Moods Wine Bar is a fantastic new addition to Sunnyvale’s wine scene. Its curated wine list is the star, featuring organic, biodynamic, and small-batch selections from around the world.

Moods was such a welcome & pleasant surprise for us! We walked in for the first time and the lighting and saxophone player immediately created an inviting & comfortable ambiance. I guess that's why they called it Moods! The owners, who were taking the orders, were both so friendly and kind and you could tell that their sociable mood was setting the mood for everyone in the bar - everyone just seemed relaxed and casual and enjoying themselves together, yet it was intimate for my girlfriend and I, as well. The husband and wife owners were knowledgeable on their wines, as well, which was welcome, as I am not exactly a connoisseur. We had wine only, but will have to try some of the foods, next time. In addition, they introduced themselves and chatted a bit and were interested in us, as people, which was another pleasant surprise in today's world. Moods is a rare find, I think, and we will be back.

This restaurant is a true gem. The owner and his wife are incredibly warm and welcoming—you feel at home the moment you walk in. The owner cooks the Afghan food himself, and it’s absolutely amazing: rich, authentic flavors made with so much care. What makes the place even more special is the atmosphere. The beautiful paintings hanging on the walls are all painted by the owner, which adds such a personal and artistic touch. On some days, there are live shows that make the experience even more memorable. A wonderful place for delicious food, art, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

My husband and I had a delightful and delicious experience at Moods last night with our friends, which included the best hummus I’ve ever had! The food was marvelous and the wines were wonderful! Can’t wait to go back and also to recommend Moods to my other friends!

Went here for dinner and drinks with a friend and we had the best experience! The owner was very kind and took great care of us. The food and wine were delicious and the atmosphere was very welcoming and warm with lots of charm and ambiance. It was also nice that the location had ample free parking!

We had a great time on Valentine’s Day. We were able to get a table without a reservation. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I got the wine flight and the vinho verde in particular was fantastic. Would recommend

Moods is a vibe! The owners are pretty amazing people. Very inviting, they create an atmosphere soothing comfort. The wine selection is very good, but I really enjoyed the soju drinks. The humus and other bites I had were outstanding. We vibes off music and good conversation. I wound up spending more time and money than I intended, but I guess that be expected when have a superior customer service experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I plan to be back more often.

Nice little wine bar in downtown Sunnyvale that has recently opened. We stopped by for a drink and enjoyed the experience. There is a good selection of options and husband and wife owners are extremely friendly. We will definitely return to sample the food and try some different options.

Mood's is lovely - highly recommend! In terms of the wine, there's a nice variety for very reasonable prices. Our group didn't have a lot of food but what we did have was delicious. Finally, the environment was a highlight - it was very comfortable and you could tell was lovingly put together. In particular, the owner was a delight to interact with. Will definitely come back!

We went last night with a group of 7. The atmosphere is lovely, the wine selection excellent, the location great, and Mahmood and his wife Casey are excellent hosts! And all this on a night when they didn't have live music. Can't beat that!

Opening night and ribbon cutting. The place was packed! Great to see such a big turnout for their opening. Wine and small plates were great. Afghani inspired food was a welcome change. Charcuterie board was good. Outdoor tables are a nice touch. Congrats to Mahmoud and the team on the grand opening!!

Rude owner. We were waiting for 15min and finally asked a server for someone to attend to us. He asked the owner, who loudly said "they have just come, they need to wait'". We could see that all this time, he was only at one table. Talking to them, having a drink with them, ... Not a pleasant experience, we just walked out.
