The Bean Scene Cafe Sunnyvale Reviews
Someone from work brings me coffee from this place. It is the best coffee I have ever had. The caffeine buzz is so clean and effective with zero anxiety. The taste of the latte is amazing. A memorable and stand-out coffee!
Nice neighborhood cafe in downtown Sunnyvale. The coffee is superior to the local chains and it has a good vibe and ample seating. Sunnyvale has a dearth of independent cafes and this is one of the best.
Excellent coffee shop n cafe with yummy food like the chicken melt panini with pesto, spinach tomato, roasted red bell avocado and provolone cheese Sandwich came with a side so I chose the salad and I also got a diet Coke I sat inside.Employeese are present .I recommend this place
This is one of the great spots to grab a coffee and get some work done. The coffee is excellent, and the environment is cozy and comfortable, making it a nice place to settle in. However, it can be hard to find a table since it's often busy. The space is clean, which adds to the overall positive experience. My only suggestion would be to expand their selection of cookies and pastries for more variety. Overall, a lovely spot to visit!
I've recently taken to reviewing coffee shops with a new friend, and suchly I found the Bean Scene Cafe for us to expand our horizons. I'm not a coffee enthusiast, or a coffee drinker, so I ended up getting a big chocolate croissant pastry (picture attached). It was around $4.31 and quite massive - it took me longer to eat it than it took my friend to finish his drink. He got a cappuccino which he claimed that pretty good. There is a fair amount of good seating in the cafe, and if's tastefully decorated with good ambient lighting. I would come here again since the croissant was quite scrumptious and I enjoyed the vibes!
The fresh brew coffee was fine though the mugs weren't that nice. Too large that doesn't allow the coffee to remain hot. Omelette was good but the bread served seemed like simple sliced grocery store kind. Think and chewy. No fruit or potatoes with the omelette which may not be a bad thing though.
I have visited multiple times here. The ambiance is good for work or reading sessions and the coffee is good. I have had their capuchino, and white mocha which was aromatic. I also tried their chicken melt it was good but I needed to sprinkle salt and pepper to get it to my levels.
A cozy coffee shop with great ambience and service. We got hazelnut latte sugar free and cafe latte. Both were good but I felt the texture could be a bit thick. The flavor was amazing. They also had plenty of pastry options but we didn’t try any. I’d highly suggest to try their pastry.
I love Bean Scene and have been here a lot of times. I’ve tried their red velvet coffee, the island latte, the white chocolate and the black forest. I’m a fan of different coffee flavours that they offer. However, why I gave 4 stars is because of the service. One of the servers was indifferent to my feedback where I was just trying to communicate that the latte was a little too sweet for my taste to which he replied “maybe ask for a less sweeter one next time!”
This place looks like it needs a good clean. The service was so-so and the coffee was decent but it isn’t exactly a place that feels modern or hygienic 😂
I am writing to share feedback regarding an interaction at the counter today. After purchasing a meal and a self-serve coffee, I waited for my food to arrive before filling my cup. Upon going to the coffee station, I was immediately intercepted by him ( same person who took the order) who accused me of not paying. The interaction was handled with significant hostitility and a lack of professional inquiry. Even after I clarified the situation, the employee offered no apology for the false accusation. This level of suspicion directed toward a customer is unacceptable and left me feeling targeted and unwelcome
It’s a pleasant place. I don’t order hot drinks so can speak to their quality. The food is definitely subpar. The staff has been very friendly and pleasant both times I’ve gone in. However, I can’t overlook the rather large CB cockroach I saw crawling around in the gelato freezer (which has condensation on the inside, and all of the gelato looked slimy and thawed), especially after I saw a local homeless man sit down with a cup of it. I had already paid for the food I won’t be eating or I would have walked out 🤢🤮
The ponytail barista guy was unnecessarily rude and came across as borderline racist. It’s sad because we’ve been regulars here. Some professional customer service training would greatly help him and improve the business
