PHO TAMPA Tampa Reviews
My husband and I always go to this place because it is by far the best pho in the Tampa Bay area. Practically the best in Florida. I always come here and the waiter is always so kind and I love the atmosphere!!!
Great hidden gem! I thought I’ve esten at all the Viet restaurants in my area… until now ! Came during weekday while it was slow so we were seated right away. Good came out quickly, service was quick! Waitress had a great sense of urgency (maybe too quick lol) but we’ll def be back!! Authentic Vietnamese for sure
I only ordered the egg rolls and crab Rangoon to go. Surprised to see that it’s not like any other egg rolls from every other Vietnamese restaurants. I just love it!!!! I have to go back and try their other food.
The service was excellent and the pho was outstanding! The broth was rich and flavorful, with a depth that really stood out. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. I’ll definitely be coming back! The young gentleman, our server was super friendly as well.
Really delicious pho noodle soup! The restaurant was nice, clean and comfortable. Our server, Huy, was really friendly and helpful! Recommend trying the P2 - the broth is super flavorful and the portions are really large for the price.
I have eaten at A LOT of Vietnamese restaurants and have friends who are Vietnamese (I eat at their home). This is the most authentic food I’ve ever had. I can’t wait for family to come to town to take them here. I’ve been raving about it all day.
Dang…. I wasn’t expecting the level of flavor I walked into today. We came on a whim and it was completely accidental. One of the better Pho’s for sure but what I wanna talk about is the FRIED RICE! It’s the best gosh darn fried rice I’ve EVERRRRR had. So incredibly delicious, flavorful and little crispy pieces of rice, absolute perfection. Honorable mention to the Vietnamese coffee. Don’t sleep on this place, ya’ll!
My spouse and I decided to try this out as a new place. We both ordered vegan options. We tried the golden dumplings which were delicate and delicious. We also tried the Vegan Chicken with lemongrass and the vegan stir fry with bean thread noodles. The lemongrass dish was very fragrant and spicy. The stir fry was full of vegetables, and had a tasty soy sauce. Both portions were very generous and we have enough leftovers for lunch. My spouse also had the Jasmine tea, and he said (as a tea snob) that it was a high quality tea. Our server was a very kind and attentive young lady who gave us ample time to review the menu, answered all of our questions, and never let our water glasses get empty.
I love Tran Noodle for being so inclusive to other diets! They include a VERY multifarious vegan menu and the food that’s on it is very tasty! Their tofu is very well cooked and the imitation pork spring roll is so yummy that I could probably get full off of those alone! When i asked to add vegan chicken to a dish, the waitress let me know that they can not do any add ins with vegan protein; my only complaint is that they allow for more customization in the future (: for now, it’s wonderful!

Was amazing! The broth was like something you've never had! It was unique, rich and packed with flavor. The egg rolls also was very good! Overall, great experience, atmosphere and customer service!
20/10 Amazing service, amazing food clean and just a great spot for some pho. We loved everything! My new spot for pho. Pricing wasn’t bad either, I had a party of 6 and spent 100$.
Exceptional Service with a smile! We received our Pho fresh and hot within minutes. It was authentic and tasty. Spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was really enjoyable.Place was busy at 1:30 in the afternoon so it was a good sign they are doing the right thing.
Ice water had no ice. They ran out of ice and couldn't make boba smoothies to go. They sent someone to purchase more ice, but we didn't want to wait. The Pho was amazing! They served us very fresh ingredients, and the egg rolls were delicious! It was weird that they served the food before the drinks, though. Overall, we had a great meal.

