SO GOOD! This is what I want when I’m craving McDonald’s. The food was cooked and assembled to PERFECTION. 2 thumbs up to the cook! Also the guy that took my order was so polite, really nice and very accurate. He took my order and repeated back with ease.

At this McDonald's if you go inside to eat, you have to ring the cowbell for service. Otherwise the workers are focused on the drive-thru orders.

Very quick considering their technical difficulties. As always very friendly and courteous. Glad to have McDonald's back in Susanville.

McDonald's is our number one fast food place to eat. The food is always hot and, if not fresh, really close to it. We have never had a problem at any of their locations.

Ordered a drink while waiting for my delivery order to be finished. Unlike the normal experience of slow fulfillment times and excessive waiting the staff today were quick on their feet, motivated, and we're friendly.

Breakfast this morning was fine.. however the last couple times I've come here in the afternoon or evening I always seem to be missing something from my order and have to go through the drive-thru again. I think that may be due to having a bunch of new people for the summer.

4 stars because the food is always good, always correct, and very fast. But some of the employees aren't very kind. I've had food practically shoved into my car because they're trying to hurry, I've said things like "Thank you" and "have a good day" and gotten no response other than them shutting the window. Their employees could do better.

We stopped here so my boyfriend and our son could get a bite to eat on our road trip..I can't eat anything here, but I did get a smoothie that was pretty good! The only issue was some jerk that stormed in with a snotty attitude, cursing at the employees, saying pretty rude remarks because he had been waiting a few extra minutes from the busy drive thru side..they were short-staffed because multiple employees had called in.. that's not the fault of those that do show up! Food service and retail are already stressful, adding these kinds of inevitable situations make them more so..but all the employees stayed calm, didn't get angry, or snap back...they were incredibly kind and repeatedly apologized for the wait. We rarely visit a McDonald's, but I'll definitely stop at this one again next time we pass through..for another smoothie!

I ordered the usual Quarter pounder with cheese no pickle, small fries, and a hi C orange...my burger had pickle on it...was not happy because even tho I can remove the pickle I can still taste it. Other than that the service was fast. They should slow down a bit and not put the pickle on my burger.

It's Mc Donald's it's pretty much always the same. The standout at this location is the very friendly employees. We were road weary, and they were so kind to us even though we were a bit spacey and tired. I REALLY appreciate that. On Easter Sunday, they all had kindness in their demeanor, and smiles all around.

Always stare at me weird I don't know why. They are very short with the dips. If I order lots of nuggets and ask for sauces I end up with one maybe two. And usually not what I asked for. Other than that seems pretty fresh and I know they work tirelessly and train alot. But some reason because they are always so busy I respect that they don't get mad at customers especially dealing with rewards and and complicated transactions with so many changes in menu.

So they're done with the tear down build up remodel not sure I like the theme they picked for the inside decor. I don't know if they picked to that decor because we're Prison Town USA and I've never been to prison but imagine a similar feel. I am always happy with the staff, food and service though.

I gave it a 3 because the brand new girl (day 1) was left upfront to deal with customers while the back of the restaurant had so many issues. She was so composed with so many issues. They were having a hard time getting a majority of orders right and it took about an hour for food to finally come out.

The service was quite good but slow. We had to double check our order and the orders got mixed up and we ended up having to wait extra time to get the incorrect order refunded and pay the correct order’s value. Coffee and Hash browns were good.

The food was but run of the mill in flavor. At this time due to covid 19 window service only but prior with dine in service the facility is not clean and flies during the warmer months as well as dirty mop and dirty mop water standing in n the dinning area. When brought to the attention of staff the attitude was nonchalant.

I was traveling through from Nevada to Oregon, going on Friday and back on Saturday. Friday my egg Mcmuffin was cold and not completely cooked. On the way back it was warm but the egg wasn't cooked enough it was the worst 2 I've ever had.

Crazy how expensive the prices are compared to other McDonald's in the region. The $1 $2 $3 menu is missing items as well. Employees and staff were friendly and amicable at least, and the ordering touch screens were operational. Bathrooms were clean as well.

