Homestyle. We stopped by for Sunday brunch. Fresh made tortillas still warm. Also omelettes made to order. Pozole, enchiladas, so many things. Plus a whole dessert selection. Friendly staff too!

WOW WOW WOW!!! Just had the greatest omelet ever. Awesome breakfast buffet. First time customer on April 24th and I had to go back again on May 1st for breakfast. Going back again for Taco Tuesday. Awesome authentic Mexican restaurant. Great atmosphere. Great service.

Our waiter was fantastic and made us spicy margaritas that weren’t on the menu. Delicious food and I definitely would recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area :)

I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican Food and that is because I KNOW how to cook authentic Mexican recipes handed down from my grandmother and mother and cooking along side of them growing up. I've been in the kitchen since I was 5. So when my kids told me to trust them and that I would like Lienzo Charro's food I was like yeah right. Little did I know that I would be surprised. Their food is very good and the right place to get your fix on outside of the home Mexican Food. I try not to go out and eat it since I cook it but it was my kids choice so that I could also enjoy the Fabulous ambiance with great service and a Trio Charro playing some of my favorite growing up Mexican Songs.

Wow! Another great meal. I had a whole fried fish. Yum, better than expected and beautiful to look at. I love this place and they have a good Saturday and Sunday brunch.

Great place to have Girl's night out. Food and service was fantastic. Friday nights there are Salsa lessons for $15. My friend and I enjoyed out Friday evening.

The food was delicious. This is definitely one of Temecula's hidden gems. The food was authentic and well portioned, probably more than one should eat. I absolutely will be coming back for dinner or brunch.

I've only been here a handful of times unfortunately. I say unfortunately because this is one of my favorite spots. Very attentive staff, great people, great vibe, and quite possibly some of the best Mexican food.

The menudo is so good, it's exactly what menudo is supposed to taste like. Their brunch buffet is so good. All the food and the handmade tortillas are the best. Definitely coming back again soon

We came in today only one server. Didn't get his name. But, when I tell you he was on his job and doing the best he can!!! And it got very busy too. We live in Temecula and consider this place family. If you're looking for a true home cooked Mexican food experience this is it. Our favorite is Sunday brunch buffet. The tortillas are being made fresh, the beans are fresh...the salsa is fresh and delicious. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming! This was our first choice after restaurants opened back up to dining.

A favorite spot to stop and have a drink and meal at the bar or lunch and dinner in the dining room. Gerry, the owner is a good host. Mariachis are always there on Friday nights to entertain your table for tips. We held our daughter's wedding reception there recently and they set out buffet of Mexican food for our guests. We held most of the party in the rear dining area and the outdoor patio in the back. They have a new outdoor glassed in patio where we brought in a DJ with a light and sound system. Gerry is a good host for all your dining and party needs!

My chip basket was a nice large size. I didn't run out while I waited for my order. The service was excellent. I will return again that's how good the food, service was.

got a carne asada burrito w the works & a must to get green sauce on the side. it was good but not spectacular. grateful the place hosts dance lessons & will need to return for salsa on Friday night. It's casual enough to bust out board games but it is a tad bit dark (but not overly so). I'll also be back for Taco Tuesdays!

This place is a charming, hidden gem. I stumbled upon this place after seeing a local client in the area and thought I'd give it a try. I am so glad I did. Not only do they have an EXTENSIVE menu, they have a great bar, dance floor and FREE Salsa lessons on Friday nights! How cool is that? I'll definately be back for a bite to eat, a drink or two and a turn around the dance floor. PS: They are also VERY welcoming and friendly.

They have pool tables now, and a great outside patio. I usually frequent Sunday brunch during football season, and the food is always good. It's a buffet style brunch with limitless mimosas or bloody Mary's for a reasonable price. They have an omelette bar, and fresh made tortillas.

We love this place, the owners are sweet people, the food delicious, homemade! And the best margs in town, not that syrupy junk. The outside patio is great as it’s covered with comfy seating plus they have great coupons !

