Nestled in a corner of great beauty and tranquility, between the Ticino River and the mainland, lies the Piazzetta di Tornavento. The refined cuisine features unusual pairings that complement every dish on the menu perfectly. This is my second visit to this restaurant; I waited to review it to get a more complete assessment (having tasted several dishes). I recommend it to everyone; the staff is attentive and friendly. Compliments to the chef and staff. Veal fillet with red wine reduction, perfectly cooked.

A perfect evening at sunset – An unforgettable experience! My name is Emanuela, and I'd like to share the wonderful experience I had at this restaurant. From the first moment, I was greeted with great courtesy and attention: the staff was kind, smiling, and always available, without ever being intrusive. I had the pleasure of dining right at sunset, and the view was simply breathtaking. The relaxed atmosphere, combined with the warm colors of the sun slowly setting on the horizon, made the moment truly magical. The food? Simply delicious. Every dish was carefully crafted, from appetizers to dessert, with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. You can clearly sense the passion in the kitchen and the love for tradition, with a touch of creativity that makes each course unique. I ate wonderfully, savoring authentic flavors that left an indelible memory. At the end of the dinner, I was very surprised and kindly offered two glasses of myrtle liqueur. A gesture I truly appreciated and which made the evening's conclusion even more enjoyable. It's rare to find such attention to detail and customer service, and it absolutely deserves recognition. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for not only excellent food, but also a complete experience of flavor, beauty, and hospitality. I will definitely be back!

A beautiful evening with a special view, overlooking the Ticino River is La Piazzetta, a restaurant offering a varied and very unique menu. The revisited octopus Catalana was superb, as were the tuna and beef tartare. Second courses were equally delicious and unique, with combinations of herbs and toasted nuts that blended perfectly. What can I say? A wonderful evening, very attentive service. We also appreciated the homemade seeded bread, served warm. Pets are welcome; we were there with our dog.

What a pleasant surprise! Looking for a restaurant open on Tuesda, we stumbled upon Tornavento. The location is stunning, and this restaurant is a pearl. Few dishes carefully thought and realized, good wine served also by te glass, an excellent service (owner and staff are so young and nice) and the bill is very fair! Absolutely to try...