Took a minute to get through the line (drive thru is a tad slower than in store) but the service was pleasant and when our order was wrong, they fixed it immediately and gave us loads of extra fries and sauce! You can't get this kind of service in the city! Still homey and great people, seriously. Hot and delicious!

The remodel looks like a jail. The kids have nowhere to play now. We used to go every sunday and eat lunch after church and play on the playground. But some decided to take it out and now its just not the same place. Sucks to. Oh and the soda taste weird now 😒 and the food is different tasting now but costs more. Just not my favorite place anymore. I don't get why they changed. They were the best now they are a third choice. 😭😭😭

The place is messy. Sticky counters, tables still had trash on them. The women's bathrooms never have toilet paper. One stall is always out of order, and the other stall locks itself, so you can't get into it. The service is good. The employees are nice. The burgers were thrown together messy but good, and the fries were delicious.

Ordered for here, was given it in a bag with an attitude because I didn't hear my number being called because the kiosk stated it would be brought out to me. Your garbage wouldn't be so full if you'd pay attention to you patrons who are eating in and eliminate the bag.

Clean mcdonald's, no playplace which is a lame trend with all the new fastfood places. Staff is hit or miss sometimes it's great service sometimes they make you drive through the drive through walk inside because your mobile order for pickup was placed on the counter and they can't walk ten feet to grab your order.

The staff is friendly ...service not to long a wait ...food isn't always assembled properly or neatly n I've had burnt fries and also old fries mixed with new ...but over all they are pretty good with service n customer service ...they remodel is depressing though they took out all color and the playground for the kids outside it now looks like a jail or probation office lol kinda creepy feel honestly from what it used to feel more family fun inviting 💁

I stopped because it was a long trip and I just wanted a quick bite, that is not what happened though. Turns out after I ordered I found out people had been waiting for an hour for their orders, then all these people started coming up to the counter with wrong orders 😳 but no one was working the counter. Well lots of unhappy people in the lobby area. They were taking orders out but they weren’t the right ones to the right cars, they couldn’t figure out what order went where so they just got left on the front counter but were for drive through. Next thing I knew my order was ready, I checked and it was right so I left with everyone else upset. I at least got my order but I did have to wait about 30-40 minutes. According to one of the customers waiting this is typical for this McDonalds. Oh one of the stalls in the women’s restroom doesn’t have a toilet paper holder, looks like someone ripped it off the wall and they never replaced it. They have the stall open for use but no paper in it at all.

I'm pretty sure restaurants still have heat lamps to keep food warm until the order is ready to go out to the customers. The food would have been much better had it been hot, or even very warm. Overall, I'm not opposed to McDonald's. I would just like it to be hot.

Currently undergoing renovations. No mobile ordering- drive through only. Handwritten sign that says no soft drinks available. Luckily we came for caramel frappes which they had. Although the medium frappe costs the same price as a large.

Do not like the automated order system. Ended up with what I did not want. The older man behind me had the same issue. This just takes away from feeling like a customer and personal service

Cashier was rude and made us wait about 10 minutes while she had a discussion with her manager and other employees about shifts. Was getting ready to leave when she finally took care of us. She also kept complaining about how worried she was that she would get yelled at. By who and for what? Only she knows. Will never go to this McDonald's again!!!!

The atmosphere was dirty, and the woman's restroom was ungodly. I didn't have to wait long for my food, but it definitely wasn't fresh. 2/10

Two stars because I guess effort counts? Pretty sure the AC was going its 40 degrees out. Every one that walked into the building walked out with a wrong order and nobody stayed up front long enough to help with it. Poor guy taking the orders up front was brand new and alone left to sink by himself. I also heard they were over staffed and sending people home. Maybe try helping your staff instead of ignoring them 😂

Honestly, I didn't really care how the employees don't take the time to wash their hands correctly. I've seen the employees put soap on their hands and just wash it off without taking the time to thoroughly rub their hands together, inbeteewn their fingers or the outside of their hands and let the soap disinfect. I've been here multiple times. They usually are good at getting the food out in a timely fashion, but the hand washing is a big one.