We went a little close to their opening hours and there was only a few other people there at the same time as us but the food was great and the customer service was excellent! We were attended to frequently asking if everything was OK or if we needed anything. And a big plus for me is finding a restaurant that makes their guacamole fresh and doesn't immediately add onions to it 10/10

1st time here and we arrived for the buffet specials and omg the food was amazing! I got to try enchiladas with rice & bean and a plate of pozole with handmade tortillas! For only $19! Highly recommend coming on a Saturday morning! They had the best customer service!

First time here. Sunday breakfast buffet was great! Fresh made tortillas made on the spot. Menudo, Pozole, Enchiladas, Chile Verde, etc… Omelette bar, bright fresh fruit bar, Pan Dulce, Jukebox. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially James!

One of my favorite restaurants. I can not recommend it enough as one of the best Mexican sit-down places. They have a buffet on Sunday and dancing on another day (can't remember which). The food is amazing, and their chips and salsa's the best (complimentary and unlimited for every table).

An enjoyable lunch stop along the freeway, for about 10 people, returning from a funeral in San Diego. Very attentive staff, & menu, from which I ordered the delicious shrimp soup. I would recommend this restaurant, which is close to the freeway & a large gas station.

Always a pleasant experience here, greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. The server is friendly ad conversational. The food is very good. The buffet is definitely a winner also, all you can eat menudo and pazole? Who can say no to that? The place itself is unassuming and modest but big and they host lots of events. I highly recommend it over the mexican Cafe or the other one.

Sunday brunch. Decent price and authentic Mexican food, Buffet style. No sugary American brunch stuff like waffles or pancakes, but for the less picky eaters, real food. I'm partial to cheese enchiladas for breakfast and this place doesn't disappoint there! The fresh tortillas are a plus and there is an omelette person, with the option for fresh eggs. Service was a bit unorganized and hectic, but overall a good brunch.

The Cadillac margarita was excellent! I had a taco which was great. The chips and salsa were mostly chopped onion and some jalapenos in a green salsa. Good carnitas but tortillas seemed to be store-bought and nuked. I would not reorder a relleno.

It was my family's first time here, and it was a bit confusing to us at first. They seemed to be shorthanded, so it seemed that no particular customer got the adequate attention. We did enjoy the buffet, the fruit was sweet, and you can even get waffles that are not out at the buffet. I do understand that they got busy, and I would visit this place again.

Had never been here so as usual we were looking forward to a good meal. Ordered the mixed fajitas and the carne asada. Meat in both dishes was overcooked and dry. Everything else was fine. Service was good and the decor inside and out was nice.

It was recommended by our daughter. My husband and I went to try it out. We usually go to Jimenez or Carnitas. But this place was incredible. They have the best cook and so we took some of our family on Sunday. The green pork Chile was given the thumbs up by all, and freashly made tortillas. Albondiga soup, just like Mom made it.👍

Have been here multiple times. Food is decent, beer is cold. It's convenient since I often stay at the Ramada that shares the same parking lot as this restaurant.

Limited choices. Some of the Hot Trays were not filled the entire we were there. Not enough employees to clear plates or deliver special orders. We give it a 6 on a 10 scale.

Whereas the interior is very nice, the service was good and the music was a mix of American rock and mild Hispanic tunes...the food...so-so. The food looked good, but it lacked flavor. I've seen so many good reviews perhaps my expectations were too high.

The staff was very positive. Our order wasn't brought out in a timely manner - they'd completely forgotten to bring out 2 of our kids' meals. But they were quick to correct the problem. The food left much to be desired. We tried shrimp cocktails, ceviche, carnitas, tortas. The atmosphere was pleasant. It seems like a good place for adults to mingle and enjoy some music. Not sure if I'd come back for the food though.

We are never going to this place. We have gone to this place many times but Every time The bartender was unfriendly. And the price was way too expensive. Our corona and modelo was $6 each And strwaberry margarita (regular size) was $9.99

I was not impressed. The salsa was ok, I prefer a cooked tomato salsa. I had the chile relleno & cheese enchilada combo; I had several questions, like the type of salsa used on both, type of cheese and chile used for the chile relleno & the waitress wasn't able to answer any of them, she had no knowledge of how anything was prepared. My son had the fried mojarra and it lacked flavor/seasoning. The food (including the chips) was very greasy. I realize mexican food is not known to be the healthier choice, but the food was overly greasy. The service was mediocre, and the food lacked flavor. Even the michelada was a 3 out of 10.

