We are so grateful to Danny’s Kitchen for their generous donation of delicious spring rolls and fortune cookies to our school’s Multicultural event! The spring rolls were a huge hit with students, staff, and families alike—crispy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s heartwarming to see a local business support our community in such a meaningful way. Thank you for your kindness and incredible food—you truly helped make our event special! We’ll definitely be back for more and I encourage you all to try as well! We’ve done take out from them in the past and the food is always delicious!

Recently started working in the area and was looking for a good Chinese place for take out lunch when a co-worker recommended Danny’s. I couldn’t thank her enough. Everything was fresh and delicious. The house special lomein was loaded with proteins and the general Tso’s chicken was an excellent version. I really loved the dumplings in garlic sauce as well as Danny’s shrimp. The shrimp were large and there were a good amount of them. All the classics done well but when o saw a Philly cheesesteak eggroll and a Reuben egg roll on the menu I had to order. Both were delicious but the Philly is one I’ll go back over and over for. So happy to have found amazing take out Chinese in the syosset area. Hidden gem and I hear they have 2 additional locations in bellmore and Oceanside.

I was in the area and wanted lunch and was suggested this little Chinese place. It was a few minutes away, but i ended up getting there almost as soon as it opened and ordering lunch for me and my coworkers. I got the hot and doozy szechuan beef lunch special with white rice. It came with an option of an egg roll or soup. I probably should have gotten the soup cause the egg roll was kind of soggy and underwhelming. Food was great though. Pretty big portion for a 10 dollar lunch combo. If I'm working in the area again I'd definitely try something else on the menu. Only other complaint was that it took a little bit to get my order, but it was completely understandable because we got there very early and they were getting flooded with orders.

Wow ordered on Ubers eat for the family and we were amazed. This is by far one of the best Chinese cuisines we have tried. Great deal on Uber eats as well, buy one get one free. We got chicken lo mein and sesame chicken entree. Amazing !

What started out as a one star review has now become a five. I had a problem with the way a delivery order came as well as the way the mistake was initially handled. The owner, Randy, reached out to me the following day. He was kind, apologetic and completely owned up to the situation and made it right. What a gentleman. Their food is consistently delicious and I will continue to keep their takeout menu at the top of my pile.

Danny’s Chinese Kitchen in Syosset offers a fantastic dining experience. Not only is the food incredibly delicious, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients, but it also seems to work wonders for digestion. I found it surprisingly effective for relieving constipation — a unique benefit you won’t typically expect from a restaurant!

Got take out for lunch. The lunch specials were excellent value. I ordered the Singapore mei fun and shrimp lo mei. The dishes were delicious. Shrimp not overcooked. Egg drop and hot and sour soup flavorful. Good portion sizes. I will definitely order from here again!

Excellent! Thank you, I really wanted Chinese tonight & I got very pleasantly surprised. I'm new to around here & didn't know who to choose. But, someone is cooking good in this town, and it's you! Keep this cook**. The young lady who took my order was great, and the delivery guy too. Very Sweet. Hope you stay this way. Thanks again for a delightful experience. Ordered chow fun chicken with added sliced mushrooms. Side of ginger scallion sauce.

Time will tell but if the quality holds up... The quality of local Chinese takeout has declined in our area to the point where we just stopped ordering take out all together. It's sad to say that food quality of several local Chinese takeout establishments is way down and prices way up. I am fine with paying more but when I order beef w/ broccoli and get bin full of rubbery broccoli/w a little bit of beef....you've lost me. Danny's is new to Syosset and last night was our second time ordering take out from there. We are very happy so far. For both orders, our food was very good and the portions were what we expect. Online ordering is slick and has a ton of options. The restaurant forget to include our Large Egg Fried rice the second time we ordered from there. I called the store and they quickly resolved by refunding the missing item. They handled it politely and promptly. Stuff happens but they made it right with no questions. BTW, the egg fried rice is really good! The food there is really good so far. I ordered my personal fav, shrimp w/ lobster sauce. The shrimp were large and plump and cooked just right and overall very delicious. We are very pleased to have good quality Chinese food return to Syosset...ironic isn't it? FWIW to Danny's Chinese Kitchen....do not rest on your laurels. You're off to a good start here in Syosset so please please please do not cheap out and cut corners after you've gained a customer base. Also, the crab rangoons are a little to doughy for our liking :-)....but that is just my $.02

Some dishes are better than others. What I liked: garlic chicken (tasted very fresh, real chicken taste, good sauce), pork spring rolls (my favorite - very filling and perfectly fried), pork fried rice (very tasty), egg drop soup (very flavorful) What I did NOT like: moo shu shrimp (not much flavor), scallion pancakes (tasted like fried dough and greasy), meat dumplings (again, very greasy) But looking forward to trying other dishes. Worth a try if you’re craving Chinese takeout! There’s not a perfect place with dishes everyone will like - maybe you’ll find one that fits your taste buds here!

