Orange Chicken Temple City Reviews
Food is delicious. There is plenty of variety to choose from. Though I did not get to see the full menu. I only ordered from what was available in front of me. There is plenty of parking. Place was full. There were other families dining in while I ordered to go. Portion size is also very good. Service was great. I definitely want to go back and see what else is offered.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that’s portion are still large in spite of the current department. I had the three item combo (Beef broccoli, Orange chicken and Pineapple chicken with chow mein and fried rice). They all tasted the way I expected. I was very pleased that I could do a half and half for the chow mein and fried rice. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Oh and they take Apple Pay too!
The welcoming staff and enormous portions make this place a great value. Their extended hours until 8:30 are convenient, and I've been impressed by their willingness to accommodate late orders.

Orange chicken was good, Egg flower soup very good (and healthy!), fried rice tasted very plain(not worth $15 in my opinion). Between the serving sizes and chicken quality they keep the 5 stars IMO. Check this place out
I consider the staff Family. Will continue to support my bestie.
This was our 1st time here. We had orange chicken, black pepper chicken, broccoli beef, green pepper chicken, egg rolls, chow mein, rice and 3 Arizona teas. We all enjoyed it all.Big portions. We definitely will return.
Love coming here, been living in San Gabriel for 3 yrs. first time we went we throughly it wasn’t good “ don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. We then tried it and it’s was the best. My family loves it here, when I don’t have time to cook for work this is my go to spot. I totally recommend it.
Orange Chicken Express is one of those restaurants that you have to give them their flowers while they are open because these types of restaurants are far and few between. The best item here is the orange chicken. When it is freshly fried and smothered in that sauce. All the dishes are good. The chow mien is thicc. I usually get half and half fried rice and chow mien but im going to stick to just chow mien next time. The eggplant is good. the kung pao chicken is also good. Of course the egg rolls and chicken wings. I like their thai tea too. Overall: Will return for their orange chicken and chow mein
Good sized portions. Decent prices. Bring cash. The name of the place is an item they serve, believe it or not. They do a great job at it too. Highly recommend the orange chicken.
Best Chinese food, especially the orange chicken and coconut shrimp, noodles and rice are top notch too, way to go guys, rasing the bar for take out!
My wife and i, we loved the salt peppers shirmp with chow Mey. The people are very kind and friendly... yes, I recommend 👌
Very real American Chinese food taste better than Panda express. If you miss original Chiness American Chinese food this place is the best. You can’t fine them anymore.
They really pack your plate. It's hot and flavorful.

This is nice alternative to Panda Express for fast casual Chinese food. Located in a strip mall next to Super A foods grocery store. Great portions and friendly staff. They charge a fee for card payments less than $10. Nice place to grab lunch if your nearby.

Don't get me wrong, The flavor is there. The portion is there but the meat to veggie ratio isn't correct. Every plate is mostly veggies.
Was not very good. Dry orange chicken. Beef brocoli looked and tasted old. Only thing I can recommend is the chow mien. Would not come back :/

The people were nice, but there's no way I'm paying for cold food. I'd understand if it was right befopre closing or an odd hour, but it's 3:00 p.m. on a Sunday and I started eating within one minute of it being served... Like how is it 70° outside, but my food is colder than the ambient temperature? Won't be back
This place has been around forever, at least since the early 1990s. Growing up, my parents used to bring me here often and I soon became fond of the chow mein. I remember I came here every single day for a week back when I was in elementary school. However, that was back then. They've since changed owners several times. And the recipes have surely evolved. I went back a couple of times in the past year or so; their orange chicken doesn't taste fresh, plus the chow mein was overcooked and not very filling. I got some veggies, but felt hungry again soon after. I think the issue with these types of places is that the food isn't made to order. Instead, they cook everything earlier in the day and then put it out, so it gets dried up quickly. On the other hand, they can't really charge you a high price for it. I guess this would be some place you could try if you wanted Americanized Chinese food. However, we've moved on to eating at Sam Woo and Panda these days. I don't really see any reason for returning, even if it's one of the closest restaurants to me.

Bad food. Dry orange chicken, tasteless fried rice and noodles. I forced myself to eat it since I was hungry, but it was a tough job. I threw away more than half.
on saThis place is by far the worst I've ever had. My boyfriend's BBQ pork Was bad like days old & was dark, a bad dark as in spoiled meat, My orange & Teriyaki chicken were the same. It's the nastyes food. I really don't know how their business has stayed open. A waist of my BF money, $40. I was going to take picture of our food. But! That option is not available