When we’re driving back from a Holiday weekend and got stuck in traffic so decided to stop here and eat. We brought our Starbucks drinks inside because it was 100 degrees outside and didn’t want them to get ruined in the car. We walked in and immediately the guy said “no outside drinks!!” My friend and I looked at each other not knowing what to do and finally decided to go and he said “fine come inside”. We were thankful and thanked him. We ordered our food and when he brought it he walked away and I was asking for more chips. He kept walking so I figured he didn’t hear me. He returned with chips and literally threw them on the table. He never came back to see if we were ok. Super rude and although the food was good the service ruined it.

Chile relleno was a green chili pepper wrapped around an egg omelets. No buen, enchilada not good either. Wife Ordered taco salad. No Bueno Will not go back. Total bill about $60.00. Not even close to worth the amount

There is also a well-stocked bar with seating. The establishment was relatively empty, so I chose to sit at the bar to watch the television. The bar tender took my drink order and brought chips and salsa. The green salsa was quite enjoyable, although I was surprised by the small serving size. I then ordered the calda de camaron shrimp soup, which took a while to arrive. The soup was somewhat disappointing, as it consisted of a tomato base with carrots, potatoes, and a few shrimp. Honestly, I had higher expectations for the price of $18.99. The service was slow and inattentive. I was not offered a drink or water refill and had to search for someone to present my bill so I could pay. Curiously, the only other person at the bar kindly stood up and processed my checkout. It was clearly not their best day, and this may have been an anomaly, but unfortunately, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend Lienzo Charro Mexican Bar and Grill.

Wow the buffet is not it, sad they changed it. They had so much more last time I went, barely any selection. For Breakfast buffet you need to have more Breakfast items. Defenently not worth the price it was so expensive

This place is absolutely disgusting. order burrito the other day honestly made me feel sick how to mention I realize they overcharged me the pricing board doesn’t match what they charge at the window. It’s like a two or three dollar difference. I don’t paying for food The company just needs to be transparent with their pricing and not charge people more than what’s advertised

Stale chips and food with no flavor. Added lots of salsa (delicious) to be able to get through the blandness. We did have a wonderful food server but we will not be returning.

Worst Mexican food ever! Save your money. I told server my food was dry and tortillas were hard. No one ever came back except for older lady whom brought check and had no idea about my complaint. I paid and left without barely touching my food.

Never ate there before. Went at lunch, hardly anybody there. Ordered Chicken Picado with a salad. The food came fast. The salad was cheap. No greens or croutons just iceburg lettuce. Free chips and salsa. Salsa was watery no flavor. My meal was pieces of chicken covered in tons of sauce almost soup also no flavor.

Beware as I was eating a cockroach ran across our table over my torta and the owner did not want to do anything about it!!!

We went for Sunday Brunch, we had checked the price on their online menu, said $9.95 and $15.95 with all you can drink champagne, when we got there it was $12.95 and $24.95 with champagne!!! What???? oh that's our old prices .... It's your website - change it .... What a trap ..... and we drove a long way to get there ... Was SO MAD we didn't eat there, hate that kind of thing.

Food was good. Gave our waitress and cash tip and 8.00 tip on our card and they put an extra $5 on my card. Not to happy with that.

Why one star? Because one word TERRIBLE! My last visit was bad. First of all there was only five customers there. Second of all the food was not all as good. Third the service was terrible! For example, I ask to cut my kids burrito in half for they can share and they said there is a knife cut it yourself.

Very small felt cramped. Servers felt like they where too rushed. Family of 7got seated and was only given 3 menus. No silverware provided until requested. Not sure if it was because it was Saturday salsa night or they had alot of sick calls from the rest of the staff. Next time I'll probably take my family elsewhere.

