The curbside was taking a while, 10-15 min after the app said it would be ready. so I called to check on it just to make sure they knew I was there bc I didn't want to get cold food, not bc I was rushing them. Awesome store manager Nate personally brought it out to apologize for the wait, and threw in an apple pie. Great!
Dr. Pepper wasn't working, so they went next door to Brookshires and bought some just for me. That's customer service! Thank you! Update, they have their ups and downs getting orders right, but the managers are always helpful in getting it fixed.
I was okay with the food but they rushed through the order and forgot some things nobody's perfect but it only takes a second to read the ticket I had to go double check my order and I was dining in the lobby....it hasn't happened before so hopefully it won't again...food was great though and everything else was great.
Great manangement! Great employees! Did a welding job here for the company and I witnessed first hand how clean and sanitary this store is. If you decide not to go here, then you, your family and friends will really be missing out!!! By far the best quality food and service in kaufman!!! No question or doubt bout that!!
Best fast food visit I’ve had in a long time. Cashier was friendly and went the extra mile for multiple customers while I was there. Employees brought food to the tables and checked on customers - made multiple trips for napkins, condiments, etc. I’m so used to the sloppy, rude service where I live that this was a breath of fresh air.

I was ordering for a company lunch and made a mistake on what time I placed the order. Even though it was completely my fault they took care of us and made it happen. Very grateful for this Whataburger and the service they have provided. I highly recommend anyone that is in Terrell to swing by and have a bite of classic Texas food.

This was my first Whataburger ever, and I was NOT disappointed. The burgers were delicious and the fries were nicely crunchy without being overcooked. The staff was friendly and polite. The burgers were made exactly as ordered and very well executed. The selection of fountain drinks was terrific. My son really enjoyed the buffalo sauce with his fries, and their jalapeno ranch is wonderful! Thank you Whataburger for a great experience, will definitely come back.
Last visit, my hubby tried their Jalapeno Burger. I got their grilled chicken meal. Their French fries are great, slim, and well seasoned. They bring the meal to your table with plenty of napkins and catsup for the fries.
75 cent burgers today were great! Staff was great even though they were busy busy! Man behind the cash register was keeping everyone entertained!
I went through the drive thru just to get a drink. I had a long drive and I wasn't done yet. The exterior of the building appeared clear of debris and well maintained. The drive up speaker worked perfectly (nothing worse than a drive thru speaker that doesn't work). My order was immediately taken. The two working the window were pleasant and friendly. My order was filled correctly. The whole process took maybe three minutes. Perfection.

I'd never had Whataburger, and at the urging of some folks that had, I decided to give it a go. This location was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. I had the regular Whataburger, and I loved it. I ordered the onion rings with mine, but found them to be too greasy for my liking, though I did try a few of my son's french fries and they were quite good. My son tried the spicy chicken sandwich and said it was at least as good as Chick-fil-A or Popeyes. If this was a local chain for me, I'd probably eat there just about any time I had a hankering for a burger.

Service seems a bit slow. Seems to take forever to get your order. However employees are friendly and the food was good quality.
Didn't have what I wanted so I had to get somethang else. My wife and myself hade to wait over 20 minutes to get our order. 5 minutes just to get waited on in the drive thru and the rest waiting fer our order. The manager was not even helping. She could of gotten the other done faster. Another thang if You are out of somethang put it on the drive thru menu don't have people order it than say We can't make that. We won't be back to this location if to any location.
You can never go wrong with a whataburger. It is definitely a Texas thing but I am sure that people who are not native Texans will be impressed with the food. One of my favorite burgers of all time. Actually it is in my top 5 burgers that I have ever had in my 60 years of living. Plus if you are really hungry try the patty melt it is awesome and be warned that most of the burgers are double meat and a few triple meat. It is definitely an experience for the whole family and then some.
I can't complain about the food and the service this Whataburger has been good to me for the last month The only thing that I was suggest is to find out what's going on with the drive-thru it takes forever to get your food even if it's just a drink seems like takes longer than what it should be other than that Whataburger is always good
You ask for easy mustard, and it's not that way, plus I had to send the fries back as they were cold. 9-6-25, ate at this location again, they need to fry their French fries a little longer as they are mushy.

