Bahama Breeze Tampa Reviews
The family went here for lunch after church a few weeks ago and everyone pretty much loved their food. The only two complaints were one of the kids thought the coconut shrimp was a bit too sweet, and it was a bit chilly that day so we sat outside instead of the AC-chilled inside. But even outside due to the wind, it got chilly and it took awhile for the staff to respond and close the flaps to protect customers from the chilly wind. Other than that, loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed my food, will definitely go back. I had the glazed salmon with sweet potato mash and green beans. I drank a King Carnival, and we shared the chocolate island dessert.
Ok.. Food is always great! BUT Alberto made this visit unique and amazing. Not only he took care of the hospitality service by offering great menu advice, he also added a great human touch you cant posibly pay for. I will be rocking this Bahama Breeze socks way longer than the chain will keep its name, but I will come back to see him regardless of what uniform he wears. Kuddos Alberto!!
I have been coming here for 20 years, the food is always outstanding, the service is top notch and the people who work there are friendly and cheerful. Definitely recommend it for get-togethers. It's close to the airport, so always convenient to meet people there who are passing through and have a bit of authentic Florida food and atmosphere while you're there. Lots of outdoor seating and usually live music.
Great food and drink . I loved the music and vibes also . My waitress was really nice also and the location on the water made it special. I do want to come back and the friendly staff made it memorable.
This place has the vibe and the employees pass the Vibe check. More important tne food was great. I had the lobster and shrimp. I added extra sauce. Check out my video...it was delicious. Oysters on a half shell... they got multiple flavors. I can pick a favorite before you ask. Here is the scoop. GO enjoy wait try that chowder...I had to get some to go. Live band and plenty of free parking. Check out my page @Iamadventurousdrew on IG
I’ve dined at the Bahama Breeze in Tampa a few times and have to say it’s always impressive!!! It was a pretty busy night tonight, but was seated as soon as we arrived which was nice!! Server was friendly and did a great job with everything!! Drinks were great, food was colorful, with great presentation and flavor!!! Dessert was absolutely amazing in presentation and flavor!!!! The entire restaurant is festive with tropical music and meticulous foliage all around the property!! Great job to the kitchen staff on their culinary & plating skills!!!
No wonder this place is very popular with locals. The roasted oysters are well seasoned and juicy. The service is attentive and friendly. Great place to relax.
Seafood Paella was outstanding! Atmosphere was nostalgic. Service was above average and Mohitos were to die for! The ONLY thing they could improve is maybe have some live island music or something.
Met up with a friend for dinner Friday night around 6:30/7. We were immediately seated outside with a beautiful view of the water. We each ordered a bar drink which came out quickly and they were delicious! She got a dragonfruit margarita and I had a strawberry daiquiri. 😋 We had the yuca cheese sticks to start and OH MY LANTA! They were sooooo good, they came with two different dips, one cilantro based & one siracha based, both delicious. My friend had the shrimp pineapple bowl which was packed with flavor and beautifully presented & I had grilled chicken with cilantro crema & mashed sweet potatoes, the chicken was perfectly cooked and the sweet potatoes were just sweet enough but not overbearing. (Pic of my food below) 10/10 will be back again!
Stunning setting with plenty of parking, all the usual Bahama Breeze favourites. The coconut shrimp tacos were amazing. Friendly service and good value.
So nice and relaxing! To get away from the kids for a bit! We definitely had the best server Graham!! He was so welcoming and fun to talk to! If we come back we will definitely be asking for him! GO BILLS!
Nice view, great service, nice live music, plenty of parking. I suggest making a reservation first, which is very easy, you can do it on google. Otherwise you may need to wait a bit to get seated. There was a little line for the people who did not have reservations.
Love the tropical Caribbean flavors used in their dishes. The atmosphere is amazing, enjoying the breeze with a view of the water. Best Cuban sandwiches, amazing coconut shrimp tacos, and tropical chicken salad.