This is the third time in a 30 period were I have been told that no breakfast burritos are available. There is no good reason to not have them as there has been now blizzard or high winds...

I had to repeat my order several times in order for the cashier to correctly take the order. We wanted 4 of an item that was on the menu. Only difference was to add cheese to three of them. It was amazing to me the cashier ( was not younger than 30) could not seem to understand this order.

The service is extremely slow since we and one other couple were the only ones dining in. There was lack of staff, lack of food quality and overall poor atmosphere. Very uncomfortable. Worst experience ever in a McDonalds.

The food was okay but what we ordered like our burger's were missing things that we asked to be own the burger and somehad things that we didn't ask for like pickles and onions. I will not eat at any McDonald’s ever again, I loved the quarter pounder with cheese, but I haven’t eaten anymore since getting really sick on different times and locations while traveling. My health is fine it’s just not prepared properly as it used to be.

This particular McDonald's has really gone downhill. Always out of everything, including hot chocolate, ice cream, sodas condiments and change. The price of the meals have gone up so much and the service has gone down. Might as well go to a regular restaurant.

The food was not good at all tried eating it but could only eat half threw the rest away. Got a double bacon quarter pounder with cheese fries and drink. Ask for just mayonnaise and onions they give me just mayonnaise and onions. But there was more mayonnaise then there was food. It was like a sea of Mayonnaise. The food was really bad. I won't eat there again and I will let everyone know what I think if asked. They didn't have my sweet tea either. 😔

Completely automated. No one at the front counter. You have to order at the kiosks. The food arrived in a reasonable time by employees who only come out only to deliver food. This has always been our stop from Oregon to Lake Tahoe. Not anymore. This will be our last time.

Stopped in for what we decided would be dinner and ice cream, My wife ordered a adult sized single burger, with extra onions, I ordered the most expensive burger thinking if it looks like the picture what a great deal......we were both shocked when we got the meal...it was much smaller than what they show on the pictures, menu, adds, ect. And at $38.00 bucks for two burgers, two drinks, two frys, and a chicken McSomething we did'nt order??? Plus a small cone and a Shamrock McFlurry.....The staff was polite and the order was fast. I think the franchise owner should rethink his sizing and prices, Please no more unhappy meals for me.

They keep burning the buns black. I understand the folks working are doing their best, but twice in a row the hamburger buns have been blackened. Makes you wonder what else is getting fouled up.

While on her cellphone, she was taking my order. After a 20 minute wait, yep it was wrong . The manager did correct it right away. The lobby was filthy,and more flys inside than outside.

We ordered Mocha frappes with no whip cream and extra drizzle. They screwed the order up so we had to wait in the parking lot where they brought the frappe with whipped cream, said they couldn't scrape it off, said they would remake them which we didn't have time. So we scraped the cream off ourselves which took alot of the drizzle we had paid extra for. Not happy.

Employees ARE NOT washing their hands after using the bathroom!! There was NO SOAP in the men's bathroom, told the manager and he just shrugged. Place was recently remodeled and looks nice but with the bathroom issue I can't give more than 1 star.

Pulled up submitted my order pulled forward to window number one to pay. Another car pulled up behind me. Went up to window number two to pick up my food he asked me to pull forward. Car behind me goes to window number two gets their food and drives on. 7 minutes later here comes my food out. Simple order number seven with a drink. When I ask the person that delivered my food, he said I don't know.

Missing drink types, and the place was very dirty. Worried about the cleanliness of the kitchen given how little care is given to the rest of the location. Skip if possible

Edit from 4 star review: The manager David is discussing! He smells faul, like rotten feet and old sweaty laundry. His shirt looks like he's lived in it for that past month. I don't know how he's allowed to work there being a walking health hazard. The food is all was wrong. But I don't order here anymore because of how gross the manager is. I don't want him touching my food!!!

