Peperosso Torino Reviews
A welcoming and friendly place. The staff is absolutely kind and attentive. The food is excellent, with special mention for the onion soup and dessert. The final bill is like nothing else. Recommended.
This is an authentic trattoria, not one of those fake chains or those opened by some random YouTuber or TikToker hoping to capitalize on their fleeting fame. This is a neighborhood trattoria, but not just that, frequented by real people, not food influencers looking for a free meal or a tip. When I went for dinner, I had an excellent Piedmontese appetizer (tomino elettrico, tomino al bagnetto rosso, insalata russa, and vitello tonnato), an excellent bagna cauda served in a classic fujot (a sort of pasta dish) with plenty of raw and cooked vegetables, excellent braised beef agnolotti in a reduced broth to degrease the fat, and an excellent bonet (a type of pasta) for dessert, all accompanied by an excellent Nebbiolo wine on tap, and all at an excellent, absolutely competitive price. If you prefer the à la carte menu, the selection is (guess what) excellent, including pizza. Add to this the friendly staff, the charming owner, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere, and you'll have a genuine, high-quality place, free from unnecessary fuss, where you'll want to return whenever you can.
Managed to find this restaurant while staying in the city for a week, and can I just say the pizza I ordered was second to none, in my opinion it was delicious. I cannot remember the name in Italian, a Da Vialo or something, a spicy salami pizza. Not too spicy, left a nice tingle. The base and crust was just as good as the rest of the pizza. It was wonderful. And the service was very friendly, staff were nice, and at first was awkward with language barriers, but managed just fine. Atmosphere was very nice, had a traditional Italian feel to it, what I expect in an Italian restaurant. Anyone coming to Turin at any point should give this restaurant a try, the pizza is what I imagined Italian pizza would be like and more. Will come to again.
A welcoming place, Pino and the entire staff were extremely friendly. The menu included a selection of Piedmontese appetizers, two first courses, a cheese board, and dessert. The plentiful, high-quality food satisfied everyone. Definitely recommended and worth returning to try other menus.
Good pizza and pasta. Good service. Forgot our bag, went back to search for it and staff kept hold of it for us without calling at their restaurant.
The greatest hamburger I’ve ever had. Not like any hamburger - a very special one. Spectacular family owned business with fantastic service. The most lovely experience in Turin. It saved my life!

Exceptionally friendly people and excellent food

Extremely nice place to eat at. Food is priced fair and relatively affordable and service staff is kind and patient. Recommend this if you’re in the neighborhood. After our first dinner we had to double back and go for a second time (that’s a testament to how good the food is if you’re talking value for money and taste). It won’t be the best pizza you’ll have in your life but it’s robust, honest, and authentic. Really love this place and can’t wait to come back next time.
Pizza top!!!

Great local atmosphere and pizza
Living just steps away, I've seen this place grow, and what I love is that I see it evolve, always for the better. They've changed the menu, and the prices a bit, but the quality has improved significantly, while still remaining a classic trattoria with a genuine atmosphere. I ate well; the Piedmontese appetizer was balanced and rich, but what surprised me most was the fried anchovies and sardines. A dish like this, enjoyed with a house white wine, is worth a visit. They're plentiful, so don't overdo the appetizers and first courses. In my humble opinion, it's worth trying and repeating.
I went to this place for the mixed boiled meat evening, which included pumpkin flan, peppers in bagna cauda sauce, and seven cuts of Fassona beef. I'll start by saying that we were drawn to this evening after having had a divine lunch here, so much so that we invited six other people to this mixed boiled meat evening. The food was good, but the portions were extremely small; my plate contained one carrot, one potato, and three pieces of meat that I had to dig through the broth they were soaking in. They used half a pepper and served the entire table, but there was only a third of the flan... We'll definitely be back for lunch, but our table unanimously rejected the themed evening. The staff were kind and friendly, and the place was welcoming.
