Just delicious! Bread and pastries always fresh, and soft to the bite. My son and his friend really enjoyed their frozen drinks. Can't wait to return, again.

This is the best café and bakery in Torrance. Their latte is simply outstanding, and the salted caramel is also excellent. My favorite breads are the jalapeño cheese bread and the potato croquette. I highly recommend visiting early in the morning, when the bread is freshly baked and just coming out of the oven. It pairs perfectly with a morning walk. I truly enjoy every sip.

I always wanted to try 85 C Bakery Cafe in Torrance location. When I arrived at the parking lot, it was full. I had to park a little far away from the store, but I didn't have a problem finding a parking space. This store is a Asian franchise bakery cafe. And they have specialized desserts. When I walked into the store, I could see people were waiting in long lines. They have a self served system. They displayed all sorts of sweets, such as pastry, sweet bread & cakes, sandwiches, and you can choose your favorite desserts. They offered various drinks, which included coffee, tea, Boba milk tea, and fruit slushes. The bakery was cleaned and well organized. And the staff seemed friendly and attentive, but there was a long wait to check out. Anyway, their desserts are so delicious. I tried a strawberry shortcake. It was creamy, not too much sweet, and It was light and delightful. It was scrumptious! Also, I tried a sweet bean bread. It was delicious and tasteful. I would like to recommend this cafe to everyone. They have the delicious & tasty desserts!

We got a mango flavored cake for my cousins birthday. The cake was really delicious and the sweet level was exactly how we needed. Definitely recommend this for their outstanding cakes.

Those location is very clean and well run. They get very busy but the staff is very quick and efficient. There are a wide selection of breads and desserts. Becarful I have come across this problem a few times where the signs do not match the product. They have a beverage bar that handcrafts your beverages.

I know this bakery and coffee shop from Taiwan but never saw one of this size. They have an on-site bakery so you know everything is super fresh. Great wide selection of breads and savory breads and rolls along with cakes fresh juice and of course a variety of coffee and teas that can be added to with coffee jelly or boba etc. service is great and with on-site parking just outside this is super convenient. Can highly recommend

Chic little bakery chain that has great Asian-influenced european baked goods and boba. The Torrance 85⁰C is remodeling at the moment, but it's still open for business.

What a dessert bakery should be. Always has a good selection of goodies to eat. They have a standard set of baked breads and pastries along with the seasonal offerings. Hot and cold beverages are also available. This location is currently under construction but they are open.

Love this place. Haven’t been for years and happened to be in the area today, so popped in to get my favorite marble taro bread. Saw Hokkaido cheese tarts, so decided to try one—and it’s delicious! I noticed they have an app now, so maybe it could be useful in the future order ahead and skip the line?

Constantly great bakery goods and beverages. I always get the Hawaiian chicken when available and the salted ice coffee. For now they have done away w the trays and pre wrapped each item. I can easily hold 4 and a coffee 😊

Nice open area where you can see all the goodies! Girl at the front counter was super friendly and very informative as it was our first time there. Nice and clean place with lots of breads n sweets to see, oh and they also have Boba. Their display will make you want everything in sight. Friendly people, good sweets to try. If you're looking for some sweet treats that are delicious then this is the place to visit. Loved it.😋

Possibly the BEST Coffee? I recently just discovered this bakery, coffee shop. And what a Gem it is! Baked goods, sweets, and other treats. I have yet to sample everything as I'm a new customer here and only have been here twice. I can tell you, as a coffee drinker, their sea salt coffee is simply awesome. The price is budget friendly already, but on Mondays, it's "Coffee Monday " and coffee sells for just 85 Cents! WHY 85 cents? Well, because the Bakery is called "85°" . That as in Eighty Five Degrees. Where you can get those yummy slightly sweet, but not overly sweet, baked goods and coffee. They have a variety of coffees both hot and iced by the way. So far I've had buffet their Monday Special Coffee. But in due time, I'll make my way along they're goodies. Check out this place! You'll love it! Just be sure you're not in a rush because this place is always packed and you'll have waiting time. But the wait is worth it all.

Though 85C is my go-to spot for bubble tea and pastries, each store provides a slightly different experience. In this case, the drinks were great, but the attention to detail was lacking. I ordered 4 drinks and a cake but wasn’t given a tray. I know we don’t believe in plastic bags, but a paper-to-go tray would have been necessary. Highly recommend the grapefruit tea and matcha sea foam. I would keep the sugar level to 25% (lowest) as it was still pretty sweet at that level.

