Burritos Tijuana Reviews
Me and my parents came here to try their Birria tacos and I have to say they have the best Birria tacos I have ever tried. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Birria tacos.
Great tacos! The menudo is okay, the flavors were rich but it felt like something was missing. The menu is very limited which is a good thing here. Just Tacos, Burrito or Menudo. They have a big variety of drinks. Open seating with plenty of space, they do have a sink by the register window, so you can wash your hands after a delicious meal.
The best menudo in town, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend this place, worth the drive..
This is a must try. If we aren't making the menudo at home or getting it from our other favorite spot this is the go to. Enjoy it there, with some taquitos de cabeza, believe me, you will come back for more.
This place gets packed on weekends their menudo is delicious and served fresh and hot... They also have other food available. I continue to go and it never disappoints me. Thank God 🙏🏼
Best tacos de Cabeza in the hood. I enjoy good cabeza. And Taqueria Tijuana is the spot. We enjoy tacos once a week. I have tried the cabeza, al pastor, pollo, and asada kind. Great food. I have also tried the Menudo, which is a big hit here, and I see plenty of people order that plate consistently. They only offer tacos, burritos, and menudo. Parking sucks but they do have a place to sit in the back.
I have been coming to this place for over 10 years and the Menudo is always on point. They have other options like tacos,Burritos, rice and beans. The only thing is that the owners kids were running around the entire place, my son wanted to get up and join them. I couldn't allow that to happen but he stop eating his food due to the excitement the Lil ones were having. That's the only reason for 3 stars for atmosphere. Other than I enjoy eating here and I enjoy the food. The decor has changed looks very modern and beautiful compared to what it looked like when I strated dining here. Next time I will take pics 📸 so you can see what I'm talking about. Until next time stay blessed and continue doing what you guys do it's really amazing. The menudo has refills as well. The menudo smells good and it clean, no blood clots or slimey texture like Mr. Menudo. This a really good place and prices are super low, compared to most places.
I love Taqueria Tijuana I’ve mostly dined in the mornings. Their service is always great and fast. Never had a problem with the food quality or wait time. I come here for the burrito or menudo which is (chef kiss). The atmosphere feels to me family oriented starting with layout, attentive waiters, to the older lady whom I believe is one of the owners which I may be wrong but is always greeting customers. I always recommend this place to friends and family
This place make good tacos. First time i tried it. I just go to this place for tacos. Just very very delicious i can those tacos everyday for lunch. Everytime i go they are always delicious. Never change flavor is always there. No more other spots. This is it. Try it and u wont be able to argue always well served two is just good enough. 2 for $5.00 what else u want. Plus they are very good good.
One of the most authentic bowl of menudo I've had. Reminded me of my moms menudo and all for a cheap price. We had it with a cup of coffee and even that smelled like mi casita. The service was great, there was no shortage of waiters. Completely recomend this menudo and hope everyone loves it as much as me.
It was the bomb all you can eat menudo , keep it coming 😋
Had the menudo and 2 tacos de asada. Tacos were amazing! Menudo was really great, no hominy.
Foid was good. Poor area so don't expect fancy seating. It was safe. They also have food to go.
As we were celebrating my grandkids birthday at the Griffith park in Los angeles. my two Buddys were talking about this one spot on florence and broadway about some pretty good menudo and that you could get a refill for an extra dollar. so i said ill be on that area ill check it out on sunday. after we went to mass with lupana we headed out to this one place taqueria tijuana. We got there. there is no parking if you are lucky you can park near. we had to go around the block to look for one and we have to park 3 blocks before we got to the place. we went in. there is a sr. playing live music i think he is a little blind but he is very good at singing. they took our order really fast we asked for 3 menudos 3 half little cokes and two coffees. now here is where it gets interesting. we called the guy to give us the check he asked what we ordered and came up with a $46 and change total then he send someone else the second person said $48.50 we gave him the credit card he came back with the receipt and said sorry the total was $51 and change. The menudo is very very very good but the portion is very little they do have the refill option but they charge $4.00 and you can not take it home you have to eat it there at least thats what they guy said. all in all the price for the menudo was $13 each a bit pricy for a small tiny bowl. i do have to mention that my GF did say the menudo was hard but i didnt noticed it. sodas 1/2 litter $3.50 each not sure how much the coffee was i think they have hand made tortillas. it was a good tasting menudo and you could not smell any chuquia. i do recommend going to this place but keep in mine that if you dont get that refill for $4 youll come out of there still hungry.
Just on burrito taste: I was extremely disappointed with the burrito. The carne asada was mostly rice and beans. At $13+, I was expecting a heavy burrito but it was one of the lightest burritos I’ve had. Only reason I went there was because it was a Sunday and my regular guy was closed.
Food is overall good but the experience is not worth it. Cabeza tacos were way too greasy. Asada and al pastor were on point. Menudo doesn’t have hominy which I think is weird. They don’t put salsa out on tables and no bathrooms. No parking and not cheap. The whole place seemed a bit dirty too. Probably won’t go back anytime soon.
The videos and payed critics are over rated the menudo was not a 10/10 meat was hard and their was no hand made tortillas . Very disappointing its 3/10 will not be returning moving on!
Me and my family just went in this morning to have some menudo. That menudo was really bad. It had strong odor and a taste of soap to it. I have never eaten soap but it has a flavor and a slight smell of zote. All my family agrees as well. We all have a stomachache up till now. We won’t be going back anymore. Our experience was horrible. We burp and that soapy flavor comes out.
