Amole's Sweetwater Reviews
The food is good, and the service is also decent. Sometimes a little understaffed. But I understand how that goes sometimes. If you want a good meal, I recommend this place.
The food was good. A little bland for Mexican food, but I'm used to hot, and I realize they have to cater to many tastes. The salsa was good. Spicy. The service was exemplary. The lady that waited on us checked in often to see if we needed anything, and ask if everything was alright. My only complaint was that we sat at the table in the back left corner of the dining room and the intake for the HVAC system looked as though it hasn't been cleaned since the building was built. That register sits right over the table where we sat, and it didn't encourage my appetite at all to think what was falling from the grate. It definitely needs a good cleaning! Aside from that, I would recommend the place. While paying, I noticed a good selection of Mexican sweet bread at the front counter. I will go again.
The food was fresh and quick.
Outstanding service and great food! The waitstaff is consistently pleasant and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal—the food is very good and satisfying. My only minor suggestion for the restaurant would be to enhance the flavor of the salsa and tea
The food was very good, and everyone enjoyed their meal. My only issue was with the chairs, they were very uncomfortable.
Alot of food, but pretty flavorless for a Mexican restaurant. 2 meals and came out to almost 36 dollars. Kind of run down and outdated, but did love the plants. Our waitress was nice as well and did a good job on making sure we were taken care of. Overall I wasn't thrilled but it was an ok experience, don't think we will be returning tho.
Stopped into Amole after the rafflesnake round up, had plenty of cars so we thought it was a good sign. Atmosphere was inviting, service was friendly. Food not so good. Chips were stale, food presentation was nice but very bland with no flavor, had a very wierd flavor, tortillas were cold and hard. Not a fan! Next go round were trying the other Mexican restaurant.
This place was not good. No tequila margaritas, since they are made with wine. The roja salsa is plain, it lacks the chunky Tex-Mex pico de gallo style. The heated tortilla chips are the basic restaurant thick bland. The cheese covered refried beans were dry and crusty. I ordered the tamales without any sauce, but they were served covered with a bland red sauce. They then brought a separate verde sauce. I will not return.
Been eating here and ordering burritos since the dawn of time. Gave me 2 tiny burritos today that were NOWHERE close to being a reasonable size. Well, I've got a solution for that. I won't eat here anymore. No thank you, I'm still hungry and have to go buy some more food.
