This is my FAVORITE place to eat when I am visiting my family! I love to order the breakfast tacos while I am down visiting and don't mind eating here more than once a day! I wish there was one in the fort worth area!
It's been about 8 years ago since I was down there I was working on a job and man I ate here everyday for two weeks straight almost the beef enchiladas were so good I was eating until I was almost sick everyday I've tried to find food this good since and havent ever had any luck hope I get to go eat here again soon.
We are new to the area and have tried all the Mexican restaurant in town and this one is the best awesome food and very nice staff I highly recommend it !
Best Chicharon and Egg taco around here. Great coffee, great service!
Great little restaurant in almost the middle of nowhere but we're so happy we stopped in. The fajita nachos I got were really good.
The waitress was very nice and helpfull. We loved the food.
Loved it so much we came back Beans , any style, delicious. Salsas we’re spicy but delicious
The food here is great. Our favorites are the beef fajita nachos and the cheese enchiladas. The service is always fast and friendly.
Food is homemade. And freshly made to order. Love this place!! Best enchiladas around!

Delicious and fast. Definitely a great bargain. Large portions and prices are very nice
Great food, excellent service, huge breakfast tacos, good coffee.
The best food with home made tortillas..Absolutely 😋 👌 delicious food..
If traveling on U.S 281 through Beeville Texas stop by this home town restaurant you won't regret it. Food is great, service is awesome and prices are very, very reasonable. The South Texas Americana atmosphere, with it's retired veterans eating there is worth visiting.
I stop here often when working in town. Breakfast tacos are really good. I always ask for corn tortilla as I'm not big on flour. Half the time, my request for corn gets forgotten about, and I get flour. Of course, by the time I realize it, I'm already at work, and there is nothing I can do. I've ordered the street tacos as well, they are really good but super greasy. And to top it off, the tortilla is heated over grease as well. Makes eating dinner very messy. I prefer my tortilla dry, just heated.
Ate here while camping at choke canyon. It was hot and delicious. Everything we had was good. Coffee was weak but everything else was great
Been eating here for years! Never gets old! The number 9 on the lunch menu is the absolute best! A must try.
Hands down best fresh salsa Ive ever had! Been to Mexico numerous times. This has the right amount of everything! They bring you chips and salsa to the table. Take your order. Then they bring you a bottle that squirts salsa out with your meal. My husband and I ate there for 12.00. I had a flour soft taco with al pastor and refried beans and he ordered a carne asada burrito. The meal was magnificent!!
In our travels across Texas, thus far this has been the best and most flavorful Mexican food outside of Waco (Trujillos Comedor Y Cantina). The wife and I shared two omelette plates: Mexican omelette and Vallarta omelette (Hats off to the chef! Wow!) The atmosphere felt family-friendly, and the service was “good enough.” As usual however, we didn’t know whether to seat ourselves and then post-eating if we wait for our check or simply go to the register to pay. FYI: It was the latter. I get the feeling small towns like Three Rivers treat all patrons as locals, but I digress; Choke Canyon State Park is just down the road. But hey, maybe that’s not a bad thing? The menu is vast! You could spend an hour alone perusing it and lusting after each amazing menu item offered. We have another week here, so I reassured mi hungry esposa we’d more than likely be returning, hard-cushion booth seats be damned! No joke! (Bun Busters :-) There several mounted TVs (muted), background music (Mexican), and the occasional “ding” from the drive-thru customer rolling up to the window. Having said that, it didn’t interfere whatsoever with our ability to converse. Price and portions? ¡Muy bien!
Wow. I must say the tea has to be the best in the city. I had a taco salad with beef fajita and it was also pretty great! And of course the chips and salsa were tasty too. The service was also great. So glad I discovered this place!
The food was amazing. Even the refried beans were good and I don't even like beans. Very good
Tasty food, large portions, friendly service, priced well.
We always stop off @ this restaurant on r way to San Juan. The tortillas are excellent & breakfast is excellent. The service is very good and friendly. We'd highly recommend everyone stopping by to visit.
I really enjoy eating at this place. It doesn't matter what time it is to them, if you want a hamburger for BREAKFAST and TACCOS for SUPPER Then that's what you will get, and everyone there is very FRIENDLY and the place is KEPT VERY CLEAN
I don't even know what I got but it was so good. It is #52 on their menu. Service was fast and good. When we showed up they had one lady working and she was doing great!
This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. The food and service was outstanding. It has that small town charm and atmosphere. Defiantly a must try place.
This place is amazing a definite go to when I'm in three rivers portions are big and everything is juicy and has flavor. Some of the best sweet tea I've ever had
Great food, wide selection and friendly staff. Always a busy spot to visit which is good! Always had room for seating.
Great service! Amazing giant 🌮!!! Will definitely make it a regular stop!!
Food was Amazing shrimp cocktail was a large size and so were the shrimp mmm worth the price for our food
Come one come all! This place is so small and hidden, it’s a miracle I found it. I parked my truck across the street and walked over. Delicious food, awesome prices, nice greetings. Nothing more you need but an appetite!