This location needs some oversight and rigor with regards to their opening hours. Multiple times I have swung by for a breakfast sandwich to find they are not staffed or open in the 0500- 0600 time frame. Maybe this location needs to roll back their opening hours, rather than give people the false hope they can grab breakfast at their store. Now I'm hungry at work, should have just cooked at home.

Don't bother going here...the manager finds paying customers an inconvenience if they want to order inside instead of sitting in a drive thru after being in a car all day. The dining room was open less than 5 minutes before we tried to go in but the manager would rather see us go to the competition instead of let us order inside.

Customer service was terrible. 3 employees were sitting around talking while 3-4 customers were in line. No one was working the register. Coffee was lukewarm and not made to how I ordered it. Worst McDonald's I've been to.

Ordered unsweetened tea. Repeated it 3 times. So did they. Got sweet tea. Wife went in to get it replaced. Was treated like , you know what. Manager rolled his eyes and handed her a cup. No apology, no nothing. I don’t want anything but remember this McDonald’s employees when you are replaced with automation. Have a little compassion. We all make mistakes but how you handle them is what matters.

Go here if you wanna spend 35 minutes in the drive thru line. They served everyone before me stuck me in the drive thru wait spot and forgot.

Went to McDonald's for the first time in awhile and was beyond disappointed. First of all I ordered a double cheese burger with no pickles. Then I order a kids meal. They were put of chicken nuggets so I dropped the kids meal and just had the hamburger. I got to the window in no time then they told me I had to pull forward so they can make my hamburger. After 25 minutes waiting I finally went inside to find my hamburger. It wasn't done and they had to of either erased it or put that it was given to me because they were all confused. Finally I received my luke warm hamburger. I was never given a receipt so I could let them know this was a bad experience. I paid for a hamburger that I could not eat. I could understand if they were busy but they were not. I had to go get my grandchildren food from their competitors since they wanted the chicken nuggets. What happened to customer service. It truly seems to be something that no longer exists.

They took it out to us they said they had a lot of receipts. They had more workers then receipts. Disrespectful Behavior a man scaring everyone that there is a fire. it took so long to give someone a drink.Food was cold did not taste right.

Ordered in the drive through, had to pull forward for our food, fine. After noticing many others behind us getting their food had to go in. Return to the car and half of the order is missing. Have to go back inside and have them actually make the other half. How hard is it to read the screen and make sure what is on the screen is in the bag?

What a terrible drive thru experience. Absolutely hopeless. And when I returned to tell them my order was wrong and was missing a burger, I was accused of lying. My bill was $70. Why would I bother to inconvenience my trip and return to the store to steal a $6 burger?! On showing the receipt it turns out the burger was forgotten by them. Received no apology whatsoever, just accusation. McDonalds has become a greedy, expensive, woke Company, I only eat here in case of emergency and nothing else is open. I’ll continue to avoid at all costs.

I would give negative star if possible. Horrible customer service. We waited over five minutes before being acknowledged. When our food was done they sat it on the counter, mumbled a number and walked away. We finally asked ( after waiting about seven or eight minutes)another customer if they had ordered food. They had not so we knew it was ours. They didn't give us our drinks. We waited another five minutes, while watching a lead person have a meltdown at the register, to get acknowledged to ask for our drinks. We asked for a drink carrier that was tossed on the counter in our direction. Ridiculous!!

Let's me start off with I don't eat fast food much, so when I do I expect it to be hot. Well today the chicken nuggets were COLD and stale, fries were warm not fresh and the new smokey double that they charge $13 for just the sandwich and can't even get the no sauce part of the order right. My advice go have a nice fresh made burger and fries from any sit down restaurant for less.

Order 2 unsweetened teas. Took 20 minutes. Many guest complaining wrong orders in drive through. One guest commented they were in drive thru and was asked to park and wait for order, it had been 28 minutes. Other guest were still waiting for food that was more than, 20 minutes. This location has been remodeled and is now un inviting and poor service.

