The food was good, service fast and friendly. But prices? They have come down a little bit but we ordered 2 value meals, 3 cookies and 1 apple pie and it was over $30.
One of the classiest McDonald's I've ever been to, the atmosphere is absolutely amazing, very clean, the atmosphere speaks for itself it's just the location location. Great location brings great people. One of my daily go-tos for my mocha frappe in the morning. Thank you for being so amazing
The cashier wasn't very polite it seems like we were bothering instead of being welcoming
Just got the best Iced coffee around for a buck o seven ($1.07). The Caramel Iced Coffee is a must try item, if you like ☕️.
If I get a craving late this is where I go. One great thing about this specific McDonald’s is that rarely is the ice cream machine down. That’s usually the standard response when trying to order a McFlurry late at night but not here. Only one time they were having an issue with it and even then I waited a few minutes and they got it working again. I go in the drive through 90% of the time. They have 2 lanes and sometimes it moves slower than I would like but again that’s not all the time.
We came here for breakfast and for the most part it was a good experience. You know that the food quality is going to be typical of McDonald's unless something gets messed up. Nothing got messed up and so it was typical McDonald's. The lobby was clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were another story as they were trashed. Looked like someone was trying to steel the toilet paper and paper towel is the best case scenario. Overall the food was good but not sure why the men's room based on my experience and the women's room based on my wife's experience were both trashed.
For a McDonald's it was good. Actually had a staff member at the counter to assist, brought us out food and asked if we needed anything else. The food was hot, the order was correct, huge surprise compared to a lot of experiences
I like the app because you can get special deals on certain items but the thing I don't like is they won't let you buy a toy from the happy meals Separate.They want you to keep buying the happy meals to get the toy. We don't mind buying a few happy meals.But jeez give us a break and let us buy an extra toy. Please make better play yards inside for the kids. The one on rainbow and two fifteen.(badura) has a small one, but it has Really nothing good inside of there. Most of the mcdonald's don't even have a play Yard. Sometimes I like to go there with my grandson. But please put better safer things inside. They have this one contraption that my grandson just fell off of i'm not even sure of the purpose of it.
This place has horrible customer service. We waited in one of the 2 outside order services for drive-through and watched as 4 cars on the opposite side went through before they took our order. When we complained, the person taking our order became short and very rude! At the first window( which we were instructed to go to) the person said that the cars that were ahead of us had mobile orders. Nothing was mentioned to us nor did they even ask if we had a mobile order. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were ignored. After we received our food, they abruptly shut the window on us. Finally, after honking the horn to get their attention, the manager spoke to us. He really did offer an satisfying answers as to how he would handle the situation. We left with the idea that we will not go to this particular McDonald's agaim again. Oh well, lesson learned.
I don't know if it was timing, weather, or something else but these guys were regretfully off their game on our last visit... Every "waiting spot" (the 6 parking & 2 right in front of the drive thru) were full the entire time we waited... Took about 13-15 minutes to get our order after we pulled into a waiting spot (2 of the $6 meal deals) and we watched them go from vehicle to vehicle asking whose it was...my hubby commented that anyone could've taken anyone's order and just left. The burgers were still hot, nuggets were warm, 1 order of fries were warm and the other cooler. The ice tea was good, nice and strong.
TERRIBLE drive thru design and awful parking. And walk up window only works if you literally walked there because parking is awful. The Mc Donald's on Midway (also in Poimt Loma) is hardly any better but better of the two. I don't understand how with all of the technological advances how these places could be laid out SOOOO poorly.
Terrible quality food. Order was ready way too fast which means it wasn't fresh. Fries were stale and oversalted. Burger was inedible, patties were almost grayish color. I placed a mobile order but ate my meal in the restaurant. I guess they try to give all the mobile orders old food because they assume by the time we find out it's not fresh we would have already left. They weren't expecting me to stay in the lobby. Do better McDonald's staff. I will be going to Clairemont location going forward because they are consistent. Will not be returning here ever again. Sorry not sorry Also, it wasn't even 12 yet so there's no excuse for serving stale food to a paying customer, mobile order or not
The worst place I have been, don't come, front desk empty, burgers expensive for the quality, McDonald's now the worst place
I've gone to this McDonald's maybe 20 times now: about 13 out of the 20 times they didn't get my order right. As soon as I realize their constant mistakes, I call in, only to be told to come back for the correct order- no sort of compensation for the inconvenience. They're constantly rushing and never take the time to pay attention to detail. It's just a very sloppy operation as of the last year. Super disappointing.