Service was phenomenal!!! Would go back even just for that! Our waiter was really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had a few mistakes with my order (totally my fault because I ordered the wrong thing) and they were quick to fix with no trouble. The food itself was yummy! I got the slushy drink and the curry pork chop. My friend got a mushroom pasta dish. All of it made more the better by sitting next to a great view of the water. We got really lucky being in Florida’s stormy season in that the rain that had just poured moments earlier, revealed a rainbow that we watched right outside the window. Big windows to look at the water. There’s also an outdoor seating area, but with how hot it’s been lately with the record breaking heat wave? No thanks lol! I would definitely return and try a few other items on the menu. They all sound amazing and you can smell the food of other customers on your way out and I’m already hungry after I’ve just eaten.
We had a fantastic night celebrating my Mom's 90th Birthday! We reserved the Bayview private area. It is an amazing area to celebrate with friends and family, the kiddos enjoyed it too. The food, drinks the service and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect!! My Mom had an awesome birthday!! 🥳
Alberto was a great server. Food was awesome. Drinks were strong and tasty. It’s my fourth time eating here and I will continue to recommend it to others.
Im very impressed this is an amazing place !! This was my first time and it was awesome!! I wasn’t expecting anything different!! But i love it !! The atmosphere is so cool the place is big clean and beautiful!! The service is excellent… and the food is very good!! The view is something else!! Its was packed but I didn’t even feel the time!! I really recommend this amazing place.. i was there on a Saturday and they have live music!! Im definitely going to be back again!!
Had Thanksgiving brunch and it was so worth it. The turkey was super tender, the gravy was pure comfort, the sweet potatoes were creamy and delicious, and the stuffing with the green beans + cranberry sauce gave the perfect sweet-tangy combo. But the real MVP was our server, Lizzy she was super friendly, checked on us often, and made sure everything came out just right. Holiday vibes, great food, and amazing service. 10/10 would come back and ask for Lizzy again.
Came to grab some appetizers and drinks from lunch. Our server Alberto was fabulous and attentive he recommended some great drinks that I would love to get again. Thanks so much for a great experience and good ambiance
We recently celebrated our company holiday at Bahama Breeze with over 50 team members. Eric Class and his team, Katrina, Kam, and JD, were absolutely incredible! They ensured that everyone was well taken care of and our drinks were always filled. The food was delicious! I had the jerk chicken pasta, which was incredibly filling and flavorful. I truly appreciate everything Eric and his team did to make us feel warm and welcome. They patiently answered all our questions with grace. We will definitely be returning for many years to come.
Had a fantastic time at Bahama Breeze! It really feels like a tropical escape the moment you walk in. The live music was great and the atmosphere was super relaxing. We ordered the Coconut Shrimp and the Jerk Chicken Pasta, both were delicious and packed with flavor. Our server was attentive and recommended the Bahamarita, which was perfect. Highly recommend for a fun night out!
With our whole team in Tampa and staying within walking distance at the Westin, this was an easy choice for a gathering. They arranged the rear dining room, set up an open bar and a table with finger foods. More than 50 of us crowded into here, drinking, eating and socializing. The venue is nice. It's a little upscale compared to many and the service was excellent. My Bahama Mama was strong, fruity and delicious. And thankfully, I had only the one. The food in the chafing dishes was great. A selection of their appetizers including beef empanadas, cheese sticks and whole jerk chicken wings. Nice.
Great food and excellent service! We had a wonderful experience at Bahama Breeze in Clearwater, Florida. The food was delicious, flavorful, and served fresh. What really made the visit stand out was our server, Michael Muhar. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. His professionalism and warm personality truly enhanced our dining experience. Great food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere—we’ll definitely be back! Ann & Eunice
Food was delicious. Tacos a bit sweet but still very tasty. Mike M was a great server and the atmosphere and view was amazing. Bartender served amazing drinks.
