Delicious enchiladas and the tisanas are something special. Tasted like abuelita cooked it!

So glad we found this place. We wanted a small bite to eat after walking around without having to spend a lot of money, this place was perfect. The food was delicious and affordable. The servers give you your space but if you wave them over they happily provide help. Cash only

Very good food with reasonable prices. Offers platter deals and individual portions, which is great if you can't decide and want to try a bit of everything. Recommend the birria sope. So delicious!

Had a great bowl of birria here tonight, in a family atmosphere with friendly service. Clean and quiet - highly recommended!

The food is great. It's not huge in portions. The waiters are nice, I assume, part of the family. Tortillas are homemade thin and just delicious. I got the carne en su jugos it was just right not to big not too small. Enough, we are having a heavy dinner later, so it was great. We came on a Wednesday super quiet and fast service. My husband had the enmoladas he loved them. He isn't even a fan of tortillas, and he loved them.

This place is nice and the food is great. I had the birria and a quesadilla, my son had the pozole. Both were great, the birria was top notch although skimped from what a traditional birria plate is. What's crazy is that this place was in the middle of Tlaquepaque on a day when it was packed but it was slow inside. I believe it is because the from of the restaurant is on the inconspicuous side.

Super food, prices and service! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The fresh squeezed orange juice is the best I have ever had. A must visit if you are in Tlaquepaque or Guadalajara! Well worth the trip!

Amazing spot to try loads of local Jaliscan delicacies. My boyfriend had the enchiladas de la abuela and they were delicious, the carrot and potato on top reminded me a bit of queretanas for anyone who has visited Querétaro. I had the enmoladas and they were also amazing and very filling. The prices are very reasonable considering the restaurant's proximity to the main square. The service was great and everyone was really friendly. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to try out typical food as you can also get torta ahogada, carne en su jugo, and much more!

Tasty mexican food. You have a bit of everything that is representative of the state. Right in the heart of San Pedro, next block from the Parian

This place was great. The corn tortillas were worth writing about. It's pretty much your abuela's cooking served in her dishes. If it wasn't Mexico I would have expected to see some of the food come out in cool whip dishes. They had a server who spoke English if you need that.

If you like red pozole, this is the place in the zona turistica of Tlaquepaque. The sopas are also very good. Tranquil atmosphere with national tourists.

Service was slow.. food was okay. We got our guacamole after we finished our entrees.. I order a michelada, but it was taking a while so I asked for a coke. I got the michelada and the coke came when I finished eating.. so I carried a coke bottle out... I think I forgot it at a bar lol

I would recommend going to another restaurant. El Rincon de lá abuela is not bad but I guess they need to improve a lot to get customers back. No paper towel to dry your hands, we had to remind them to bring the food we ordered, there was a fly in our soup, very disgusting. Observation: They do not accept credit cards.

The place is very nice. Came in a Sunday morning and didn’t have much options to drink to begin with. I ordered a menudo and it was super Spicy I couldn’t eat it especially being pregnant, I ordered something else and took forever to arrive so I just cancelled it and left. Honestly didn’t like it I wouldn’t go back. Service isn’t the best either.

If I could get a refund for the hour that was wasted there, I would. After 20 minutes of waiting for someone to take our order, we managed to flag someone down, only for us to wait AN HOUR. They weren’t exactly busy either, with waiters kinda just standing around. We ended up walking out and going to a restaurant nearby.

Extremely long wait times, difficult to get any service, servers were nice when we were actually able to get their attention but very difficult to do so. Idk how the food is. We walked out after waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for 2 quesadillas and one plate of chilaquiles. The restaurant wasn’t even full either. It’s also super dim and depressing inside. The bright pictures posted are not accurate.