I absolutely love this place, pastries always come out great but it is a hit or miss with the drinks. This barista skipped over my order and then did not add the fruit to my drink 😭 like that’s whole purpose of me coming here if not I’d just go to Starbucks. For my coffee and tea people you know it definitely leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you pay for a drink & it’s not made correctly

I visited 85 °C Bakery Cafe in Torrance for the first time today and fell in love w their desserts. Their ube mochi bread is a delicious highlight—soft, flavorful, and unlike anything you find elsewhere. Everything I tried was fresh and affordable, from individual cakes to savory buns—you get a ton of variety without breaking the bank. I also had a milk tea, which was fine but nothing to write home about—I’d love to see more boba drinks or unique tea options to pair with their breads. The café can get busy, and seating is limited, but service is quick and there’s convenient parking. Also, it wasn’t super clean and seating area wasn’t super inviting. Overall, it’s my go‑to for fresh, tasty baked goods at great prices. Just wish the beverage menu was as exciting as the pastries! Can’t wait to try the cheesecake soufflé next time.

Asian inspired baked food reminds me of Japan. Good baked goods and good drinks. Little seating area to enjoy the food. Really the only thing which keeps this place from 5 stars… the staff needs to spend some time cleaning the seating area, not a pleasant experience when the tables are dirty and the garbage can which sits in view looks like something is growing on it. Just hope the kitchen where the baked goods are prepared is treated better

I was craving a nice cool beverage and was nearby 85°. I used the kiosk to order, it must have run out of paper because I didn't receive a receipt. Luckily I got the number on the screen before it disappeared. It didn't seem like too many waiting, but the wait was quite long. There was only one person making the drinks and he probably could have put a little pep in his step. When the orders came out, no one could hear the numbers he was calling. Anyway, service was a tad slow, but my drink was as refreshing as I wanted.

Title: Declining Quality and Unpleasant Customer Service Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I have been a regular customer at 85 Degree Bakery for our breakfasts, but I am disappointed to say that the overall experience has been declining lately. This review is not meant to discourage others from visiting, but rather to express my concerns and hope for improvements. Let's start with the food. While the bakery used to offer delicious and freshly baked goods, the quality seems to have deteriorated over time. The once-fluffy pastries and breads now lack the same freshness and flavor that made them so appealing. It's disheartening to see a place that was once known for its exceptional baked goods fall short in this area. Furthermore, the coffee, which used to be a highlight of our visits, has also lost its charm. The flavor has become inconsistent, and the overall quality has noticeably declined. It's disappointing to receive a mediocre cup of coffee when we used to rely on 85 Degree Bakery for a satisfying start to our day. Another aspect that needs serious attention is the customer service. The staff's behavior has been quite disappointing, as their attitude towards customers can sometimes be outright rude. A welcoming and friendly atmosphere is essential for any establishment, and it is unfortunate that this crucial aspect seems to be neglected. Improved training and an emphasis on customer satisfaction would greatly benefit the overall experience. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns into consideration and works towards restoring the quality of their food and coffee. Additionally, addressing the issue of customer service should be a priority. 85 Degree Bakery has the potential to be a top-notch establishment once again, but it requires a concerted effort to regain its former glory. While I may not be returning as frequently until I see improvements, I encourage others to give it a try and make their own judgment. There are still some redeeming qualities, such as the cozy ambiance and a wide variety of baked goods to choose from. However, until significant changes are made, I cannot confidently recommend 85 Degree Bakery as a top choice for breakfast or coffee.

The male cashier walked away from the checkout register and didn't come back, leaving me hanging and with a busy line behind me. This also caused me to get skipped as I had to switch to the other cashier present behind another customer with a big order, who was originally behind me in line. Who abandons the cash register and ignores a busy line???

I waited 20 minutes for them to make this drink and it was bitter and nasty. There was no line and almost all there staff was on break or in the back. Never going back to this location.

I gave 1 star because the pilipina lady at the register didn't understand wht I order. 3 times I told her extra ice instead she put extra sugar. It's good I check my receipt. I never have a problem at this store and its not busy when I went inside.

Went in this morning to pick up another $40 worth of pastries, and today I was greeted by an extremely rude employee. I spend $40/$60 every trip, and I wanted a smoothie. I asked if they could make it a certain way - like I always do - and she said "NO. We don't do that." Despite the fact that I always get it that way. She was extremely rude. The short stubby Mexican girl just seemed unhappy to be there, but the owners should really consider firing these employees.