We had a great time as usual. We already know that this particular place with the water front is so special, but what made our night memorable was the amazing service of the staff. I was drinking coconut mojito (highly recommend it). As an aperitazer we share a crab with cheese and tortilla chips that as absolutely delicious.
Mary Suarez has been wonderful. First time my mother in law visits. She doesnt speak English and she fluently explained the menu and made the best recommendations. We will sure return with even more family here thanks to Mary!!!
I went on a Friday evening. It was super busy so there was a 20 minute wait but it was worth it. There was a live band performing outside by the water. The food was great! The crab dip had lots of lump blue crab meat and the conch fritters were packed with lots of Bahamian flavor. The menu has been updated with some new drinks, my girlfriend and I each ordered a flight and shared the drinks. Our server was Sandra, she made great recommendations for food and drinks and made sure my water cup was full at all times. I will definitely be returning.
We went to the restaurant a long time ago and we want to try it again. The food was good. I like the ribs and the fries (so goooooood). The Bahamarita was good, but not what I expected ( the old picture of the bahamarita is in my profile. The layers of colors were not there) . About the deserts, the flaming pineapple butter cake, LOVE THE PRESENTATION, when they use rum to flame it, but the taste was very strong. But the butter cake (LOVE IT) with the pineapple and ice cream are amazing. The keylime was a little too sweet and the merengue was not sweet 😅. Overall, I can tell that the experience was very nice, the environment, the music, the view. Is a nice place to eat and enjoy.
Nice island atmosphere with a attractive interior space. The food was tasty at a medium price point. I enjoyed pulled pork goodness lunch combination plate. The men's room is very well air conditioned. UPDATE 2/10/2024: Very popular at the time of our visit. The service was excellent and the whole operation was handling the crowds efficiently. We had a reservation and when we arrived there was a substantial line. We were at a table in under 15 minutes. The food is consistently good and has that certain something that makes it Bahama Breeze island style. Our server Dee was lovely and made us feel right at home! Overall a great family experience on a cool Saturday evening.
It's wonderful having a restaurant that consistently provides delicious entrees and drinks, and friendly service in a casual Florida atmosphere. This location often has live music in their ample outdoor seating area overlooking the water. Bay breezes and strategically placed fans keep the area accessible through the summer. Management does a great job taking care of customer experience and has been gracious seating our large parties in a timely manner.
Loved the island atmosphere and entertainment at dinner and lunchtime. Visited 3 times for lunch, dinner, and dessert during our last trip to Tampa. Generous portion sizes, beautiful presentation, and tasty dishes. It's a very busy place so some waiting to get your table is expected. Pasta dishes and seafood paella are excellent. We also tried all 3 desserts and loved the keylime pie and the chocolate island mouse cake. The flaming pineapple rum cake was much better without the caramel topping - definitely not needed as it's a very fresh and sweet dessert as is. The service was always very friendly and courteous. Dylan was amazing! Will definitely visit on our next trip!
We came here with my 7 month old and had the best experience because of Darlene. Honestly one of the best servers I’ve had in my life. Attended to everything we needed as well as my child before we even asked. Food was excellent as always, but Darlene made our time here much more enjoyable.
Alberto was amazing! We were there for Bradley’s birthday, he made the night perfect. Food came out great. Everything was quick and accurate. The flaming butter cake is the best thing to have for a birthday! We will absolutely be back and ask for him.
I had a wonderful Saturday night sitting by the water. Our server was Alberto, he did a wonderful job and created a friendly and lasting impression. The food was great and his recommendations were spot on. The hot honey margarita was deliciius. We will definitely be back!
This was our group's second time having dinner at Bahama Breeze Tampa and it was wonderful! We had a great group dinner a couple years ago when we were in town for a meeting and knew we wanted to come back this year. The staff is fantastic, food and drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is great. We had private event space both times, but after our dinner ended some of our folks headed over to the dock bar to hang out a bit longer. Eric Class was our Event Manager for both our events. He is amazing!! He made sure everything was taken care of and flowed perfectly with no issues. They were very accommodating to those in our group with food allergies too. Chase and Katrina were just as amazing!! They went above and beyond to make sure our group was taken care of and everyone was having a great time :) I can't say enough good things about each of them. The food and drinks were delicious too - we loved everything. Highly recommend the mini beef empanadas and conch fritters. We will continue to come back when our group has meetings in Tampa! Thank you Eric, Chase, and Katrina!!