Horrible service . The food on the menu was not what was served. And then when I approached the server that my food order was missing something he said oh the chef forgot to add it and didn’t really care to provide a substitute or even a discount for not serving the correct food item. For nachos it’s just tostado chips with melted shredded cheese

Terrible service. Food is not even close to authentic Mexican food. We sat at our table for 1 hour before getting chips, salsa or water for our party. Our party started getting up to get their drinks at the bar. One party at another table just left. There was one server for one party of 15 and four other tables of 2-4 people. The server was also the bartender so we didn’t get our food for over an hour. I would skip this place. Would give them zero stars if I could.

I've eaten at many eateries in Temecula, by far this place was the worst. I think it was the owner who waited on me. I ordered Chicken Fajitas, completely dry. He never brought my flour tortillas or chips and salsa. The rice and beans had a funny chemical taste. WIERD!!! I couldn't eat any of it. He never asked if I would care for something else. Also, the place was dirty, I should have exited stage left left upon walking in.

I will never eat here again. We booked a buffet dinner for our wedding party and made sure everything was fine when we arrived. The owner will try to over charge you, even after you paid the agreed upon price. Service was horrible and slow. We made them more in one night than they would of made in an entire week. They are very deceitful and will try to con you to not paying more money at the end of the night when they think you won’t know any better. DO NOT EAT HERE!! They will lie and try and get more and more money out of you.

I did not like this restaurant at all. I went based off of other reviews somewhere around 35 or so. All we're almost five stars for this restaurant but I'm afraid I can agree with that. Might be at 3-star but this place was somewhat disappointing. I went in a Sunday not knowing they had brunch. I still took a look at the menu and it may be some other dishes might be better but the brunch had no selection. Some of the food look old and the fruit was disgusting. It look like it had been frozen and stored for several days and yet they still try to serve it like that. What was most pointing was the brunch selection. Not much to go on especially for the price. Ended up spending about $45 -$50 for one adult and two kids. The bar looks interesting maybe for the nightlife but not for the food. I would really give it one stars but I'll be generous since I didn't try any of the off menu plates.

******Senergy gift card network ****** You can find great specials on Senergy gift cards at Costco online. I got $100 for $58 and two out of three of the restaurants I tried are really good. This one was the exception. I tried a long time ago and figured it wasn't something special since I hadn't been back. But since I was trying local restaurants in the the Senergy gift card network I gave it another try. It's like a ghost 👻 town in there. The buffet didn't look very appetizing. And service was below average.

I decided to give this place a try. As I entered the restaurant, I noticed that the this establishment was very dark and gloomy. The entire restaurant was empty, and now I know why. The chips and salsa that are provided as an appetizer are okay. Their salsa was watery and not much flavor. The pictures on the menu are not very appetizing, but I read other reviews about the food being good, so I decided to order something. Therefore I ordered 2 carne asada tacos that comes with rice and beans. I kid you not, the tacos were very sad looking and small. They provide the garnish of the tacos on the side, but for $16, I was expecting something more. The rice and beans tasted good, but the beans did not look fresh. I came to this place about 7 years ago, but did not like the food; the fajita was dry and burnt. Today, I wanted to give it a second chance, but had an even worse experience. I ordered the 7 mares seafood soup. I was hungry and was looking forward to a delicious soup. To my dismay, The clams had a very unpleasant smell, taste and texture, did not taste fresh, and it had too many. After having some shrimp, fish, imitation crab (which I don’t care for), I decided to try the crab leg. As soon as the shell touched my mouth, I noticed a disgusting aftertaste and an extremely foul smell. It made me nauseate. I immediately informed the waiter that the crab leg was spoiled. He apologized and took the soup. A different waiter brought us the check and said they had given us a discount. Seriously? You give a customer spoiled food and think that the correct way to fix your mistake is to have the customer pay a discounted price? Never coming back here and do not recommend.

******Senergy gift card network ****** You can find great specials on Senergy gift cards at Costco online. I got $100 for $58 and two out of three of the restaurants I tried are really good. This one was the exception. I tried a long time ago and figured it wasn't something special since I hadn't been back. But since I was trying local restaurants in the the Senergy gift card network I gave it another try. It's like a ghost 👻 town in there. The buffet didn't look very appetizing. And service was below average.