Stopped for breakfast. The second Lane wasn’t working, but there were no signs up and we sat while 3 cars went through the other lane. When we pulled up to tell them that they didn’t take our order, the manager was rude and started waiving her hand for us to tell her what we wanted so we could go away. Rudest person that acted like it was our fault the lane wasn’t working and we should know it. We left after her rude gesture. She refused to tell us who the owner was.

This place is infested with flies. we stopped and headed to Reno for lunch it was busy but you noticed the flys. On our way back through we stopped during dinner and it was empty with no one at the counters and no one came out. we ordered on the self ordered and you could see that the flys were all over. The restaurant was hot and muggy so we grabbed our food and left. I hope the owner of this place can come in and grab lunch and sit at his tables with the employees see if they like to eat there.

No front counter person. Everything is done or ordered via kiosks. After ordering, I waited 25 minutes for a take out order. Kid meal and a chicken sandwich. Absolutely RIDICULOUS! Not one employee acknowledged any customers. Allemployees headed outside to deliver food to drive thru customers. Our number was called and the bag put on the counter and employee headed to the back. I will not return to this McDonald's.

Really disappointed with every McDonald’s I go to it seems. Doesn’t even have a drink station so if you want a refill you have to find someone. Too bad they don’t actually talk to customers so you can’t find someone. They remodeled the place you you need to lean over the counter just to see the people who work there. If I wasn’t traveling I wouldn’t have stopped here.

The food is not assembled correctly, grease on buns, and packaging. The chicken nuggets were not completely cooked. New fries on top of old fries when served. We were here for over an hour, and no one checked the lobby or restrooms. There apparently there is more focus on labor costs, and times then customer service. Most evenings when you come by the restaurant all the exterior lights, including the sign is off, the store looks closed! The AG Dillon was very helpful in resolving our issues.

Terrible customer service I think that McDonald’s takes so much pride in overpaying their employees, that they under staff. We waited over 20 minutes and never got served. Fast food, food is supposed to be served timely. If I wanted to sit down And take my time, I would go to a better restaurant.

Horrible! My family and I went in on Monday evening 9/1/25. Both quarter w/cheese were horrible. Ordered deluxes and they gave us plain, with hardly any ketchup and nothing else. One had two bottom buns. Ordered a fish filet with light sauce and they put ton of extra sauce on it Ordered two cheeseburgers and they wrapped them in the cheeseburger wrappings but neither had cheese. Ordered 20 pc nuggets and they weee cold. It was very clear that this was done intentionally. We ordered our food to go as we were on the road. Worst McDonald’s ever!

Stopped here on 2 separate occasions during a trip out of state. On both occasions, the service was horrible, even canceling my order for just a couple of drinks. Staff were rude and unhelpful on both visits. I had to wait over 20 minutes to get my drinks once my drinks only order was re-placed. I will be avoiding this location in the future.

Came in on a Sunday morning at 9 am driving through while moving out of Oregon, got a McMuffin, bread was stale and hard, ham was dry, egg tasted well beyond expiration. Do better. Have some pride in your food.

There was food on the floor under all the tables. We had to ask for the table to be wiped and the food was sub-par to say the least (let's just say the Mc crispy strips were Mc nasty). Men's bathroom was rather dirty with toilet paper littered all over the stall floor and to top it off I had to manually flush the "self flushing toilet". Whoever was in charge of music kept fast forwarding through some bangers so we only got to listen to bits and pieces of songs for a whole 30 minutes and it was driving me crazy that they wouldn't stay on a song for more than 5 seconds. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to and that's saying something because I've been to some pretty bad McDonalds before.

Ordered 2 dbl cheeseburgers in the drive thru. Received 2 regular cheeseburgers. Old hard nasty obvious "sandbag" cheeseburgers. Went inside to straighten it out. No clerk in front. I had to waive over someone from the kitchen who was annoyed at having to be bothered to fix my order. The dbl cheeseburgers were worse than the cheeseburgers. Dry bun, gross meat. I tossed them in the trash. Not worth the poison in your body if it isn't even good and fresh. All of the food given had to have been at least 1, maybe 2 hours old.
