A great place for lunch or dinner. The house wine is good and pairs well with the delicious montaditos appetizer. The paella is also good; I appreciated the choice of seafood paella, mixed paella, or vegetable paella. This way, those of us who don't eat meat and sausages don't have to miss out on enjoying it.
A new place to visit as often as I can. I have to try all their baguettes, although I'd rather describe it as an unusual torta. I ordered the European baguette and found it delicious. I love that they accompany it with a small salad as it adds freshness. The melted cheese with chistorra is delicious; I noticed a smoky flavor in the cheese, perhaps with notes of provolone...highly recommended. Perhaps the only thing I missed was the clericot...I wonder if they actually have wine. Other than that, the place is very pleasant. I love that on Sundays after the Club Toluca game, people come to have a good time; it gives it the spirit of a typical Spanish pub/restaurant.
A place with a distinctly Spanish feel, no matter how you look at it. The food is delicious and looks great. It's quiet, although turning up the music a bit wouldn't hurt. In my opinion, they should have a couple more servers at lunchtime. I say this because the guy who served us was attending to all the tables; he even had to go behind the bar to make drinks. That was a lot of work for one person.

It's always nice to enter a place that evokes the motherland, and even better if the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The service was top-notch, very polite and helpful. As for the food: the mixed paella was excellent, with very high-quality ingredients. The fabada was delicious and not greasy at all. And the baguettes were quite tasty, especially the one with ham. The drinks were very good, and the house wine was good, attractive, and inexpensive: magnificent. The only thing I would improve is the crema catalana, which is more like a custard, but it tastes very rich. A few years ago, I didn't think the quality-price ratio was right, but now I have to admit that this restaurant is well worth it. My sincerest praise to Centro Español; it's one of the best places in Toluca to eat authentic Spanish food.

Interesting cultural place. The waiter speaks English!!!! But no menu in English. Tapas are not grilled. Just a piece of bread with ingredients on top. It doesn't feel like Spanish tapas. No sunny dried tomatoes;( All the dishes that we tried are okay decorated. But was missing the flavor. They didn't have black rice,so we got paella. It wasn't that good. The rice had a good taste but seafood frozen several times before being used. The sausage had an old taste. The wine was amazing!!! With fruit juice!!!! The service was very fast and professional!

Lousy service
The worst service I've ever received in a restaurant; from the dirty tablecloth to the over half-hour wait to be served, the poor quality food (old, hard bread rolls), and very small portions. The Spanish omelet pictured on the menu takes up an entire plate, but when it's served, it's not even a quarter of the plate. To top it off, the average price per person is 400 pesos. I hope they improve because the place is beautiful.