Traveled with the family to Tampa for the first time and decided to try something that was close by and ventured here. This place had a great atmosphere, very laid back, the outdoor seating was great.. loved the view!! Our server took the time to explain the menu when we told him it was our first time there, service was great. Food was amazing, very flavorful. If we are ever in the area we will definitely come back.
Couldn’t be happier, Bahama Breeze is a fantastic restaurant anytime of the day. Food was great, the weather was amazing and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. I’ve visited many of their different locations and quality is top notch. If you love Caribbean cuisine, this is a bucket list for sure.
Great place to have lunch. Its not directly on the bay but is set back in a canal area that can view the bay. The food was very delicious and flavorful. (We had coconut shrimp tacos and my daughter had chicken tenders) Service was excellent. We sat outside on the patio and it was very comfortable. Atmosphere was top notch. We saw dolphins swimming up for air a whole bunch of times during our visit, which really made the experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back, and cant wait to try more of the menu.
This Bahama Breeze is unlike any other. Sitting directly on bay with water views, it makes you feel like you are in the Bahamas (well sorta 😂). But who doesn’t like to dine waterfront? Reservations - I believe they take reservations, but because we went early(2pm) we were seated immediately right down by the water. Parking - They have ample parking in their lot. Menu - Typical BB menu, see online. We ordered Ultimate Pineapple (Alcohol and Non), Fire Cracker Shrimp, Jamaican Jerk Wings, Classic Wings, Cuban Bread, Paella, Pasta, and topped it off with a Flaming Butter Cake that was placed on fire. Service - Our waiter Callie was superb. She was very attentive to our needs, refills, and recommendations. Atmosphere - The restaurant sits on the bay and has a dock to walk out on. The restaurant is kid-friendly. There was even pet space along the water. Bar onsite.
I actually dined here twice on a recent business trip mostly initially because I could walk from the hotel to the restaurant. I would say both the the food and the service have been excellent. I enjoyed both the jerk chicken pineapple bowl and the stuffed plantain. The view is lovely even if you aren’t directly adjacent to the water. The waitress/waiter had excellent knowledge of the menu. The first waitress gave me a great recommendation on the coconut Mojito. Ernesto, the second visit, was able to help me choose between a pasta dish and the stuff plantains. Both were quick to refill glasses and food arrived quickly. Lots of fun music, but not a place for a quiet dinner.
We had a wonderful evening celebrating my sister's birthday. The restaurant was packed, and the kitchen was clearly weeded, but our waitress, Mary Suarez, was on her A-game. She made sure we had anything we needed, from drinks to sauces to extra utensils to to-go boxes. For a large party, our checks were all properly sorted at the end of the evening. Absolutely fantastic service.
Fantastic spot with island vibes! 🌴 Bahama Breeze in Tampa has great food, refreshing drinks, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The service is friendly and quick, and the Caribbean-inspired dishes are full of flavor — especially the seafood and cocktails. Perfect place to unwind, enjoy live music, and feel like you’re on vacation right in the city. 🍹☀️
Mack gave us phenomenal service! Offered some good food substitutions, was incredibly friendly, & catered above & beyond our needs. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience during my trip to visit my parents. Give this guy a raise!
Don’t confuse this either your local Bahama Breeze, this location is a lot more large scale. With a large dining room, a waterside view, and live music, you’ll get an experience like no other. The service was also really friendly with us. They handled our reservation smoothly. Our waiter was also very talented; he can handle many plates at once. The food is actually really good. The wings we got were spicy, and the main entrees were no exception. The skirt steak was flavorful and had good sides. The jerk chicken pasta is also great. However, I found the chicken and pancakes to be a disappointment. Overall, would recommend if you’re celebrating.
