A friend introduced me to this place on one of my food hunting, I haven't stopped eating Hazel's food since. The food is flavorful and satisfying, and the lunch special price and portions can't be beat. You can call and ask for meals to be made to order. You don't have to take my word for it, try it for yourself. Primarily Jamaican take out dishes. Doordash and Uber eats orders are supported.

The jerk chicken is excellent, and the portion sizes are generous. The food is also very fresh.

I usually go to golden krust for their curry or brown stew lunch specials, but this particular day since I spotted this restaurant the week before, I saw that they had the same thing, so I decided to check them out and I am glad I did. The chicken was so tender, the rice cooked perfect and the cabbage melt in your mouth. It was a very nice portion size too for only $5- $5.35 with tax and you get a free 16oz soda with it also. I have to say she has won me over, lol. Can't wait to try the curry chicken.

The brown stewed fish was delicious and cooked to order! Very nice change up than ordering from the chain name carribbean restaurants. Please update the phone number to this location. I placed the new number under the edit portion. I hope it solidifies.

I ordered brown stew fish with rice and peas. Side of Mac and plantains. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, not, and fish cook to order. I definitely will order again.

Un amigo me presentó este lugar durante una de mis búsquedas de comida y desde entonces no he dejado de comer la comida de Hazel. La comida es sabrosa y satisfactoria, y el precio especial del almuerzo y las porciones son inmejorables. Puedes llamar y pedir que te preparen las comidas por encargo. No tienes que confiar en mi palabra, pruébalo tú mismo. Principalmente platos jamaicanos para llevar. Se admiten pedidos de Doordash y Uber eats.

Oh my goodness never in my life have a restaurant sold me left overs like this I wasted my 50$ For this food the fish had no taste, the soup had a bunch of food in it no soup and the callaoo had a lot of trash in it. I tried contacting Uber eats but of course there is no way to get someone on the phone. I tried calling the business back no answer or return of call my goodness I’ve never ever given a review before but I regret buying anything from here and I need my money back ! This is. “No star”restaurant.

The food is nasty

First time ordering and they messed my order up… the rice that I didn’t even order was soggy like baby food. The oxtail had no flavor… rice like mash potatoes. Plantain mushy like yogurt,the food cost me $32. When I call store to express my Grievance they argue with me and didn’t even apology for their mistake. Never again you want good Jamaican food go to island flavor on McNab.

I ordered an oxtail via DoorDash from this place and the oxtail was terrible. The rice was also pasty. Food lacked seasoning not good at all.

We ordered jerk chicken pasta, I'm not sure what that was but it wasn't Alfredo, just a poor attempt and creativity. The rice and peas we got with the curried veggies were bland, the curried veggies tasted as they came from a frozen bag from Publix. The fries were unsalted and flavorless, the texture however was satisfactory. Overall the quality of the food was appalling. The only bright side is the portions, you do get your money's worth...tasteless money's worth.

The food made me gag !! The pasta noodles came in a cup separated from the meat the pasta was wayyyyyyy over cooked and soft and mushy and the chicken was ran through I also ordered some brown stew chicken for my daughter and that was also very nasty the rice was mushy a little portion of the meat which tasted really sweet the sprite was tasty though ! I know for a fact a real Jamaican/Bahamian did not cook this food if I could give 0 stars I would Oh I forgot Marconi was watered down and had a strange smell

Buyer beware! I ordered through Door Dash and I waited an hour and a half....the app said the Dasher was on their way but I received no food!!! They up and cancelled my order. It was now too late for me to order from another Jamaican restaurant. Scammers!!!

I asked for no dumplings and they minused the meat. There was not even one piece of meat in the soup. Horrible. Curry chicken was worse. Absolutely no taste of curry

Ay Dios mío, nunca en mi vida un restaurante me había vendido sobras como esta. Desperdicié mis 50 $. Por esta comida, el pescado no tenía sabor, la sopa tenía un montón de comida, nada de sopa, y el callao tenía un montón de basura. Intenté contactar con Uber Eats, pero, por supuesto, no hay forma de contactar a alguien por teléfono. Intenté devolver la llamada al negocio y no hubo respuesta ni devolución de la llamada. ¡Dios mío, nunca antes había dejado una reseña, pero me arrepiento de haber comprado algo aquí y necesito que me devuelvan el dinero! Este es un restaurante "sin estrellas".