Always been my favorite fast food places is Whataburger but lately the food has been cold, doesn't look appealing at all, this stuff is not very smart, always a long wait which is okay for fresh food but not when you get cold food. This definitely is not my favorite location! And they change their chicken sandwiches the reason why I used to like their chicken sandwiches is because it was different and unique from all the other ones and was the best! Now their chicken sandwiches is just like every fast food restaurant in the world that serves chicken sandwiches.
Okay so the early morning staff manly the older gentleman I didn’t see his name but he is a heavy set guy and his stomach hangs out the bottom of his shirt isn’t that a bit of a safety hazard and also a health risk? Like I’m not saying he’s a bad employee he is very nice just looking out for him don’t want him getting burned on the grill.
The drive-thru employees have a problem giving the customer their drinks with the liquid dripping off the cup. I don't want that syrup all over my cup holder. And they have attitudes when you ask them to wipe it off.
The drive thru was very slow. I pre-orderd on my app- was third in line and waited 15 minutes for the first car to be finished. After the next car went thru after 3 minutes- my pre- order was given to me- less than warm with a tough bun. I was on my way to work and had no time to repeat this to get a decent breakfast sandwich.
Stopped in for early morning breakfast and all of our biscuits were hard, as if they were old rather than overdone. Everything else was ok. The guy working the drive thru was pleasant.
Jalapeño cheddar honey butter biscuit was very dry. Everything else like service and atmosphere was on point.
It took 22 minutes to get our food after ordering it. While we waited at the pickup window, we saw 4 or 5 bags of food sitting on a counter. And of course ,our drinks were ready, getting watered down, sitting at the window. My husband counted at least 7 employees working, and 2 just standing around. Two or three customers were eating inside the restaurant. There isnt an excuse for this. The Whataburger is the one by Brookshires.
Staff is a little rude but great food
We go to this whataburger quite often most of the time the food is good the service is good for the most part they had a drain problem with there drink machine it always smells like someone threw up in the lobby not the best smell for hungry people. The young man at the front counter not sure if he still works there but people like him keep people like me coming back ill deal with it to know people out there still try there best he rememebered my order and i hadnt been in a week.
Whataburger isn't what it used to be . A cook to order meal that didn't take 18 minutes .Especially when it was pre-ordered for delivery. The cook just started the order when he was finished and had to wait an additional 3 minutes for fries and onion rings because no one had dropped them . There is no sense of urgency. I waited in line for 25 minutes. What a Burger supposed to be fast food, Its more like slow food. It's amazing that Chick-fil-A can get more people through A-line in that time frame. If the wait wasn't so long I would have gaven it a higher rating because the food was good.
The food was great. It took us awhile to get our order but it didn't really bother me the cashier was treating me like I was a bother when I asked for my drink after waiting for 20 mins and when I asked for the ranch that should have come with my order she wanted to charge me and then she only gave me one and was like I should have one with the salad & chicken nuggets it was something they should have already put in the bag
EXTREMELY SLOW even when the drive through is empty and I'm the only one in the dining room its still takes 30+ minutes to get out a single meal. Its faster to keep driving to the other WB in Terrell and get the food there.
Whataburger for the prices your customers are paying for these meals I'm going to need you to teach your staff how to PAY ATTENTION AND READ!!!! Today is the 4th time (not in a row) that my husband and I have ordered breakfast from this location and we always ask AND PAY for extras or addons. We never get the extras and addons that we pay for and when we try to confirm with management they think we're lying and try to do cross contamination by asking for our bags back and add it to already made orders. This happens sometimes with the night staff too. WE'RE DONE WITH THIS LOCATION AND MAYBE EVEN THIS COMPANY! GET IT TOGETHER!

Person in the drive through went from semi pleasant in the greeting to highly annoyed when I said we were finishing up an online order (there was no one behind us and it took 30 seconds to complete the payment). I responded with a bit of annoyance at her attitude, which had continued even after the order confirmation. When I got to the window she pretty much shoved the food at me, slammed the drive thru window and walked off so I had to drive around to the front and go in to get the medium drink she did not give me. Horrible customer service.
The workers here are usually very nice and friendly. The food is good and my order is usually correct. However, they have GOT to work on how long it takes to get your food. I don’t understand the point of even having a drive through if it takes 30+ minutes to get a couple burgers. I feel like I could sit down at a full service restaurant and be done faster than it takes them to just get you your order. Do better!!
I recently visited the Whataburger in Terrell, TX and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. I made it very clear that I have a severe onion allergy and requested that my order be made without onions. However, when I received my food, it was loaded with onions. I had to painstakingly pick them off myself, which was not only inconvenient but also put me at risk for a potential allergic reaction. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service at this particular Whataburger location. It is crucial for restaurants to take food allergies seriously and ensure that orders are made correctly to avoid any potential health risks for their customers. I hope that they can improve their attention to detail in the future to prevent similar incidents from happening again.

