One of the best Korean restaurants in Buffalo
We seeked out this Korean joint while traveling in Buffalo for our sons college events. The food for Buffalo was excellent, from the Jaja men to ttabboki and various rice dishes. Everything was fantastic for the area and all reasonably priced. We're from NYC, so certainly we wouldn't say it competes with K Town here in NYC, but it was awesome Korean food for Buffalo.
Jjajangmyun and jjampong is good here. They cheap out with their ingredients in their tangsuyuk and use ground beef in their stew instead of real meat to save money but still tastes okay. Disappointed with their hours. Many times I wanted to order food from here but they are closed. I get closing one day a week but two closing two days a week, only open half day Saturday and only open during a few hours for lunch and dinner makes it almost impossible to order here when you want it. Place is small but well kept.
The best restaurant for Korean food in buffalo!! Owner is super friendly and the food is amazing and also very reasonably priced🙌🙌
Korean food is hard to find here in Buffalo, let alone a good one. Thats why this place is so important for us to support. The food here is authentic and on point. This is one of those place that you hope never runs out of business, but in fact thrives. Food is great, service is good and the atmosphere is warm. I usually get their jajang which is a dry noodle dish with black bean sauce. It is a staple in Korea and they do a good job staying true to the original taste. We also love their yang nyeom chicken which is another popular Korean fried chicken dish that is doused in chili garlic sauce. Great place if you are looking for something familiar or new!
Koreana is one of the best spots around! The prices are affordable, the atmosphere is cozy, and every dish I’ve tried has been amazing. The Yangnyeom Chicken is a must-try, perfectly crispy, sweet, and spicy. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving Korean food!
Koreana is hands down one of the best Korean restaurants I’ve been to! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
I’ve had their jajang, jjam bbong, and sweet and sour pork. All are really good, and remind me of the Korean dishes I loved in Dallas,TX that I’m far from now! I can’t wait to make my way through their whole menu.
Me and my partner had a delicious meal here! I had jjajangmyeon and he had the spicy pork box. They were very generous with the pork, so much that he almost ran out of rice 🤣🤣 The food was very good! Will definitely be returning to try other dishes. Self serve utensils/napkins and water pitcher in the fridge. The place was clean and tidy! Btw, bring cash for a discount!
Food is incredible!! and very reasonably priced :) a rarity nowadays . I stumbled upon this gem and have been going back ever since. i dont know korean food as well as some but it tastes very authentic to me. tastes like someones korean grandmother blessed you with a meal. highly recommend if u like classic American style chinese food give this place a shot for a higher quality meal that will leave your belly happily satisfied and not upset <3
(DINE IN NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS MOMENT) I ordered Gamjatang(Pork Kalbi) and Jjambbong. Originally from Korea who visited hundreds of famous authentic restaurants in Korea, I would say these were just an average taste. Gamjatang tasted like Korean instant Ramen and was salty so that I had to pour more water. For Jjambbong, it was ok but couldn't finish it. However, considering the price and the fact that here is not NYC, I think it's okay.
Food was burnt and disgusting! Rude too do not come here
Their food is actually good. However the owner does not know how to use DoorDash, and they keep adding promotions on their dishes, and then cancelling every order that includes something with promotions. Everytime they do this I call them and try to tell them how to remove the promotions through doordash ( I work at a restaurant that also uses DoorDash and tried to explain how to remove the promotions) and the owner is disrespectful and just says he’s not using promotions every time instead of listening. He hangs up on me and refuses to listen and gets so rude. They’re extremely disrespectful. Customer service is trash. I literally don’t mind paying full price but they always have promotions on the dishes I want and therefore can’t have it because they just cancel everytime. I’m over it. It’s been atleast 6 times they’ve lost my business and a handful of times by friends and family where they’ve done this. Lost out on hundreds of dollars to save ten. Idiotic.
Awful service and attitude. No water no table service at all. We paid tips and they request customers to clean up the table in a very rude manner. Are these ranking serious????? We were normal couple just looking for a high ranking restaurant for regular meal….
There is no service, also they don’t have any hot tea water at all. we found the hair in soup. When we walk in the restaurant they don’t greet to us. Food is not good. Bulgogi was real bad. I never ate that weird taste of bulgogi. And only 3 kind of side dishes. And customers have to serve yourselves amd funny thing is when you pay they ask tipping. which is so funny. bad service. never come back again. i never experienced such bad service.!!!
