Un sitio que sorprende por su calidad y buen trato. Nos prepararon una mesa sin reserva y la experiencia fue de diez. Las tostas de atún, espectaculares en todas sus versiones, y el pescado en adobo, pura delicia. Para repetir sin duda!

Un sitio muy chulo en el centro de tarifa. Hay que esperar a que la persona encargada coja la libreta y entonces en ese momento se acerca a la pared donde espera la gente y va tomando nota para pedir mesa. Cogimos mesa adentro para comer un sábado y esperamos menos de 5'. El cazón de 10, el lomo estaba riquísimo con una salsa muy sabrosa así como las albóndigas de pollo. La supertosta (de atún) estuvo exquisita, el cazón perfecto y el pinchito que se llama bomba (crema de queso payo con un chicharrón fino por encima), sencillamente increíble, una explosión de sabor única. Fue una pena no poder repetir aquí, nos quedaron muchas cosas que probar. Totalmente recomendado, una calidad/precio de 10.

Qué rico se come aquí. Una terraza grande con muchas mesas y mucho ambiente. Comida de calidad y con buena relación calidad precio. El tataki de atún muy bueno, por 16€. La tosta de atún en manteca, muy rica. Lo mejor sin duda, las albóndigas de atún, con una salsa tremenda. Se come genial, por unos 20-25€ por persona. Servicio rápido y atento.

Una experiencia culinaria increíble. Todo lo que pedimos estaba delicioso y realizado con cariño. La atención de todas las personas que nos atendieron fue genial. Te apuntan en lista de espera, la cual va rápida y sin problemas te tomas tu bebida de pie mientras esperas tu mesa. Las albóndigas de atún estaban increiblemente deliciosas. Creo que es una parada obligatoria en Tarifa. Precio muy asequible.

Before anything, the staff is so lovely, helpful and friendly that you immediately get in a very good mood and feel welcomed there. Plus, the food is amazing! Each dish we ordered was very delicious, we were all happy with it. Price/quality is well balanced too, definitely recommended.

Delicious food and great atmosphere at Los Melli! We had the tuna tataki, patatas bravas, and tomato salad — everything was fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend if you’re in Tarifa!

Everything was amazing! The food, the service, the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend and come back. Best food I’ve had in Tarifa and the service was amazing. The cooked tuna, tomato and alioli tosta was amazing 10/10, the tuna meatballs 100/10, they were sooo good, you can’t miss them, and I wanted to try the eggplant with egg and payoyo (100/10) but it was too big so they did a 1/2 portion which was amazingly nice. Thank you so much Manuel! I’ll be back for sure. :)

Delicious food especially the artichokes, I wanted to try also another dish, but the waiter suggested me to avoid as it was a big portion for only one person. He was so kind that surprisingly put few of the fried green peppers together with the artichokes. This little gestures make a big difference very often. Muchas gracias otra vez

You’ve come to Tarifa for holidays and are enjoying the city, but you don’t know where to go eat great local food? Search no more - just come to Los Mellis! 🥰 We called to check if there were available tables and got one super fast (though in summer time I would recommend arriving in advance as you cannot reserve). Since we wanted to try different dishes, we ordered medias (that’s how you order half a dish in Spanish) to get more diverse dishes. The croquetas and albóndigas are totally out of this world! Absolute must have 💓 Summarizing: super high quality and very good prices + great service from all the staff and Manuel ☺️ Will come back for sure! ————— Lugar maravilloso y altamente recomendable en Tarifa! Comida muy rica y buen precio. Camareros atentos y simpáticos. Pedimos media de flamenquin, suelen traer 4 unidades pero pusieron 3, rápido vinieron a decirnos que se habían terminado y que nos hacían un descuento.

Un lugar de parada obligatoria. Perfecto para tomar unas tapas rápidas y una cerveza. Su situación ligeramente elevada permite una agradable brisa. Con respecto a otros años he visto que la carta se ha reducido bastante, y nos sentimos un poco forzados a abandonar la mesa con celeridad.