Drive thru took almost 20 minutes and there was only one car ahead of me. They gave me the wrong drink. The guy at the window was giving me strange looks, first glaring, then smirking. Didn't say anything at all except the amount I owed. Gave me a strange feeling, so when I got home I checked my food and found a hair in it. Never going to this location again.
Waited 20 minutes and was the only car in the drive thru while their staff goofed off the entire time. From the time they took my order they were laughing so much they stopped listening and then asked for the order again I can forgive having fun at work I get it but when you have nine people working and your food 1. This has to be the slowest, most disorganized place I have ever seen in my entire life. In the drive-thru, it took 10 minutes before anybody even answered. And then he cut me off, and said just pull up to the window instead. Once I did, and placed my order, I literally sat for more than 30 minutes while I watched people bumble around on the inside. Cars were piled up behind me. This place is the worst. I will never be back.
Been going to this location since I was small. Ordered 3 simple burgers and all three were not right, super cold. I was not given my drinks at the drive thru. I went inside and it was filthy. Workers handling payment and making food with same gloves, workers rubbing hands on pants and headsets handling food. Absolutely disgusting. Price keeps going up but quality is trash now.

If they aren't extremely slow, then you better check. Your order is probably wrong. Order on the app so everything can be spelled out. Did that. Got the wrong burgers. Didn't get what I paid for. Store "manager" Told me to get a refund in the app and then spoke in a manner that was not intelligible and hung up.
The people were nice enough. However on the way to a doctor's appt I stopped off to grab a quick bite to-go. Needless to say they were out of bread so people had waited a LONG time before me, I only order a honey butter chicken biscuit to go. It took me 22 minutes to get this meal. Making me late. This was a bit absurd as the drive thru had ATLEAST 15-20 cars go through it during that time. I get things happen, but the mix of innattention, the subpar food, and tremendous wait didn't help the fact that they were playing 1970's country music and the entire vibe was pretty sad in the place. Seemed to have friendly staff that were poorly equipped.
Love my Whataburger! But this location seems to have issues getting the correct order out the window! 3 times in a 4 week period. Not only did the give me the wrong order but this means someone else received the wrong order as well! From leaving my home and placing order and returning home and then back up there and sitting in line took 1.25 hrs. Unreal! While I sat in line the second time I watched the car in front of my return their food with a receipt. Wrong order...wonder if it was my burger? That 3 wrong orders in a short time. Not rocket science to get a simple 3 piece order out the window. Drink, fries and a burger.....hmmm. and they want 15hr? Don't know who's not watching their store but someone needs to take note. I assure you I'm not the only one getting wrong orders

Sat in the drive thru line for 15 minutes behind 3 cars. Finally decided to call the store to figure out what was taking the car at the menu so long to place an order. They staff wasn't even aware they had a line of 8 cars. This isn't the first time either this location is constantly having service issues.
I never give bad reviews, but I waited 20 minutes for a online order of a milk shake. I also watched a guy walk out because the lady at the register flat out ignore him. Worst service I've experienced in many years. This was during non busy hours.
Love wateraburger but not this location. I sat in the drive thru line for 25min to order. Finally it was my turn I order my food. I get to the window to pay for my food and heavy set lady ask me if I ordered. She asking as if I skipped a line full of people. I tried being nice and polite because that's what I was taught to do. The whole in tire time the last was snatching food and drinks through the window and giving me the stank eye like as if I was in the wrong. The other lady there was wonderful she had move her out the way and do her job for her. Getting my order and taking my payments. Just so you know it was around 10:45 ish so it was the night shift. If you won't bad customer service and time spent here go here it's perfect for people who wants this bad experience. I hope someone actually reads these and do something about that rude women.
Staff playing in the kitchen loudly. They wait on who they want not who is next. Tables were not wiped down. Biscuits cooked hard, gravy like water, no utensils were given with my food. I would have proffered to give zero stars.

Every time I go here all of our food is wrong. Even when we ordered online. We asked for 2 honey butter chicken biscuits with extra honey butter and we ended up getting none. The bacon we pay extra for on some orders, we never get. When we pay for jalapeño ranch we never get it regardless if we ask if its in the bag or not. We started sending our food back and it takes them 4 tries to even get it semi right. Don’t recommend going here.