We did a few catering orders and it’s hit or miss on whether if they follow instructions for preferences or not. Regular take out, since they’re cranking them out, order preferences are 100% neglected despite calling or ordering from their website. Last night, everything was super salty. Had to throw it away or else I’ll end up with high blood pressure! Wonton soup was luke warm; nasty! I order out a lot because of super busy schedule, so I am looking for places that by default uses low sodium. This is definitely not one of those!

Incredibly underwhelming. No idea why this place was nominated as one of the best, because it's actually one of the worst, and expensive. I'm an avid Chinese food eater, and this was the most mediocre and flavorless Chinese food I've ever had. The portion sizes are tiny, yet double the price of what I could get elsewhere. The service was also disappointing. I'm only giving two stars as to not be rude. I will definitely not be coming back.

Dannys is an interesting Chinese take out. Their food has the ability to be excellent and their online menu is very well thought out but... they don't seem to care about instructions or even phone calls to insure that the online choices are followed. Case and point - ordered lo mein with roast pork. On the online ordering you have many choices, spicy or not, type of sauce and how much you'd like unfortunately ordering mild spicy and extra sauce doesn't matter to them, arrives with little to no sauce and very spicy. Not once, not twice, but three times. As a side note their egg rolls were very good in the beginning now its cabbage in a fried shell. Need to get their act together.

Since this place had good reviews we decided to give this a try. I feel like the people who gave it these reviews have never had good Chinese food. This food was not good at all. Fried chicken dumplings were more like tasteless fried chicken raviolis. The chicken fried rice had no taste whatsoever and the Szechuan beef was tasteless and chewy. The only half way decent thing was the general tso chicken, the white and brown rice (how do you screw up rice) and the easy ordering and pickup. Definitely won’t be back.

Terrible. I ordered two seasme chicken with brocali. OMG, the chicken looks like a week old . It's so hard that I can't even chew it . All the food will be dumped in Garbage. I don't know how they can sell something like this to humans.

Horrible food, got a few half tray of dishes for a small party. The sesame shrimp is really bad, damn thing is 100 percent hard dough, Is the most disgusting dish i ever had. We end up tossing the whole tray out. Chicken broccoli and mei fun was average. White Rice they give us was hard as hell, I Will never go back. Funny how they pride themself of having better quality food over other family owned Chinese take out. I don’t think they are doing a good job.

Used to be good, but food quality has gone down a lot. I ordered a "chef's special" entree for $25 and it was packed in a small container that was 3/4 full of white rice. Quality of food was better before too, last two times it seems it has gone down a lot. Guess it's time to move on.

We had our food delivered. We did not enjoy the small order of the shrimp and lobster sauce at all and it was expensive $10.85. The sauce tasted burned..as if it were heated way too long. . The chicken chow mein was not tasty at all. We did enjoy the boneless ribs and veg lo mein..but 2 of the four is not a good number. Ellen (when you ask that the food to be left at the door...the driver should not buzz us several times. I have texts for that information when the delivery is made.

I’ve been coming to this Chinese restaurant for a while now, and I usually pick up my food with my small scooter. It’s never been an issue — until last time. When I walked in to get my order, I paid as soon as I got in but after just paying, the guy at the counter, a white man, told me to wait outside because of my scooter. There was no sign saying scooters aren’t allowed, and I wasn’t even planning to eat there — I just needed to grab my food and go. It would’ve taken maybe two minutes. What made it worse was that it was a really hot day. The sun was directly in front of the restaurant and there was no shade outside. Yet he still insisted I wait out there, like I didn’t deserve to stand inside for even a minute. It honestly felt rude and humiliating — like I was being treated differently for no good reason. I’ve always liked this place, but after that experience, I don’t think I can come back. I honestly don’t see the point of asking someone to wait outside for such a short pickup, especially when it has never been an issue before. His attitude felt rude and unnecessary. It’s disappointing to experience that kind of treatment in a place I’ve supported before. It’s upsetting when someone shows you that kind of disrespect over something so small.

I order all the time from here with fantastic results and great food. Today I am highly disappointed we didn't get the egg rolls we ordered they gave us veggie rolls instead which no one in my family likes so those are all garbage now . We don't have what we wanted to eat for dinner now. And fries are burnt when they were requested to actually be on the light side. So so disappointed and now hungry 😞
