We were there last week, after many years away, and saw that it's still the same as always. Very good cider, Trabanco. Anyone can have that kind of cider, but at such a perfect temperature and poured so well, it's not so easy. The one pouring it was a young Paraguayan guy who, besides doing it very well, was a magnificent waiter. We started with some sea urchins, which were delicious, then some fried calamari, which were also very good, and a scrumptious lobster rice dish. We'll be back again this Sunday. 10/10.
Despite arriving without a reservation, they squeezed us in before the other reservations arrived. The woman was lovely, and the food was amazing. Scallops, octopus, and baby squid; for dessert, flan. Absolutely perfect. Note: Let the gentleman serve you the cider. He knows his stuff. Enjoy the drink, and that's it.
Last day of vacation in Tazones and we decided to treat ourselves... scallops, sea bream, clams and red mullet (I'd never tried ones this big and fresh)... everything incredible... the almond cake spectacular, all accompanied by Albariño in a spectacular town... They served us 10... Brutal
A pleasant surprise in Tazones with the La Tortuga restaurant. We arrived without a reservation and were served without any problems. They also recommend dishes if you have any questions, so the service was excellent. I really liked the food, especially the scallops, possibly the best I've ever eaten. The bonito tacos and baby squid were also finger-licking good, but the scallops were delicious, worthy of a second meal. The best value for money in this charming fishing village with spectacular sea views. This restaurant will not disappoint.
A magnificent experience. We arrived in the town of Tazones on August 15th, National Holiday, without a reservation. We inquired about a place to visit, and the kindness of the person preparing the restaurant tables prompted us to ask if they had a table for 9, and the entire team, together, did their best to prepare a table for 9 with total kindness. But the best was yet to come. The food was spectacular, everything fresh and delicious, and served with taste, on time, and with excellent service. A place to return to and definitely recommend.
Mbappe Totty.
Fantastic
Fantastic food, super fresh fish and lovely staff. The real deal.
Beautiful place, timely and candid attendance. Nice and fresh sea food
I went to Tazones with my family one day and decided to eat here. It's a place where the food is very good. We ordered salpicón, octopus, rice, and scallops. As for the service, it didn't take long to serve us, but at one point the manager said to a waitress, "Serve this table" (or something similar), to which she replied, "The Chinese woman can wait." I don't know what motive that woman has for making that statement when I'm an ordinary person like her. It's time to catch up and stop looking down on others regardless of their race. The other waiters, however, were wonderfully behaved and super friendly. As for the atmosphere, it was very good. I don't remember if there was music or not, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend putting it on. I'm giving it 4 stars for the reasons stated above.
Nicely authentic with local staff like most places in Tazones. The restaurant has a good range of fish and sea food on the money, plus the obligatory hand poured cider. Unfortunately all the food we had was over cooked and everything covered in oil.