This is a fun place to visit. I came with my sister and niece. The appetizers and food were delicious. The drinks were as well. We came before happy hour, and lingered. There was a band playing live music by the time we left. Definitely a place to come and have a good time.
I'm so happy that I found this place! They have live music, great food, and awesome service! I only do reviews if a place is really really good, or REALLY bad. This place is great! Taylor, is an awesome bartender... in fact, all the bartenders I've encountered are awesome... most recently, Brian. There is also a guy named Sport... if he is your waiter, please tell him his name is awesome, and Dallas says hello!
I was a first timer here with my friend & we lucked out and got Darlin! She was the best! She made really great suggestions on some of the food and best house drinks. She even made sure we didn't have any food allergies. We shared the coconut shrimp and chicken wings & they were fantastic. 🍤🍗 My friend had the jerk shrimp pasta and she enjoyed it. I had the seafood paella & it was packed with flavor. 😋 The dragon fruit margarita & Bahama mama were both delicious.🍹 We were too stuffed to try dessert. We did enjoy the live music & the game playing in the background. 🎸🎶 🏈 I'll be back & I hope I get Darlin! Thank you for such wonderful service! You rock! 🤗
First time here and it was a delicious visit. Everything was cooked perfectly and the spices were right where they needed to be. The beef empanada is probably my favorite appetizer, has a really tasty curry taste and they are decent sizes. The main courses are a very appropriate amount of food, you're able to eat it all but not feel overwhelmingly stuffed. You can sit outside and look out at the water or sit inside and see the different Caribbean decor they have all over the restaurant. I'm not normally a huge seafood fan but this place is definitely a must try if you're in the area.
My family visited Orlando two weeks ago to go to Disney and Universal Studios. The first night we were there, we wanted to eat outside of the resorts, so we ventured off to find a good Jamaican restaurant and Bahama Breeze popped up. We really like the menu choices so we decided to make our way there from Disney Magic Kingdom. The restaurant itself was not overly crowded and we were seated as soon as we walked in. They had an outdoor seating area, but it was raining when we got there, so we opted to sit inside to stay dry. Our waitress was well versed in all of the offerings at the restaurant. She recommended a number of meals to us but we ultimately opted for a few appetizers and our main course meal. We also had our four year old son with us and there was something for him to eat there as well. Overall, the vibe of the restaurant was great. The food also tasted amazing. What was kind of weird was that the food was literally brought out in second after it was ordered. When we ordered our appetizers, they came out in about two minutes after ordering them. From there, we thought we had time before our entrees came out, so we ordered our entrees and they were literally brought out again two minutes later and we did not have a chance to finish and enjoy our appetizers. Other then that, it was an overall good experience and would revisit for another meal.
This place is perfect to visit with friends and family! It has such a warm and lively atmosphere, with a band that plays everything from Latin dance music to English pop hits. The food was absolutely delicious from the shrimp and patacones with chicken to the tuna and the amazing paella. We tried a little bit of everything and left more than satisfied. They also offer a wide variety of cocktails, though they were a bit too sweet for our taste but that’s something easy to improve. And the view of the beautiful ocean just made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!
I have frequented this establishment on numerous occasions, and it consistently meets expectations. Our company has hosted its Christmas party here. Live music is a regular feature every evening and during early weekend afternoons. Although it happened only once during my visit many years ago, it is worth noting that law enforcement may still be monitoring the intersection of Rocky Point Dr and W Courtney Campbell Causeway for individuals who fail to come to a complete stop at the stop sign before turning.
This place was packed tonight. Food took a while to get to us, but it was as expected. As someone who is also in the restaurant business, TJ killed it as a server! He have great food recommendations to my wife and I who have never been here before. He was courteous and attentive. We had a party of 10 and not a single one of us ever had an empty cup. Its a 40 minute drive for us, but we will definitely be back just because of his above and beyond service.