Our family comes through this area once a year on our way to the beach and this is our go to spot for breakfast! :) It’s always been supper yummy, friendly service, and good size tacos. We ordered this time a machacado taco, bean and cheese taco, chorizo and egg burrito, cheese quesadilla, taco loco. All delicious!!! Thank you!
Absolutely love this hole in the wall joint! Their food is authentic and made fresh. Their mini beef tacos are a must try. Great staff. No wait. Fast service.
I had the burrito and it was amazing as well as their queso will definitely return
Family owed business. All decorations are from Mexico. Best enchiladas I've ever had.
Good breakfast tacos! They'll even put cheese on your waffle if your 4 year old wants it. The bacon and egg was tasty and I enjoyed the salsa they gave us. Only downside was that there was probably a 20 minute wait to get our food to go. Would 100% come back here though if I drive through the area.
I had the carne guisada with cheese enchiladas. I will say this, I've ordered this same plate at dozens of restaurants strung across multiple states as I travel for work; and this place is the absolute best. The beans and rice were fantastic, the tortillas were perfect, the meat was savory and tender. This place is worth it and the food was worth way more than the menu price. This really is a hidden gem. But don't take my word for it come try it for yourself!
They did such a wonderful job with my call in order, prices are worth the services. Definitely recommend if your wanting to grab a bite to eat while in Three Rivers!
Enchiladas and Quesadillas were excellent. Service was very good. Will certainly go back

Tacos are big but not like mama's as far as taste.not bad though
I have been here a few times while in the area. The service is always great and friendly.
Good food. Clean restaurant. Nice wait staff.
Service is always is always great , food is made to order (good food)
Food is great services great. But I have to say you need to give women a little credit and be helpful to us as well as our men that work in this community.
A good place to stop and get something to eat. Good food and friendly service. Reasonable prices. About 10 minutes from choke canyon State Park. Right of 281 highway.
The chips and salsa are my favorite! The tea is perfect too! The restaurant is clean! And servers are friendly. The prices are pretty reasonable too:)
Ate here 3x in one weekend. Food is pretty darn good. Menu prices are VERY fair. Service is quick and pretty attentive.
Good food, service a little on the slow side but good food
It was clean service was good there food was good nothing was over cooked and it tasted amazing
Very good chicken and beef fajita tacos. They are open early and a definite asset in the small town of Three Rivers Texas.
We stopped on our way to SPI. The server greeted us quickly, got our drink order and appetizer to us quickly. She was friendly and professional. The food was reasonably priced and there was a good variety. Our meals came out quickly, even though it was pretty busy for a Tuesday lunchtime. The food was good - not fantastic - regular tex-mex. The restrooms were clean and the restaurant was pretty clean - you could tell they clean up between customers. Overall, it was a good choice for our lunch stop. If we’re going through this part of Texas during a mealtime again, I’m sure we’ll stop there.
Excellent food, very fair pricing, and waitresses are very friendly and hard working. Fiesta burrito was so good I thought about it for two days and had to go back for a 2nd one. Only reason for not a 5 star is I had to ask for chips and drink refills and the men's bathroom could use a major cleaning.
We are "out of towners" Atmosphere here is pleasant and the crew this morning were great. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did! 4 stars only because my brothers eggs were cold
Grest food, fast and friendly service. Lingua taco was cooked perfect. Potato, egg, and cheese tacos were great. Great prices and the tea was good too. Will stop anytime we are working construction down south.
Service was good. The food was served hot. Had the special of the day which included fajitas and cheese enchiladas, rice and refried beans. All was savory however the enchilada sauce could have been spiced up a little than just out of a can sauce. I am not from the area so seeing the restrooms and the whole restaurant nice and clean was of great importance to me. Do I recommend this place to others, absolutely.
Good traditional Mexican Cafe. Would recommend. Friendly service and good tasting fare. Good for early breakfast.

