La Felicità Torino Reviews
The food is excellent and the guys are always smiling... especially him in the kitchen. I've always had a good time
I haven't been back in over 10 years. But the quality and service are always the same. Friendly, discreet, and very fast. Generous dishes. Cover charge €1.30 per person. Excellent draft lager. The ravioli and eggplant are good. The salad and spring roll are both excellent. The Pesce Felicità (Fish of Happiness) is the restaurant's star dish; they even asked me if they could de-drain it. As a fish lover, I prefer to do it myself. A half pineapple for fruit and the classic plum grappa are free at the counter. Happiness squared!
The best !! We love Elena
I liked it. Ravioli xl size, good rice. Prices average, maybe even a little cheaper. One negative note: 1 liter bottle of water €3.50.... Excessive, in my opinion, even if in a glass bottle. Price disproportionate to the rest of the menu.
For years, Ristorante La felicità has been a landmark for several Turin neighborhoods, located on the border between them. The atmosphere is familiar and friendly, a calm, uncluttered environment with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, comfortable with children and pets. The table service is excellent, and the cleanliness is evident. The cuisine could skip the faux-Japanese international dishes and focus on Chinese; the Italian fare is better than many Italian-run restaurants. The prices are excellent, and the food is never heavy, but well-cooked. The braised ravioli are very good. The absurd number of negative reviews in other "guides" is surprising. Perhaps they're paid for by someone, unless they're simply champions of the coldest, most flashiest modernity.
It's a stylish Chinese restaurant right on Corso Francia. It has a lovely outdoor area, a clean space, and a warm welcome. The food is comparable to other Chinese restaurants in terms of selection and quality. For lunch, you can choose between a fixed Chinese or Italian menu or à la carte dishes. The lady makes the tiramisu herself.
Food of good quality, prices very reasonable, restaurant very clean and staff very competent and friendky
I've only used takeout. The food is average, neither good nor bad. The atmosphere, however, is a bit sad, far from happy. A little more care would be needed, and at least changing the (grey) tablecloths and putting in warmer, more welcoming lighting.
We sat outside; there was no air conditioning. Good food. We ordered the hot mixed antipasto, which was lacking in presentation, and then only a few pieces for the price. Almond chicken, few almonds. Good ravioli.
I started going to this place about 20 years ago, and quite regularly, but then, after moving and then because of COVID, I went less and less. Last night, out of nostalgia, I went back, but I didn't find the pleasure I once had. The dishes, even though they have the same name, are different and I was a bit disappointed. The sushi was sold out (?), the service was polite but slow, and the price was good.
The food, both Chinese and sushi, is very good, with adequate portions and excellent prices. Service could be improved on weekends and holidays, but it works well during the week. The only downside (hence the 3 stars) is the service: the waiters are clumsy and sloppy (they served my order to another table) and the owner's son is rude and arrogant, but fortunately she is very kind and attentive to her customers. Recommended.
Get ready to need a liter of water after as the food is very salty. The rice, focaccia, and chicken with grilled mushrooms were tasty but left my lips numb from the salt.
I was there last night for dinner, rice noodles with good shrimp, fried chicken and as if I had eaten fried shoe soles, not eaten.
The place doesn't have air conditioning, which is a good thing since they don't even have fans. It's impossible to eat without sweating your way through the water. Service is very, very slow, even with the place half empty. Apparently, one of the cooks refuses to come to work because it's too hot in there. And who can blame him?
Not good enough. Two or three things could be improved: the service was too slow and inadequate. After ordering, there were three of us. A spring roll arrived, brought by the waitress with a casual manner, which I ate alone while the other two diners stared at me. The other dishes were similarly unimpressive, I'd say... Air conditioning on low, so it was hot. Food: a bit acceptable, mostly not. My advice: don't get the Ascoli olives; the ones at In's are better. The price is good, affordable. The owner is kind.
Un locale difficile da definire. Triste, di una pochezza in tutto ... sbiadito, senza suoni, senza odori , senza gentilezza, senza insomma... Di cui se ne può fare decisamente senza . Per fortuna sol…
With the change of management, it's really awful! I wanted to order takeout, and for the umpteenth time, to get 3 SWEET AND SOUR SAUCES BY PAYING FOR THEM, they REFUSED TO GIVE THEM! It's not the first time they've refused!! Terrible! I canceled the order rather than eat dry food without sauce and, I repeat, PAYING FOR IT, not asking for it for FREE, I preferred to go to MEXICO!!!
Very bad service. I have to wait more than 45 minutes, only for one dish, which honestly taste just average. Better go somewhere else for a nice Chinese dinner