Bahama Breeze located at 3045 N Rocky Point Dr East in Tampa, Florida, is a very, very nice restaurant to dine and relax at. It sits right on the water. You can dine inside or outside. We dined outside on the patio and had a nice water view. We visited during the afternoon for lunch, and the environment was very relaxed. We were greeted and seated with no delay. The waitress was prompt and attentive, which is what you expect when you dine out. The drinks and the food were excellently prepared and served as colorful presentations and appealing, not just to the stomach, but to the eye as well. Their food is served in good portions and are delicious. There are restrooms available outside in the patio area, as well as inside the main dining room. After dining, you can walk down to the water, take pictures, and watch the dolphins swim around. If you have a boat, you can pull up to the dock, tie off, and have your meal. There is ample parking, and it is easy to locate. I recommend this restaurant to all. Please spread the word to family and friends about Bahama Breeze at Rocky Point in Tampa, Florida. Thank you for reading.
We decided to kick off Mother’s Day weekend with a pre-celebration lunch at Bahama Breeze, and it did not disappoint! 🌴 We came as a party of 7 and were too busy laughing, talking, and enjoying amazing food to take many pics—oops! 😄 You really can’t go wrong here. Whatever you’re craving, if it’s on the menu, it’s going to be delicious. From appetizers to entrees to drinks, everything hit the spot. Our waitress was fabulous—friendly, attentive, and full of good energy. Loved that management made the rounds to check on tables too. That personal touch goes a long way! Shoutout to the bartender as well—the drinks were spot on 🍹. And thank goodness we had a reservation because the crowd was rolling in heavy! Clearly a local favorite, and now we know why. The location is another plus—right by the water. After our meal, we took a little stroll and hung out by the water to soak in the view and good vibes. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for great food, fun atmosphere, and top-notch service. We’ll definitely be back! 😉
Alberto was amazing! He suggested the coconut Mojito and it was so so good! We all had the Snapper and it’s another fantastic choice. We will definitely be back and will ask for Alberto to be our server. He really made us feel special and was very attentive. Thanks for a wonderful place to spend time with family!
Our server Graham was outstanding. Not only quick with the food and drinks but the vibes he brought to our table today were exceptional! One of the best servers I’ve ever had at any restaurant. Great way to spend the day by the bay. Defiantly coming back and asking for Graham! Go Bills!!!
We eat here often and enjoy the deck area. The clam chowder is great and the seafood dip is amazing. I got the ahi tuna tango salad today for lunch and it was great. We love Bahama Breeze and the menu!!PLEASE DON'T CLOSE!! 🙏🫶
I really enjoyed my visit there and I have to say our server was superb! We had Mike M and he was so on top of everything that we never once had to wait on a refill or on anything we needed which was nice. He was also very courteous and made us feel welcome, I appreciated him being so attentive and kind as well. He made our night so pleasant because he made our experience there so good! He even told my brother happy birthday a few times, we will definitely be back!
Muchas Bendiciones. Muy rica la musica! Exquisito TODO!!
I will say all the food was amazing except my order. Compared to others at the table it was a little bit of a let down, still edible but only just. Others meals were very good! The ambiance was amazing and the mocktails 10/10😍
Our group had a great time at Bahama Breeze. Service was stellar. The restaurant has plenty of parking and the ambiance is lively and bright. A fully stocked bar offering a variety of cocktails, beer and wine options. The menu is exhaustive with island specialties. The crab dip and beef empanadas were really good. For the main course I tried the seafood paella. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. Pricing : Moderate high Will I return? For sure!
