Busters Café Torino Reviews
I was very ill recently and made a pick up order one pizza I ordered I didn't want a couple things on it. I live way out on the east end in the country. So I make the trip grab my order get home and my pizza had what I didn't want on it. So I call back and let me tell you. These fine folks made me another pizza so in the process of going to get it as I mentioned I was very ill. I had feel back asleep. When I wake up my wife is like you never went and picked up your pizza. So I call them they say yes its here but cold. No biggie im going to pick it up I like cold pizza. But when I pull up in the drive thru im taking it as the owner he comes to the windows and says hey I made that pizza fresh for you again. Folks I can't tell you how good that made me feel. The gentleman would not take any money from me. So this man went way above and beyond and all he asked of me was to come back. Well sir you have no worries there. I will go no where else for my pizza slash beer nights out with family and friends but your fine establishment. Thank you for not being corporate customers dont matter B.S. you are great Turonis absolutely great.
Drove 2 1/2 hours to go see the Jeff Dunham concert but wanted to get a quick bite before it so I googled and found Turonis. The pictures do them no justice! Their pizza is by far the best pizza my family has ate. I love the historical/antique furniture and pictures and the service was a 10/10. We're going to come back down just to eat there!
Jason was our server/ bartender- we were from out of state and he took the time to explain the menu and special brews to us and was super attentive all night even while being slammed. i highly recommend this restaurant as both the food and spirits were top notch. Be sure to ask for Jason! John Paul was also off duty but made sure to help with out selections and also gave us recommendations for the food as well. Best experience in a new town!@ Highly recommend!!
Not enough stars for this pizza!! Went to school at UE, loved it then, now I have all my family from Ohio and Texas and Indiana all coming here. Seriously we go out of our way so we can eat it because it is that good... Pepperoncinis, that crispy cracker crust, an abundance of toppings and every single time they knock it out for the park. My favorite is the forget me not on weinbach. It's the best! Be proud because you guys every single time hit it out of the park!!!! ❤️
One of my absolute favorite pizza places ever. Drove 2.5 hours for pizza! Well we had one thing we had to do but this pizza was on our lunch ch stop today. Also have awesome salads as well. Ive never anything besides pizza and salad. Its a thin crust that holds its shape when you pick it up and the topping are generously applied! Highly recommend. There is a a bar with some tvs and you you can get drinks as well!
I ordered a nine inch pizza, Pepsi, and grilled cheese bites. Staff was polite and prompt. I love looking at the decorations. Vibe was very relaxed. Sauce was on point! I can tell they use fresh ingredients. I ordered the house special, tomatoes was a nice touch of flavor! Crust was perfect crisp but not hard. I loved the price of the items. Will be a regular from now on..
Great pizza and cheese bread! Hot and ready when I arrived!! Stopped again to get a growler fill. Will the bartender is great! Family had dinner on a Friday night. They were busy, but we got seated right away. Service was prompt and friendly. Garlic cheese bread and house special tasted very good! Picked up some pizzas and a growler. Great food and staff!!
Food is delicious and the service was fast with attentive servers. One of the chicken sausage pizzas arrived without chicken sausage, so they quickly gave us a new pizza with sausage while we ate the other pizzas. The place has a really cute vibe. We went on a weeknight and there was plenty of parking and seats available.
Love Main St. Turoni's, it looks and smells like a pizza shop should. My wife and I prefer to sit on the bar side by the window but you get the best pizza in Evansville regardless. Delivered hot and delicious on thin cracker crust to your table it goes down best with a cold beer, either macro-brew or Turoni's micro, your choice. We've always had good service, good food and a good time here. I recommend.
This is by far the best pizza in the tri-state area. They have multiple locations but my favorite is the original on north Main st in Evansville. The building is old and very neatly decorated with old items and details. The service here is always outstanding and the property is clean. Try their garlic cheesey bread it is delicious. Favorite pizza is the house special. This place is really easy to find using Google Maps and is on North Main St. in Evansville, Indiana.
Working locally from out of state for a few weeks. First time visit. Pizza and craft beers were pretty damn good. I will definitely visit again before I leave. Staff were friendly and the ambience of the place was great. Very relaxing place. My one and only complaint is that they don't use fresh jalapeños.
Cool building and atmosphere. Food was tasty. Service was Meh. We were on the bar side so maybe better service in dining room.
If you order online they tell you a time the order will be ready on the online receipt. Then you get a confirmation text to your phone telling you when your order will be ready. I've ordered online twice. Both times there was a 30 minute difference in time. Use the time on the receipt not the text. The staff is always great.
Atmosphere was great. Service great. Got the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. Just giving feedback as we are avid pizza eaters and reviewers. The flavor was good just wasn't enough of it.. Pros- Chicken is fresh Cheese is high quality Cons- Too dry and not enough sauce . Chicken chunks are too big leading to weird proportion of bread to toppings. Tastes like you're eating crunchy plain chicken breast with a very faint buffalo in the background. I'd love to come back and try other pizzas as this may not be your alls best selling pizza. May adjust when trying again. I am coming from a place of genuine feedback too because we really liked the restaurant.