Waited 22 minutes in drive through, this was 1:22 pm arrival not 12:15 and no special order. To make it worse, when we got to the window, we saw our food sitting on the counter, with other orders getting cold, while a staff of seven or eight was in low gear. Food was cold, poorly made and drinks watered down from sitting on window sill. This used to be a good store, not any more, spend a bit more time and go to other side of town, their employees still know how to serve.
My girlfriend was very thoughtful and brought me dinner from this location, but she told me about how three employees laughed at her, berated her, and even tried to make a inappropriate joke at her expense to her face at the drive though. I am horrified this was her experience and I hope this location improves. Until then neither of us will ever do business here again.

Yesterday, August 3 my grandfather came to order food in the inside. He ordered a sweet spicy bacon burger meal and ordered me the junior sweet and spicy on a brioche bun but no onions I got my food and took one bite the whole burger tasted spoiled as if the meat and Also the cheese was old and the bun tasted it stale The only thing that made the bun soggy was the sauce that they put. The mustard and bacon was missing from it. I’ve never had a problem with them but being that I wasn’t able to enjoy my burger because it tasted so disgusting. And old is ridiculous. I’ve called several times and they don’t answer that just let the phone ring , I don’t know if I’ll be going up there again.
Totally unprofessional employee's and unhealthy practices. My son and I went to eat in the dining room, after watching the drive thru lady kissing and grabbing a guy we asked to get our food to go. Our order taker complained about the manager doesn't know how to order and how he doesn't like working there. On topof this they got my wife's order wrong and didn't give us all of the food. I highly recommend to go-to ANY other place than here, they need a totally new crew. Stay away from here!!!!

I went to get a number one. Simple order. I cannot tell you how I sat in the drive thru for about 30min total. I am not exaggerating. After I finally made it to the window to pay not one apology for the delay and they left me at the window forever. Finally some guy from the fry area saw me and completed my order. You would think after this long wait it would be at least editable. NO I was driving and eating and it was dark.... The burger was WET. Not the juicy kind. Half the bun was completely soggy. I could not gag that part down. I am pretty sure the meat was not cooked all the way either. This was one of the most disgusting meals I have ever been served.
My roommate and I just came back from ordering here. The experience was TERRIBLE!!! The lady who took our order was absurdly rude. She had attitude the entire time and kept talking to us like we were stupid. Like if she couldnt hear us, she would literally look at us and say “WHAT” and would emphasize the T as she said it. Im sorry but if you cant be nice and have at least decent customer service then you need to find a new job. I have called several times already trying to talk to a manager and they for some reason can never answer the phone. And also, my fries were old, soggy, and stale