Update: I appreciate Bahama Breeze contacting me and making things right. They owned up to what happened and provided excellent customer service. Thank you! We usually love Bahama Breeze, but after our unfortunate experience last night, we have a hard time deciding whether to ever go back or not, especially this location. Our issues started once I ordered the medium rare filet. When they brought it out, the filet was extremely over cooked - definitely not med rare and more like well done. We politely told our server TJ if we could have another steak sent out. My partner ordered the Jerk Mahi which the Mahi itself absolutely had no flavor whatsoever. However, we were more upset with the steak being over cooked. After waiting about 15 mins for the new filet to be brought out, we decided to ask for a to go box and eat it at home since we ended up being at the restaurant longer than expected and honestly the vibes were just ruined. The manager Mel, or Mills (didn’t catch her name but asked our server what it was) brings out the filet and says absolutely nothing when bringing it out, no apology or anything. As she sets the plate down in front of me, she knocks my fork on the ground and does nothing. She then stands there and says she wants to watch me cut it to make sure it is right. Well since she knocked my fork on the ground, I had to use my finger and a knife to cut it open. She then sees my new filet is completely raw inside. She tells us “since you’re bringing it home, you can just cook it there”. We didn’t want to wait for another steak to be brought out, but her professionalism was just unbelievable. The steak was took off the bill, but her lack of accountability and her tone will forever be remembered when it comes to Bahama Breeze.
Nice food! Our service was a bit pressuring on us and took away foods real quickly asked for the check and when we about to tip, she was rude staring at the screen of the tablet “ pressing “ us of how much we gonna tip. Other than that. The music band is nice and the food was good. But our waiter wasn’t nice…
We visited Bahama Breeze with family and some friends on 01/01/2026. All of us got different meals. The empenadas were OK but not your traditional ones made of beef or chicken. They were also small in size. One ordered the salmon with rice and broccoli. I had a salad with black beans, corn and salmon. I did not like the corn but the salad was ok. I felt like the it could very well had other ingredients. Another ordered what appeared like a Cobb salad with stake. It looked delicious. What I noticed is that they focus alot on pineapple and mango for flavoring some of their meals. There are several options for shrimp, salmon and lobster & salmon dishes. I felt like the menu could improve to offer more traditional American dishes such as fish & chips, hamburgers, more soups, pasta & meatballs, etc. I didn't see plain lobster meals. I love salads and felt that they could improve in this area like adding more salads like Greek salads, etc. The options for different cocktails and margaritas were excellent. Parking, location and views are excellent. They have entertainment but not when we were there. Perhaps if they could implament some dishes from there partner restaurants the Bahama Breeze restaurants would have a greater success. We went to the Bahama Breeze on Rte 60 at Rocky Point. We grew up with family owning restaurants for many years. The tropical atmosphere, views and architectural of the restaurant is excellent. The food we had was overall good. Perhaps with new management, improved menus with more options this restaurant would very well excel.
The food was nothing short of amazing! Our daughter wanted a drink out of a pineapple during our vacation & Bahama breeze was recommended by others at the beach. It was a Friday night, they had live music, and we sat on the patio. The waitress was super rushed and impatient. I understand it was busy, but our daughter has Aphasia and Apraxia due to a stroke and she needs a little extra time to process and answer questions. While getting our drink order, the waitress literally walked away while my daughter was trying to answer her. I really liked my pineapple chicken bowl, my husband and daughter liked the shrimp tacos with the pineapple sauce (which has mango-im allergic-and mango isn't listed in the description! Originally I was ordering them so I'm glad I mentioned my allergy.) But my daughter didn't like the seafood paella. Overall, we loved the food and atmosphere & I am happy my daughter got her pineapple drink.
Had a good time here. The food was good and the waiters were polite. For a table of 14 persons, we could have used better attention on our orders as my kid was served lemon juice instead of lemonade which was a low for moment for his day.
We stopped into Bahama Breeze for New Years Eve for dinner. We made sure to get a reservation and they were very busy. Food took longer than usual due to the restaurant being very busy. Our food was all very good. The kids loved getting a drink in a pineapple. It was a nice view on the water but it was dark when we were there so we were not able to enjoy the view.
