Restaurante Bar Riley Toreno Reviews
The vibes always been good here. I'll go a little out of the way to support a bar that takes care of its people - this place does that.
Great hidden gem. Good food and great prices.
Great food, pizza is the best! Atmosphere is very chill, great bartenders.
Pretty decent dive bar. I had the pizza which was pretty decent for a bar. And the beers were cold.
Awesome neighborhood bar. Delicious food. Cold beer. Great bartenders. Juke box. Outdoor space. TV's for the games. One of the best bars in JC!
I gave it 3 stars for atmosphere to keep the normals out. Great food with a dark semi dive/ old man feel. Yes.
A good experience. We were visiting from the UK and looking for a quick meal. Food was good and Guinness was properly poured. Polite, efficient and freindly staff.
Best spot in JC hands down , top staff , best pizza in town , the entire menu is top notch to be honest with awesome specials. Affordable and locally owned by jersey city’s finest
If you’re in Jersey City and looking for an incredible dining experience, O’Leary’s is the place to be! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but what truly sets this spot apart is the outstanding service, led by none other than the owner, Kevin. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality make you feel like a valued guest every time. Now, let’s talk food—specifically, the ricotta cheesecake. It’s hands down the best I’ve ever tasted, melting in your mouth with every bite! And don’t even get me started on their melts; they’re out of this world. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, O’Leary’s is a must-visit. You won’t be disappointed!
As an experienced bartender and customer, I don’t care how good the food, sports TV, or bang for your buck is, if you don’t have friendly and attentive staff you don’t have my business. This place made me feel like family and as busy as it got I still received top attention! Happy 10th anniversary and here’s to the next 10! Nice menu- great wings!
Ordered through uber eats. Was craving a burger. When trying a new place you can really only go based on the reviews. The burger was PHENOMENAL. One of the best burgers I've ever had. When ordering delivery the food gets to you all soggy and not perfect. This was perfect. The burger was so juicy and huge. The fried egg melted into the bacon making it even more perfect. No ketchup needed. Definately a go-to in Jersey City.
Delicious food, great people and an awesome atmosphere! Such a great place to hang out with friends. We did a reunion of sorts and I ordered a "regular" cheeseburger and fries and they were cooked to perfection, just as I had asked. I enjoyed every bit of what I could and took home the rest (and it was a great helping...no skimping). This wasn't my first visit and it won't be my last.
O’Leary’s is, hands down, the best bar in JC. Great drinks, parking and delicious food. The daily specials rival any bougie restaurant in downtown JC without the attitude or high price. Menu classics include the Mrs OLeary’s melt, the chicken pesto sandwich, Thai chili wings and oh baby those fried pickles. I’ve used them for catering and for events held at the bar and food was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced and they worked with me to make it perfect. All of that is great-and what’s even better are the people that call OPH home. Kevin the owner makes it clear that everyone is welcome at his bar, the bartenders and kitchen staff are so down to earth and friendly and the customers act like they know you, even if you’re a rookie. OPH is family.
O'Leary's is owned and operated by a Jersey City firefighter, and is a local hang. Memoriabilia dots the walls recognizing Jersey City's first responders. The ambiance is relaxed, with dining tables, high-tops in the bar area, and ample outdoor patio with seating. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is incredible for a casual neighborhood bar. They often feature burgers of the day (check their IG) and other limited time culinary creations. Best bar in the area, I say!
I watched Arsenal smash Newcastle in the premier league, at this Pub, my steak sandwich was delicious and 2 shots of whiskey kept me gunning for a win...
This place has been around since the 1950s. It's a real bar/pub. It's nice inside with a long, welcoming bar and some tables scattered around. There is a nice outside space as well with views of lower Manhattan. There's a vintage firefighter theme with great old photos and lots of service patches on the walls. I went to watch Game 7 of the NBA Finals. It was my first (1st) visit. I was hoping this would be a good place to watch it. It was a quiet Sunday night. Plenty of TVs, lots of stools, and a very welcoming professional bartender. Plenty of booze and beer on tap. A nice food menu and reasonable prices all around. I asked for recommendations from that great bartender and he offered some of his top picks. I followed his advice and got the, "Mrs. O'Leary's Melt" version of a Paddy/Patty melt. With lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and side of onion rings. It was a really good, juicy burger on marble rye. The onion rings were solid. The guy to my left had an impressive looking pizza. The lady to my right was eating some tasty looking wings. The fantastic bartender had recommended those items as well. I'll definitely be going back to try those. Overall it was the perfect place to go watch the game. The men's room could use an upgrade. Looking forward to my next visit.
Definitely give it 5 star for service because the bartender/ server was very inviting. We were a bit skeptical when we entered because it looked like a biker bar but we had no issues. Food didn't hit the spot for me but I would likely try some other options if I'm in the area again.
