pay attention to exclusions/ notes.

Tried the Crispy Chicken Sandwich also which had a dark meat chicken thigh coated with a very crispy batter type coating. The chicken's main seasoning was pepper. Surprisingly less oily than the shrimp sandwich. Onion rings had a beer batter type coating and was a great deal at $5; could be better if a little bit more brown and crispy. You can add fries and drinks to your sandwich for $5. Staff were nice but had difficulty with communication. Some signs are not in English so couldn't tell if there was a special deal going on. There were tables available but none of them were clean despite the staff at the counter was just waiting for people to come in to order. Will return to try the burgers next time.

This place just open and I decided to give it a try. It smells good look good, but I do not trust it. Honestly I don’t even know if it’s real meat is fried chicken supposed to be red I thought it was white or dark but red I took one by and I was done. We also tried the steak wrap and it was hard to bite through the steak. I am also not convinced that this is 100% meat and gross me out. The only thing I did enjoy was the french fries, but I am very cautious about this place and I question the integrity of the meat..

I had a very unpleasant experience at Macho Burger in Sunnyvale. After eating there, I suffered from stomach issues, diarrhea, and dizziness that lasted for an entire day. I would not recommend this place for anyone with a sensitive stomach.

Cashier is unprofessional. Asked for black pepper for the burger and he said no indifferently. Besides, they used half chicken wing to cheat.

I will give lowest rate: Tonight we bought takeout — two burgers, a box of chicken wings, and fries — for around forty dollars. The fries were over-fried and had a bitter taste. The chicken wings and the burgers’ meat smelled bad, likely spoiled, and it seemed the restaurant had added a lot of seasoning to cover up the odor.

If you order the popcorn chicken, you will get half of the box would be fried flour but not chicken. I don’t like being fooled like this.

Food was way too oily and greasy. Prolly one of the worst sandwiches I’ve eaten. The place isn’t clean at all, you could see left overs on the floor and table.