Didn't dine in , used the drive thru, and the line moves really slow, I been to a couple of other whateburger locations and had the same experience. What a HUGE FAIL. Used the drive thru… ordered a simple grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce, pickles, onions and mayo. Pulled up, paid and 23 minutes later!! I cancelled my order! The ‘cooks’ were busy talking, laughing and messing around as the window worker kept apologizing it was taking so long. The manager, who actually passed right by the ‘cooks’, came and approved the cancellation and I received my money back. The window cashier advised, per the manager, I wait and get the sandwich free for having to wait. I did, and pulled away to park to eat and found a grilled chicken sandwich WITHOUT pickles, onions or pickles! Ugh!!, I threw it away and will never go back to this location.
My children, aged 14 & 22, were just harassed tableside by the manager at this facility Just Now! After he took/made their order wrong. Customers were commenting on the stalking.
**Review of Whataburger in Terrell, Texas - Moore Avenue Location** I recently visited the Whataburger on Moore Avenue in Terrell, Texas, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I ordered an avocado bacon double cheeseburger all the way, with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and no bun. Despite sending the order back three times and even providing the receipt upon request, the avocado and bacon were consistently missing from my order. As someone who works six days a week and has a husband battling stage four cancer, time spent together is precious. The delays in getting the correct order meant that I didn't even have the opportunity to sit and share a meal with my husband. The staff's lack of communication and the apparent disinterest in rectifying the situation only added to the frustration. During my visit, a man in a red shirt, presumably the General Manager, approached me without offering any meaningful resolution or apology. Despite leaving a message for the GM regarding my experience, I received no callback, further highlighting the lack of customer care at this establishment. In contrast, my experience at the other Whataburger location on Highway 148 in Terrell was exceptional. The staff there were friendly and efficient, providing excellent service that stood in stark contrast to the disappointing encounter at the Moore Avenue location. It's important to remember that dining out is a luxury for many, and the way customers are treated can significantly impact their overall experience. As someone who values kindness and empathy, I was disheartened by the cold and indifferent attitude displayed by the staff at this particular Whataburger. In conclusion, I will not be returning to the Moore Avenue Whataburger in Terrell and would instead recommend the Highway 148 location for those seeking a more positive dining experience.
Most of the time your orders are wrong and they take forever.
This is the most ridiculous place and employees are rude and nasty. I got here in line at 10:50 am cars got in behind me the line didn't move I don't to speaker which I was one car away from for over 10 minutes it was 11:02 I ordered my breakfast which the lady was rude and yelled it's past 11 I said I have been waiting in this line since 10:50 she said well what do you want I said my breakfast she then stated not my problem what are you ordering for lunch I said I don't want lunch and there is no way to get out of this line. It is now 11:14 and I am still stuck because they can't get orders out and there is still 4 cars ahead of me . So now I have wasted my whole break plus am now going to be late because they are so incompetent. I have never seen a ruder place in my life. I am now beyond late. My whole Break has been wasted and I am now 10 minutes late. No drive thru should take 35 minutes to get from speaker to drive up to get nothing. Now I am in trouble at work and hungry. You can't tell me that at 11:02 there was no breakfast food left.. Especially when they know they are not orders filled. 11:26 finally passed the drive thru window the lady couldn't even apologize for the inconvenience
Worst service ever. Fries are always cold, and orders are never on time. I've given up on this location
Worst drive thru I have ever experienced. I waited 30+ min. for one breakfast taquito. I won't be going back.
Me and my wife place an order with the app and pulled into the number one slotted parking spot and was told our food would be out by 7:12 and by 7:45 still no food and I go inside and our food just sitting up on the counter and I asked him what the deal was and they tried to hand me that cold food and I told him I didn't want that cold food I wanted fresh cuz it was already 30 or 40 minutes old sitting up there and then I asked him for a refund I didn't want to mess with it and they told me they couldn't refund my money because I had placed an order through the app anyway thank God we have another Whataburgers here in Terrell I'll never go to this one again
I ordered on the app and pulled up to the curbside when I got the notification that my food was ready , waited 15 mins and the store wasn’t busy , walked in and saw my order behind the worker and all of them are just talking not paying attention, food was cold , they need to do better !

Ordered ahead via the app. When I finally got to the window, I gave my name and person working the window went over and checked my order, which was sitting next to the fry station. The lady put the onion rings in my bag and then I watched as a different employee reached into my bag, took out the apple pie, and placed it on a "dine in" tray. I was asked to pull forward, around to the handicapped parking space, because "we are waiting on your apple pie." Really? So .... my food, that has now been sitting there for 5 minutes, needs to sit there longer while I pull forward and wait? After a few minutes, I went inside and asked them to remake my onion rings, because they were definitely cold now. Then I went back to my car and waited another 5 minutes. The chicken tenders in the kids meal - cold. The apple slices in the kids meal - warm/browning. My Whattaburger - filled with wilting, warm, disgusting lettuce. All because a dine in customer, who was ALREADY gonna sit down for a few minutes anyway, was given my apple pie. Paying just shy of $20 for 2 meals that were left sitting on a counter to get cold/warm is INSANE. Wont happen again. Wont come back to this location.
Kinda taking the fast out of fast food more concerned about drive thru orders rather than dining room 3 young men waiting for their food to go to work for over 15 minutes and we waited 10 for a breakfast bowl! Pitiful customer service
We went last Friday evening, and I ordered 6 chicken strips and decided to order inside since the drive-thru always takes forever. I asked the gentleman in the front if my order was almost ready, and he said the chicken strips were almost ready. After waiting for what felt like an hour, I decided to get a refund and go home. It feels like the staff is just playing around. They have a lot of employees just walking around, and some go into the managers' office goofing off.
I decided to re-write my review because I have given this location chance after chance after chance and they always disappoint. DO NOT get their curbside. No matter what time it gives you, you will wait and wait and wait and generally have to go inside where you will find your order has been sitting on a shelf for probably 20-40 min getting cold. I get curbside at other whataburgers with no issue, food brought out quick, order is right. This morning I ordered biscuits and gravy, they shouldn't even need to cook anything. I checked in at 8:15, ordered at 8:10. At 8:42 I went inside to find out where it was. Yup, sitting there on the shelf, cold. Get out to my car to eat it, and find 1/2 container of gravy and a flat biscuit. Come on! I'm done, too many other choices for my dollars.
