Red House Sustinente Reviews
On Saturday, November 30, 2024, the restaurant turns thirty, still under the same management. I've been coming ever since, and I never tire. Every time I go in, it feels like Christmas Eve, even at the end of July. Challenge Anna to make you a super spicy bruschetta and try to finish it—you'll lose. Red House forever.
The real english pub!
Fantastic place!!! Full of musical history!! A classic English pub, they don't exist anymore. The food is excellent, both the burgers and the burritos are "very digestible." As for the beers: a wide selection, with some well-known brands and some lesser-known but truly remarkable ones. Low prices. A place I'll be returning to often.
My girlfriend is from the area, and after dinner we decided to go play darts and have a drink. It's a magnificent, superlative place! Friendly and helpful staff, a wide selection of beers and other drinks. Super fair prices! I recommend it.
The beer selection and food are always excellent: I've known the Red House for many years and it never disappoints, plus the prices are more than fair. What really sets it apart, however, is the atmosphere and personality of the place: one of the few authentic pubs in Mantua and the surrounding area.
As I was walking down the street, this place immediately attracted me, with its warm lights, which were immediately noticeable from the street. I stopped, went in, and wow, a fantastic location, in pure London pub style. Lots of posters, lamps, memorabilia. The food is good, from what I tried. Wide selection of beers, including many Belgian ones. Friendly and helpful staff. There's a bathroom. There are plenty of places to sit inside, with plenty of tables and armchairs, you can play darts, listen to good music, in a super cozy atmosphere. There are also tables outside. What can I say, I'll be happy to return, you should try it too, it's a must! Bye🤙🏻😁😁
I recently discovered this place, even though I live in the area. It's an excellent place located in a tiny, out-of-the-way village—in the middle of nowhere, you might almost say. But it's special, magnificent, and unique precisely because of this, precisely because of its solitary glow until late, like a beacon in the night, bringing life to a peripheral area devoid of other worthwhile offerings with its red lights, distinctive spirit, and varied, delicious food served even at night (there's even fried gnocco). A refuge for night owls, it offers an atmosphere and quality superior even to similar establishments in larger towns.
A real pub; if you want excellent beer, this is the place to come. They have a wide selection of beers and various snacks, comfortable lounges with sofas, various board games, and, most importantly, a darts room. The atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly, the owner is friendly and very personable, and the price is average. In conclusion, if you want to spend a nice evening with friends, I highly recommend this pub. PS: I recommend the Ascoli olives (they're delicious).
I've known and frequented this place since my earliest days hanging out with friends... On cold, foggy evenings, the Red House is a lifeline for those who live in the area. The unique thing about this place used to be that it was best to turn off your phone and joke around with friends since you were shielded. A typical English pub where you can enjoy one beer after another, in the good company of Fabio and his almost infinite knowledge of music. Try it and believe it...
Reddddd
Top!!!
Bratish padana valley Music and beer
Legendary Irish Pub in the area; probably the oldest remaining. Entering the Red House feels like crossing a time-travel portal into a rock/blues temple of years gone by: low lighting and red-colored wallpaper, with walls literally covered in frames featuring photos of countless singers, guitarists, and musicians who have shaped music history, inspire a sense of reverence for the ever-present themed music selection, specially chosen by Fabio. The friendliness and expertise of Annalisa and her staff are second only to the quality of the beers and cuisine. A large selection of draft beers, with some seasonally rotating taps, always makes returning to the Red House a worthwhile experience. The kitchen offers a wide selection of excellent sandwiches and burgers, as well as traditional fried foods, piadinas, and more. Themed nights with special dishes are regularly offered. Another key feature of the venue is the live music offered at some events, primarily classic rock, blues, and jazz. Highly recommended!
Nice place, great beer, and live music. The owner, a music expert and musician himself, chats with patrons, covering genres, artists, and bands from the last half century. The fact that he's a Juventus fan only partially detracts from his friendliness :-)
The atmosphere of a '90s English pub is great. One of my favorite places! Annalisa, the owner, is kind, friendly, and helpful: after asking, she even adapted and now offers gluten-free beers. The evenings with live music are a must-see; booking a table well in advance is highly recommended!
The place is very quaint, packed with photos of singers and other acts. The lighting is very dim, but unfortunately the space is a bit cramped. The beer selection is excellent, the food is good, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There's always live music here, and celebrities have often graced the stage. It's always fun, and I recommend it to everyone.
It was too crowded, I left immediately, which was a shame because the place is very nice.
