Lovely authentic wine bar with kind service and delicious snacks

A place with heart: a chalkboard with daily specials, various wines by the glass, excellent cask wine, panettone, artisanal cookies, and homemade desserts. Select music, tables inside and out. Excellent bread, and a truly pleasant setting! Crostini, bruschetta with creamed cod, popcorn, taralli, breadsticks...help yourself.

It's always nice to come here. The atmosphere is friendly, like that of a neighborhood bar, while the adjoining room offers a refined atmosphere, with interesting small exhibitions. The lunch menu is varied and healthy, with good seafood dishes on Fridays, and the wines are good. A truly interesting place, one to return to often.

REAL PIOLE STILL EXIST The main characteristic of a piola is, first and foremost, its welcoming atmosphere, which makes you feel at home, nestled in the neighborhood as a meeting place. I immediately knew I was in the right place; I compliment the friendly and welcoming owners. The blackboard menu immediately highlights the Venetian influence, featuring typical dishes from that region. For lunch, I opt for an octopus, potatoes, and celery dish (€7.50). Delicious, perfectly cooked and served at the right temperature. Water €1 Coffee €1 But it's not just that; it's also a meeting place for spritzes and aperitifs, platters, and desserts. Just a stone's throw from Via Garibaldi, there's a treasure. Stop by and tell me it's not. 😁 In the meantime, I'm adding it to the list of top places in Turin 😊

I visited this place for an evening aperitif with good wine and a decent platter of cured meats and cheeses. The place is like an old Turin bar, slightly revamped, with self-service at the counter. Parking is difficult.

A meeting place suitable for students and workers over 25. The place is small but quaint, and the prices are more than affordable. The only drawback is that it's so small you almost never find a seat inside or outside. The special features and service are the free appetizer bowls and pasta served every half hour or so. The atmosphere is friendly and cheerful.

Thirteen of us went for an aperitivo. I have to say I'd never seen a bar where you had to pay for everything during an aperitivo... Even peanuts were €1 a portion. We're not talking about kids going to a bar and eating for free while drinking a Coke!! We ordered three rounds of Spritz or similar drinks each and four or five bottles of Prosecco. We weren't scared, though; we BOUGHT everything in the display case: sandwiches, tramezzini, focaccia, bruschetta... We emptied the display case for €2-3 each. And when the bill came to €500 and odd, I didn't even round it up. I had a good time thanks to the company, but maybe somewhere else would have been better.