Excellent home town restaurant good place to meet locals if you're not from here
Food good, service a little slow when there's several tables. Usually when we go in is for dinner and we aren't in any hurry. They have couple TVs.
Ugh what can I say, they take forever, not too good driv service. I came all the way from San Antonio for nothing. They were 15 minutes from closing time and they refused sell me a shrimp cocktail even when I told them I had came from San Antonio just for this. 🤦🙄🤷
Food is okay. Service I okay. I've had both, good and bad dishes at this restaurant. Beef quesadillas always seems to be a winner.
Takes to long even after calling in an order and giving it 10 minutes after the time they give you that will be ready. Lady always so grumpy and rude as well.
Savory. Food was delish - potatoes were however cold :( - very clean friendly staff.
Very slow they cook and work at a snail pace no sense of urgency they seem confused on orders and if your at work and stop to get food don't stop here they take too long and there wasn't many customers in here. Pick up the pace hire more cooks for goodness sake
I've been going for over a year. Most of the time it has been good but the last couple of times I get a torta the bread is burned and so was the chicken. Maybe they have a new cook....not sure but it's disappointing.
The place is over price they charge for everything and the food not that great. If you ask me if I'll stop here again on my way to San Antonio the answer is no. The waiters are not friendly at all or maybe it was not my day to come here. Not even a smile on there face not very welcoming.

Very slow service, Meat was chewy, and very unproportioned! Do not recommendl
Food is good when they get it right. Service was horrible.
Went there this morning for breakfast, usually everything is great. There was only 2 other tables in there. We were greeted right away, drink order was taken and we also ordered our 2 tacos we wanted. Meanwhile another couple came in after us and ordered their food. As we waited for our 2 tacos, the couple who came in after us got served their breakfast plates. At this point I became quite irrated. Finally after 10 to 15 minutes we received our 2 tacos. One carne guisada and one carne asada, nothing that should have taken that long. Asada taco was full of grizzly meet and guisada meat was tough as well. Not good and no apologies for the wait.
Homemade tortillas are good. Disappointed on beans...tasted like canned beans. Barbacoa was not good. Coffee was decent. Customer service was just ok...had to call staff to get more coffee or anything else we might need. Overall, just ok. There is another Mexican restaurant across Dollar store. Did nit try but will next time to see if they have better quality, tasting food.
The service was ok, the food...not very good. We stopped for breakfast and the beans were very thick, their green salsa...well it was red and tasted gross! The red was more flavorful and the food needed more seasoning.
Not a traditional Mexican food place, its more like americanized tex mex food. Did not have real picadillo,I was given ground beef without potatoes. Only good thing its the tortillas. I was Kind of disappointed. Drinks are also terrible all drinks taste like tap water, tasted very bad. I think if they used purified water it wood improve dramatically.

Bought two sausage egg and cheese tacos to go and by time I ate them I was too far away to bring them back and both of them were riddled with eggshells.
Waitress had attitude they made my boyfriend's order wrong twice and the food on my plate was old and dry
Si I got there ten minutes b4 11:00 and wanted breakfast with coffee but they said they didn’t make coffee anymore for the day. I just left never going back
First no chips and salsa at all. Then I ordered the family appetizer plate it was missing half the food on it. My daughter ordered a small queso as her meal which they didn’t bring I had to tell them don’t worry about it because queso with no chips is a no go anyways. We never got asked once our meals were dropped off if we needed anything or refills. I’m not one to ever complain as I understand staffing etc but this was a let down.
Serna family please take note you name is being dragged through the mud. You breakfast service with you daughters there is very good. However 3 times now I have gone after 6pm and the dinner service was terrible. This time I waited 45 mins for my drink order. The lady and the young girl working were very overwhelmed with 5 tables and at least 8 dirty tables. The last straw was waiting for my food and it coming out wrong. I have a tomato allergy and was not going to wait for my food to be remade. If you are local as we are please take note. If your traveling, be warned. Your name is on the building Serna family, don't let the make you look bad. We will try again in a few months.
Horrible! As soon as they asked if I wanted flour tortillas with my menudo. I should've known.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. That staff is very unprofessional and rude making faces towards us every single time. My 2 year old dropped our cup of water and it went all over the floor our waitress then tells other customers oh that table dropped that water on the floor. Kept forgetting drink orders.
First I Don't like anyone serving my water glasses from the rim. The coffee was good and restroom clean. Service and food was bad. Worst flour ever. The place was not busy . We will not come here again .
Ordered mini tacos and the meat was very dry and tasted very over cooked would not recommend

Taco shells were stale. You think they would make them fresh. Even the chips taste like they come out of a bag.
If I could give negative stars I would. Husband and I ordered chicken enchiladas and enchiladas verdes and 2 teas. About 1/2 way thru eating chips a waitress comes to tell us they don’t have chicken!!! Turned out they did have chicken but something was up with the cooking staff. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Charged us $7.50 for the teas!!!! We will NEVER go back nor recommend this restaurant!!
