We often go there for dinner, with sandwiches, burgers, and everything is good. We went for lunch this weekend and I really loved it. The food was very good and varied. Lorena served us very well.
Everything was great at this restaurant/sandwich shop. The waiters were very attentive, and the food was quick and delicious. It was getting late, so we decided to stay for dinner in Torrelavega. We really liked the place (spacious and very clean), and they also had outdoor seating if you preferred to eat outside. We ordered: a Gourmet Goat Cheese Burger (spectacular!), an El Parque Burger, a Vegetable Sandwich, two more El Parque Sandwiches (which they loved), and to start, some fried squid with onion rings (a generous portion and tender). We also had a drink and a coffee. It's quite far from Valencia 😅😅, but if it were closer, it would definitely become our go-to meeting place 😊👌🏻 I can't find the receipt, but the bill came to €51.60
Spacious restaurant with a pleasant terrace. I had an Iberian burger, which included Serrano ham and goat cheese. It came with a proper bun, which I really appreciate since I don't like the current trend of brioches and sweet buns in burgers. The Mahou beers were cold. Recommended. I've only been once, so I'm not familiar with the rest of the menu.
Let's start with the facilities. Both the bar and the lounges are very welcoming, in a Castilian style and beautifully decorated. The food and the value for money couldn't be better. We had the set menu for five people, and the great thing about going in such a large group was that each of us chose a different dish and we were able to try a little of everything. The cocido montañés (mountain stew) is simply outstanding. Even in other towns, more specialized in this Cantabrian dish, they don't make it as delicious. The fish, which was mine—cod on a bed of Manchego-style ratatouille—couldn't have been better, with the perfect amount of salt. The meat was cooked perfectly, the cachopo (breaded and fried veal cutlet) was delicious, and the tuna tacos... simply wonderful. Finally, the pork ribs with BBQ sauce were so tender the meat practically fell off the bones. There's little more to say. A few months earlier we also went, this time ordering à la carte, and although the price is a bit higher, it's still a very good choice. Octopus and clams in sauce, as well as anchovies, are some of the stars of the menu. These days it's difficult to find such high-quality food at an affordable price, which is why this restaurant is highly recommended. Finally, I must say that the staff is incredibly friendly and very polite to customers. We will definitely be back soon! Overall, a 10 out of 10!
Ok
Great little find Food was typical to the region 16euros for menu of the day. All the food was generous sizes. Would visit again.
We had the menu 20€/person. Good food an good service.
The service was excellent from the moment we made the reservation, and they were very friendly at all times. The restaurant is very well located; to find parking, you have to go a few blocks further so you don't have to go around in circles. The food was truly delicious, very tasty, and the presentation was also excellent. Although the portion could have been a little more, it would have been better if you left still wanting more, or just when the dish tasted better, it ran out. The downside, so-called "desserts," are nothing special, and the presentation seemed like something was thrown on the plate. For the €18 menu on a Saturday, it could have been improved a bit. The cleanliness of the place and the service from the waiters were very attentive and friendly, with a professional attitude. This review is based on the opinions of four people.
Buen restaurante con un menú de finde semana bastante bueno y a buen precio. Nos atendieron muy bien y fueron muy atentos
Decent quality for the price. Very fast service. The burguers are very decent and the baguettes were good. I chose the calamari with Ali Oli and it was great value for money.
Comida familiar menú cerrado a 35€.
We went to eat after a club match. The menu lists allergens incorrectly. Nothing remarkable about the food. My girlfriend is allergic to nuts, and we thought we'd be fine. While we were eating, she found something on her mixed plate, and since we didn't know what it was, she put it aside. Her mouth was feeling a little itchy, and we thought it was from the vinegar, since she had sores in her mouth. After we finished eating, I took what she'd removed from her plate, crushed it a bit, and we realized it was some hazelnut pieces. My girlfriend went to the bathroom with an anxiety attack to rinse her mouth and take her medicine. Luckily, she didn't ingest the nuts. When we asked the waitress, she told us the salad had a nut dressing, which is NOT specified on the menu. Luckily, it was just a scare.
We've booked for August 15th. They've been advertising 40 degrees for today for a week. Well, it turns out the €38 per person menu wasn't enough to buy three fans. We had to eat at the bar with two nearly fainting children. A pre-chosen menu, not even à la carte, was €38 per person and the children's menu was €20. It's shameful. As regular customers, we won't be returning so soon.
Food was average. They didn't bring us tap water, they said they don't have jars.
