The restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and is located right underground in the Santana Hotel. The food and drinks are excellent. The bartender, Don Fernando, is very helpful and makes the best mojitos. We tried the Hawaiian pizza, and it's not just any pizza—you have to try it. 💯 Recommended

The service exceeds expectations, and the music relaxes you and allows you to experience it more intensely. I ordered a DELIGHTS PLATTER, which included cheeses, grapes, olives, guava paste, bolillito, and a unique house dressing! It left me with the urge to return soon! Bajo Tierra in Tecate is a very pleasant place to enjoy a good meal and spend time. The cheese board is very well done, the rib eye stands out for its flavor and cooking, and the Caesar salad, although delicious, could be a little fresher. To accompany it, the Aperol Spritz is very refreshing and balances the experience well. The facilities are very nice, with a carefully curated and welcoming atmosphere; however, it does feel quite hot even with the air conditioning, which makes it a bit uncomfortable. The place is kept clean and the staff is very friendly, always attentive and helpful. Overall, it's a good option in Tecate for good food, a good cocktail, and a pleasant time, with small details that could improve the freshness and comfort.

I liked this restaurant and I would return. But it takes too long to serve the food. The burger 🍔 very dry, they need to put a very dressing on the pizza. The salads were delicious, the spaghetti not so much. Apart from that everything is fine. Unless they have a baby chair 🚼

The food is okay, and the cocktails are great (worth it). However, the service is awful. They go to the back of the bar, and every time you need something, you have to call them and wait for them to come. A total disappointment. Their prices are slightly above average. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

The place is definitely very nice and the waiters are very attentive. The tuna tiradito is highly recommended, as is the pizza. The hamburger was quite salty, the fries lacked flavor, and the milanesa was more bread than meat. I hope the flavor improves; if it does, it'll be a 10/10.
