A place steeped in history, the toritos are delicious, with many flavors, very reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly and will even tell you where Agustín Lara sat, hahaha ☺️
I've traveled by road with my father across Mexico, only to strangely end up lost in this place. I've never known a place with so much soul and such good people in this country. I'll always have the beautiful memory of taking my father to a cantina for the first time in his life, that he came with me, and that it was this place.
It's a journey back in time through the photo gallery imbued with the festive spirit of Veracruz and Jarocho. A unique experience to sip a few drinks in such an iconic establishment. Order seasonal fruit spreads and Zapatera la Iguana.
Excellent service, their toritos are top quality. A traditional spot in Tlacotalpan.
That's great, it's an excellent bar to remember history and poetry because Agustín Lara used to come here to drink his delicious jobo fruit drinks, you definitely can't miss it if you come to Tlacotalpan...

The service was beyond excellent. The typical drinks were great. Arriving in Tlacotalpan, having a torito (a type of cocktail), and chatting with Don Tobías is like never having been there. I recommend the cajeta (caramel) and pistachio torito.
The best place to drink toritos in all of Veracruz.

A place to stop by for a drink and sit down to transport you back in time, as it retains the uniqueness of a bar of yesteryear.