12/1/25 Lunch with J&M who picked us up from airport. Steak salad was pretty good tho there wasn't a ton of steak and it was a bit tough. Key Lime Pie is always good here. 11/5/24 birthday lunch with CC friends. Got the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was good but the salad dressing tasted like the oil was old.
A Taste of Paradise at Bahama Breeze Bahama Breeze delivered a slice of island paradise, especially with its fantastic waterfront location. The atmosphere was absolutely lovely, enhanced by the soothing sounds of live music. The food was just as impressive. We started with the conch fritters, which were a delightful surprise. While they weren't overflowing with conch, the flavors were spot on and truly yummy. The paella was a highlight, incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. The snapper was cooked to perfection with a beautiful texture, complemented by delicious toppings. If you're looking for a vibrant dining experience with great food and an unbeatable waterfront ambiance, Bahama Breeze is a must-visit!
The space looks nice. The food was lackluster. Ordered the filet and fries. I did not receive a filet mignon (as per the menu), the yuca frites were particularly dry, and the asparagus did not enhance the experience. They did not serve any sauces on the side that would have combined the plate together. The service felt rushed; there were many people, I understand. However it felt more as if we were a bother to them than anything else. The manager should provide a better work load to staff so they can cater more to their guests. The rest of the party did enjoy their food. I just lucked out this time.
Our server Dieu C was a bit rude. When she brought out the drinks, I ordered a coconut mojito that comes with a sugar cane stick garnish. Well the drink didn’t have one. I asked politely if she could bring me one. The second time she approached the table, I asked again and she stated “that’s she’s busy and will get to it when she can.” I understand as a server she’s busy, but her attitude and tone was outrageous and rude. I didn’t think it would be too much to ask for a garnish for a drink than comes with the actual drink, it’s even presented in the menu pictures online. My meal was also supposed to come with plantain chips with the grilled chicken and cilantro crema and that was also missing. Wouldn’t recommend her as a server, can’t even ask for a simple garnish.
I PRAY they don't retain Josh R. as an employee once this place turns into Yard House. He used to be awesome, but now his attitude and service are "absolutely horrid." I get it...people have bad days, but come on!!! Go to Mike instead. The service from him is much better, and he has never shown a negative attitude.
I use to love coming to this restaurant because of the scenery of the water and the openness of being able to enjoy eating outside, now it’s all covered so you can even see the water and the heaters are always constantly on, I asked twice for the heater above our table to be turned off and it never was, I honestly wish things can go back to how they used to be to, if it’s cold people can eat inside
I think the restaurant should change the name of the fish tacos 🌮 to desert 🏜 tacos. I say that because the fish on both sets of tacos we ordered was both extremely dry and old tasting. We couldn't even finish them. The dip was okay but very bland.
We visited Bahama Breeze for dinner one evening, and while the atmosphere has that tropical, vacation-vibe promise, the food and drinks just didn’t deliver for us. 🍹 Drinks: The cocktails were way too sweet — literally like someone poured sugar and alcohol into the glass without any balance. They weren’t well mixed, and the sweetness overwhelmed any nuance you’d hope for in a tropical drink. If you enjoy very sugary mixed drinks, this might work for you, but for us it was just too much. 🍽 Menu: The food menu was surprisingly small and felt limited for a full dinner experience. With a short list of items, we were hoping for standout quality — but instead it just felt ordinary and underwhelming. It really could use a refresh and some creativity to make the dishes feel exciting or special. 💡 Overall: Before you go, take a look at their menu online so you know what to expect — because walking in hoping for something memorable might lead to disappointment. The atmosphere is nice enough, but the sweetness of the drinks and lackluster menu options made this a “meh” dinner for us.
UPDATE: my husband woke up insanely dizzy and threw up for hours yesterday morning. The only thing it could've been was the shrimp tacos he had here the night before. Most likely food poisoning. Delicious food and big portions! we came here for our 2 yr anniversary, visiting from NY. Everything was great. Mike was very helpful and nice!
