Acquamarina Torino Reviews
They're very welcoming, the breakfasts are good, the buffet is high quality. If there are people around, they make you wait a bit; you're served right away.
Excellent lunch. Although it looks like a bar/ice cream parlor, it actually offers excellent dishes with a wide selection and fast service. Highly recommended.
Exceptional, high-quality products! It's not a local café, but a vendor of rare and precious products, carefully selected for those who want to treat themselves. I'll be back!
Lunchtime is excellent. The menu is always on par with the best cafes downtown. Excellent selection of tramezzini, panini, and breakfast pastries. The owner and staff are highly professional and courteous. High-quality coffee, a vast selection of the best Italian panettone (even summer ones!), excellent wines, champagne, and spirits. Galüperie (gourmandises for those who don't understand the local dialect!), featuring the finest artisanal Italian food.
It's always been a popular spot in the area for its excellent and generous aperitivo. Even during the pandemic, with two outdoor seating areas, they manage to offer aperitivo (no longer buffet-style, but served at your table by an efficient and friendly waiter) that is both interesting and always adequate (see the abundance in the attached photo). The Spritz is very good, and the service is always top-notch. Highly recommended, definitely worth trying, exploring, and returning. Good luck, and see you next time.
One of the best lunch places in the area!
Excellent location. Welcoming and well-decorated. Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms. A little noisy when the room is full. Quick lunch options both inside and outside. Wide selection of wines, including high-quality ones. Organic products available, parking depending on time of day.
We sampled the evening aperitivo, drank a glass of good red wine, and tried their €12 mixed platter with green tomini cheese, prosciutto, and melon, Russian salad with hard-boiled eggs, crostini with gorgonzola and walnuts, zucchini stuffed with soft cheese and caramelized Tropea, rice salad, and a hot plate of baked potatoes and zucchini gratin. They also served excellent breadsticks to accompany the aperitivo. You can sit both inside and outside on a double terrace, immediately adjacent to the bar entrance and just across the Corso Francia side street, between the side street and the main street. A pleasant experience with good value, freshly prepared artisanal cuisine, and attentive, friendly service.
The apericena is exceptional, done only once but definitely to be repeated. Rich, quality and above all with many Piedmontese specialties well cooked. We had a great time, the dish they brought us was really abundant and satisfying. One of the few left for which it is worth spending time and money.

Downtown bar prices without being a downtown bar or even vaguely resembling one. Breakfast bill 10.20, I pay in cash with 50 (as strongly suggested by the posters inside the place), it cost more the time of 'do you have 20 cents? No? Some coins? Nothing? And going around collecting all the coins to give me change rather than making 10 round ones and continuing to serve the other customers who were waiting. Being overpriced, with coffee at 1.4 and industrial croissants at 1.8, makes sense to be able to round up without risking touching the margin. Tight-fisted.
I returned to Acquamarina after a year. Total disappointment! I should have known as soon as I walked in that things had changed. Saturday nights were usually packed with people enjoying aperitifs, but on Saturday we were the only ones there. They served us two non-alcoholic drinks and two plates of aperitifs. Everything was very cold straight from the refrigerator. All for the modest price of 46 euros!!!! The worst thing is that I was sick and still haven't recovered, and I hope it's because the appetizers were too frozen. I'll never go again.
Paid 18€ for two small beers when the buffet was half empty. Ridiculous.