Updated review: Jan 2025 Have come back a couple time since original review and have become less of a fan after trying a few more dishes. Goi cuon has a seasoned pork rather than simply pork belly throwing the entire flavor profile off for the rolls. Definitely not a fan and prefer the authentic standard style much better. Banh xeo is lacking... So is the bun rieu... The tai oup meat (raw marinated meat) in their pho that was their stand out amongst pho places is supposed to be marinated but twice now, even when asking for it (since they no longer serve it standard, only upon request) has been just basic tai. Sadly disappointing... Sadly, based on these last few visits, I think I'm taking them off my list and going to be looking another go to spot.. 😪 Original Review: June 2024 Good authentic vietnamese food! Cha gio (vietnamese egg rolls) are made northern style using rice paper fried to a crisp - making them crispy and chewy! Different from southern style you usually see using wonton wrappers. Snails with coconut lemongrass broth was delicious!! Could eat that all day! Flavors were ON POINT! Pho broth had depth and richness to it. Two types of pho broths, clearer and darker - this was the darker version and the type that I prefer. Bun bo hue was tasty! The homemade sate on the side was a nice touch - flavorful and spicy. All portions were great value for the cost and each soup came loaded with meat and noodles. The herbs were all fresh and plentiful! Service was great and attentive! Highly recommend and will definitely be our new go to spot for pho! One request to the owners - please add che, nuoc mia, and nem nuong to the menu! Would keep us from having to go to other viet spots more south! 😜 Thank you for the great food!!

My 1st time here and also my last eating here. Got 2 bowl of beef noodles and mostly just noodles with about 5- 6 "very thin and small slices of beef", barely any meat. Only 1 staff running around. I also ordered two boba drinks (mine was a brown sugar milktea) and asked not too sweet and the drinks came out so sweet that we tossed it away. Doesn't even look like brown sugar drink compared to other places. I never ever have this little meats in a beef noodles before. Its just like I'm paying $16.95 for noodles only. Very disappointed for a 4.6 rating place.
So disappointed! Compared to other places A regular pho bowl felt like a small, barely any meat and noodles. I don’t understand how this place is a 4.6 rating. The only good thing I ca say about it was the flavors was there for the broth.
If you are into low quality greasy food. Less vegetables and less protein this is good for you. I think reviews are fake or ???? Food was greasy and oily (stir fried) with low quality ingredients. Your google map menu is out of date but also… Please on your website list ingredients of each dish. I never had ham inside my spring roll. It was disgustingly old and bad flavor. I never eat pork products and …

Do not recommend. Compared to other pho places, this is the worst I’ve tried. The portions are very small, with only a few bites of meat. The noodles were stuck together, as if they weren’t rinsed properly with cold water. When we asked for chili oil, they just mixed oil with chili instead of serving real chili oil. The jalapeños and bean sprouts were not fresh, especially the jalapeños. Another strange thing was that they charge the same amount for steak and noodles, which seemed questionable. Overall, it’s not a good place for pho. Most of the menu is Chinese food, and it doesn’t feel like an authentic pho spot.
Do Not go there. Microwave reheated chicken breast pieces were too dry to chew, we asked both waitress and manager for help but both refused to offer us other options. Manager told us we have to pay for the chicken pieces (it’s not the money, it’s the terrible food) The Vietnamese basil leaves are not clean either. Very bad business practice. Do not go there.
The bowl was big full with soup but the meat was very little like leftovers. I don’t recommend this place

Honestly it was horrible, I got the vermicelli combo bowl, egg rolls were hard and felt like they had been sitting all day, the beef and chicken were stringy and dry and the whole 2 shrimp while not horrible were small and dry. And I ordered it without lettuce and cucumbers and of course I got them included along with carrots that they didn't mention would be there. Not that asking for them to take them off would have mattered. Most anemic dish I've ever gotten for $17, plus $3 for Togo that wasn't mentioned on the menu. Overall never going back, even if it was free.
This has to be one of my top worst Pho restaurants. They charge extra for a large pho special, which comes to $18 or so. At such price, I expected much more, but it was like me making ramen noodles at home with a little bit of this and that. It was exactly what I got, a big bowl of soup that is half filled, barely anything, little meat, little noodle, little everything. Highway robbery! Very dishonest. The smoothie drink was not great, boba was hard. Overall bad experience, except for the waiter. You may need to find a new place soon, not sure how long this place will last if things doesn't change. Not sure if all these reviews are valid, but being ethical to your customers will keep you in business, and so far I don't see it here.

Food was absolutely pitiful. Like my bowl was on as much as a budget as I was. The Phó was super oily and lacking so much flavor. Pretty much bland. As oily as it was it still somehow tasted watered down. I ordered two types of meat. And barely got anything. Maybe 5 paper thin slices. The bowl was 95% broth with hardly any noodles or other toppings. Way expensive for what it’s worth. Don’t waste your money.