Las 4 tapas que pedimos estaban muy buenas. La mayoría del local es terraza por lo que dentro caben 4 gatos (aunque también tiene su gracia) el servicio simpático y amable. Precio correcto excepto la berenjena.

Bar mítico tarifeño con trato, servicio, calidad y precio notable. Pedimos chocos, huevas de maruca, tosta de atún picante, albóndigas de atun, berenjenas con huevo y payo y cazón. A destacar los chocos, la tosta de atún y las berenjenas con huevo y payoyo. Recomendamos ir tempranito para poder coger mesa.

The food is good, service friendly and the wait shorter that you might expect. But given the hype they try to turn tables quickly (really quick!). If you want to have a relaxed time with good conversations go to one of the other places in the same street. If you don’t mind def worth a visit.

Enjoyed the food. Nice little squared terrace. It was nice to try the las berenjenas con huevo y queso payoyo. (Fried eggplant with cheese and an egg on top). We also tried their patatas bravas and choco Frito (fried cuttlefish - sepia). The fried dishes were crispy and not oily or doughy at all. The cuttlefish was tender.

At the recommendation of a friend I decided to visit this restaurant and see for myself why it’s spoken so well about even if the google reviews are not that favorable. As they open at 19:30 and we were famished from visiting and walking all day long, we arrived at 19:40 and asked the waiter for a table. At that point the waiter said for which hour and i responded that I want it now, he rolled his eyes and said to sit where I want. After checking the menu, we were ready to order. Another waiter takes over and clearly was disturbed when asking details about certain dishes. During all conversation, the waiter didn’t smile once nor have a positive attitude. The food arrived and the plates were very big, that’s a total joyful moment for me. Everything was delicious apart the flamenquin which was a total disappointment. If it’s made in the restaurant that doesn’t make it “casero”. It was made from slices of cheap jamón like the supermarket ones rolled with cheese and deep fried. There was no trace of lomo as it should be. I don’t recommend at all this dish but instead it’s worth the lomo a la plancha or fritura variada. Overall the service is very bad, people working there look like they are obliged to do so but the food is very good (at least some of the dishes I tried). If you’re looking for a full nice experience this is not your restaurant but if you’re looking for big plates and homemade style food then this is your place to go

This tiny restaurant, located in the heart of Tarifa city center, is the perfect way to end your day. Here you can have a taste of the delicious Spanish cousine (croquetas and traditional tapas) and fresh seafood - grilled tuna is high recommanded. Since this is a small place, be ready to wait for a table or if not, make sure you are there as soon as they open. The staff is young, dynamic and friendly.

Bar céntrico en el casco antiguo de Tarifa. Fuimos por recomendación para probar el atún y la verdad es que lo trabajan genial, el mejor atún en manteca que hemos probado. Lo negativo fue el servicio que estaban saturados y que te meten "prisa" para dejar mesas libres.

Cenamos ahi y pedimos varias cosas para picar, tosta de atun con pistachos, tartar de atún y gambas al pilpil, la verdad que nada me llamo mucho la atención, lo encontré caro para lo que era, las tostas de atún no tenian tanto tampoco, y el tartar pequeño. Creo que esta sobrevalorado el restaurante para lo que es en realidad. 57€ por esa comida me parece excedido. Aparte de tener que esperar 1 hora lista de espera.

We had a dinner on Tuesday night,yesterday. The waiters are in a rush,they throw the menu on the table , pushing you to order in a minite ,and at the end the server forgot one items from four. I had to remind them , that we still waiting for the patatas bravas. Tried to be quick and served one ,but the potato was a bit raw in the middle… If you get good service ,and a better food would be ok

Well, you see a queue of people waiting for a table so you think it's worth it. No discussion about taste, but we Dutch/Polish aren't fans of tuna "meatballs". I fell in a rush knowing that people were waiting. Service was fine. Food was fine. 3 out of 5