People at the drive thru are super confused. I asked if they have oat milk and they said yes they can give it on the side. Then I get to the window and they don’t give me any for my coffee. Turns out they don’t have any. They also took down the wrong order for our breakfast. When I asked for a refund they won’t give it to me. Simple questions and confused staff. Just order on the app, don’t waste your time with the people there. Or go literally anywhere else
Manager Karina (Corina) however you spell her name, doesn’t know how to do her job nor does she know how coupons work. I purchased at another McDonalds and completed the receipt survey and got the code. She told me I can’t use it here and she only takes coupons from this McDonald’s. Who the heck is she? McDonald’s please help her and train her. That was the most stupid line I have heard EVER. There are multiple locations of this franchise for a reason.
Apparently staff always have a bad day, this place has attitude issues with your employees. Everyone struggles in life, there is no excuse to be rude.
I’ve tried calling several times. Each time the manager has hung up and refuses to identify herself. They completely messed up my order several times now and besides the manager being unprofessional, they refuse to make it right.
Annoying little girl at the window had an attitude just because I asked for some sauce even though they’re the ones that forgot it and then slammed the window in an aggressive manner. food is good though
There dr pepper has an orange taste to it and when I tried their sweet tea a different day it had a fruity mango taste, whcih McDonald's sweet tea never has anywhere else. Asked if there was another sweet tea they could pour from and it still tasted the same. Makes me worried that they don't clean their drink machines very well if other flavors are showing up in the drinks.
I’d give zero starts if I could. Got in from a long flight and my husband stopped in here to grab us dinner. We ordered via the app. When he got home they’d forgotten to give him my drink. Ok, things happen. Then I bit into my quarter pounder and gagged. It’s was full of paper!! Filed a complaint through the website but no response after 3 days. Not that difficult to completely fulfill the order and cook a burger. I won’t be back.
Lazy employees work here. Most of the time, when I order at this location, I choose the Table service option. More often than not, they don't bother to take it to your table and just leave your order on the counter. Then why even have a Table service option on the app, if you're just gonna make the customers walk up to the counter anyway? Before I posted this review, I decided I would give them a second chance. I ordered again, with table service. And once again, they left my order on the counter. It was the store manager who called my name and left it on the counter (and put my order in a to-go bag). I mentioned this to her after I pointed out the "Table" on the receipt. She said a fake "sorry", then "yeah yeah", and quickly walked away before I was done talking. And it's not like that place is crazy busy right now. When I walked in, there was no line in the drive through. Look at this photo. There's only me and 1 other customer inside of the entire place. There used to be 1 or 2 employees whom I used to see regularly cleaning tables, doing table service, and giving excellent customer service behind the counter. I haven't seen them in a long time. They probably quit.
I asked this guys about number 7 regular combo + double cheeseburger and trying to use my app deal + 1 chocolate shake. But they can't do it and after tell me have a good one. Lady who was unprofessional and disrespectful with me she sad what she's manager there. Its terrible what people like that working in MCDONALD'S. I find in 🍟 peace of black hair. I added pictures.
I have made several complaints to different managers at this location. The restrooms are always nasty. I wouldn't allow my child to use the bathrooms here the baby changer is dirt it has not been cleaned. I have notice staff do not wash their hands or wear gloves. I have watched a manage come in the bathroom and leave without washing their hands. Please hire clean employees and keep the bathrooms clean. To make an excuse it's because of certain people is disappointing.
The worst service! Coworkers have a horrible attitude! Going in to get food for my lunch at 1:00 am and only 1 person that’s taking orders and making the food in the kitchen. They need more professional people! Explain the picture for me! I will report this to the high management! As you can see the burger is bitten and the buns are fresh. I spoke to a manager on the phone, she didn’t even give her name. All she said was “RETURN THE BURGER AND ILL GIVE TOU CREDIT FOR THAT” that’s bulllllssshhhiiittttt.
