Ufficio Torino Reviews
Great staff! You know it’s a great place to be as a tourist when listening to the helpers switch from Italian to French to English to Spanish with a steady line of customers! Get your museum guide here because Turin is a city full of museums!
Bought a one year pass for a multitude of museums all over the Piemonte region. Highly recommended if you re planing on visiting more than 2 museums.
Very nice and helpfull peoples.
Very helpful starting point when spending a few days in Turin. We bought our tourist passes here and they also offered a deal on a transport pass at the same time, which worked out a very good deal. The staff were very friendly and didn't rush us at all, despite there being a queue.
Lucia and Giuseppe were extremely helpful. They gave us clear information and shared their pride in Turin with us. We returned several times and always came away with exactly what we needed. This was the best tourist information experience that we ever had and a real pleasure. Dolores Keegan Yes, Lucia's history of Turin was absolutely superb - and incidentally led to us visiting the citadel and going down the tunnels, which was hugely interesting.
Stefano did a great “welcome first time visitors” guided tour in Turin, his charismatic personality and strong delivery made the tour unforgettable.
Friendly and helpful staff. Bought Torino card here.
We had a terrific experience with Monica and volunteer Rene. Both were generous with their time and we never felt hurried. Monica not only advised us on museums to see based on our interests, she also told us the buses to take from our hotel to the various museums. He also recommended we buy the Piemonte card and we're very glad we did. Both Monica and Rene were welcoming first faces to a beautiful city!
Very friendly and informative. One stop here will be worth it. You'll be better able to plan your trip with some insider knowledge that you'll struggle to find online
We bought the Turin Pass and travel pass here and highly recommend it. We saw 11 museums in 3 days! Monica was so helpful - and her English was perfect.
Visited here to obtain reduced-price 72-hour tourist tickets, using my Torino-Piemonte Card. Great value - and the Torino-Piemonte Card itself is exceptionally good value and worked brilliantly. Overall, Torino's tourist office does a great job, with an excellent website and e-mail newsletters.
The staff was incredible. I had many questions and Chiara and the staff did ... a great and patient task
Giorgio was super helpful to this anxious solo traveler. He spent time answering all of my questions and never rolled his eyes at me. This is the first time I used a tourist info station and now I know the merits. Get the Torino Card! It lets you into beautiful museums with few visitors and allows you to see inside gorgeous buildings. And take the tour at Palazzo Borolo, the docent was awesome!
The gentleman who helped us at the front desk was very friendly and he gave us many great ideas and tips, thank you 😊
I'm sure the staff here are v helpful and informative. However if you're looking to buy a five day Turin card make doubly sure that's what you get given. We asked for 2 five day cards, didn't check what was printed on them (our mistake) and only discovered the error on day 4 of a carefully planned 5 day itinerary. I suspect the 3 day pass is the most popular and it was perhaps assumed that's what we wanted? As I say, it was down to us to check it but I wouldn't want others to have the same thing happen to them.
Does not answer the phone in the supposedly opening hours.
On two different occasions, I was told I could buy a ticket for the bus on the bus. Got fined €35 each (€70) because you can't. Buy a ticket at a tobacconist!! Buy several at once!
One of the female staff shouted something to me in Italian inside the tourism office (as if I would understand - I am a tourist for God´s sake!) Until now it is a mystery to me what I did that was so wrong. Maybe Torino doesn't want tourists after all?
